“Your Majesty! Your Majesty!”

Allanae was flying through the narrow hallways of the castle, searching each room she passed, hoping for the Queen to show herself. As she was passing by a room, she had already checked, the sounds of shutting doors. Hearing this, Allanae pulled on the handles, but they didn't budge.

Annoyed, she kicked down the door, and an ‘Eep’ was heard from a curvy closet. Opening the closet, again with raw strength, there was a heavily bruised elven queen. Every single part of her body had a different wound, a punch, a whiplash, chains, black skin, and some cuts filled with pus.

“Your Majesty, don’t hide, we need to leave the castle,”

“Who are you!” The Queen squealed, trembling.

“I am Allanae, a creature made by Beelzebub, although does not control him,” Allanae tugged again.

“Don’t pull me, just look at the back of my neck, and see what I am doing,”

She did, the queen Titania going out, revealing that the base of her neck, a vine, was connected into her. Surprised by what there was, Allanae gasped in awe.

“I’m connected to the world tree at the moment, if you remove me, it’ll grow angry and rampant, killing us three," She said, just noticing Rache on her shoulder.

“What are you doing?”

“Communicating with the souls which reside in the tree, asking for their advice,” The queen’s eyes grew drowsy, and she sat down.

Allanae repeated what the queen was doing. “Why?”

“Because they believe that Beelzebub needs to be stopped so that we’re making a plan,” The Queen began to go into a trance, so Allanae decided to guard her.

Closing the doors, and making sure the room was sealed, Allanae twisted her spear. Rache was curious about what was happening, making a stable chair out of silk, and Allanae placed the queen on it. Hearing the destruction outside, she wondered what was going to happen.

The Queen then woke up, saying one word before looking at Allanae.

“Kaloko,”

The moth's ears piqued. “That’s, their companion, that was Nicko’s teammate,”

“Indeed, an elf corrupted by [Decay], an interesting tale she tells,”

“What are you going to do?”

The queen shook her head. “No, its what are you going to do,” Pulling out the vine from her Neck, the queen walked to Allanae.

“What am I going to do?”

“You are going to call upon the power of a soul that is dear, one of the strongest powers the elven kingdom can offer,”

“There’s a catch,” Allane looked up at the queen.

“Indeed, for you must best them at whatever they choose, if not, then you also shall join the tree,”

Allanae grabbed the vine from Titania. “I’ll do it!”

“Very well, sit down,”

The moth did so, on the chair, opening her nape to the queen. Wishing her good luck, Allanae’s vision turned black, and crying was heard. Looking behind her, Allanae saw a purple light, the place where the sound was being emitted, so she decided to head towards it.

The light then began to sprout arms and legs, sitting down and tucked away. Allanae approached the weeping purple person and began to talk.

“Kaloko?”

As the person turned around, the crying stopped, revealing a face that was filled with jagged lines, lines that Ligo gave.

“Who are you?” She said in a weak tone.

“My name is Allanae, and I need your help,”

“Why,” She turned away. “I’ve been here, confused and alone, destroyed, what help do you need from someone like me,”

“Power,”

“Ah, I heard about that, take a soul back to the physical plane, and use its power, very well, tell me Allanae, why?”

“Nicko, Harrian, Enar, Atogin, do they sound familiar?”

Her eyes piqued, turning away. “They need me,”

“They do, so I ask, help them,” Allanae kneeled.

There was silence.

“No, you have to beat me first,” The area changed, to an arena, the same arena Kaloko lost her life.

The glow of her skin dimmed, her skin turned darker, as her hair turned black, growing larger. Ligo now appeared in front of her. There was cheering, and the arena was filled with cheers.

“Show me Kaloko,” Ligo said. “Show that you can beat me,”

Looking at her own hands, Allanae’s hands changed, and that's when she realized that this was the game. Defeat Ligo as Kaloko, something which the original could not do. Allanae did not know how to defeat the [Dark Elf]; she didn’t even know what she had on her.

Looking at her back, she saw a bow, so she grabbed it and decided to try and fire some shots at Ligo, but all he did was a dodge, retaliating with his crossbow, getting close enough to grab Kaloko.

She pulled out a dagger hidden in her arm, and cut Ligo’s wrist, taking out her whip and smacking her enemy. Ligo fell to the ground, getting up, his limb regrown, this as his skin began to glow purple.

It was happening again, as Ligo dashed towards Allanae, only dodging it by a hair, as Ligo had taken a tuft of hair, which turned to dust with his touch. Allanae’s eyes widened, clicking her fingers to make a fire, which she put on an arrow and launched.

The arrow curved in the air, as it hit Ligo in the chest. The arrow turned to dust, as Ligo appeared in front of Allanae, putting his head on her face, saying the same word killed Kaloko.

“[Decay],”

She felt the pain, her entire body dying very quickly, as Allanae’s mind began to find, only for her to remember something. From a world where she didn’t recognize a ring, a memory from Kaloko’s past ignited something inside her.

It was night time, over a world filled with skyscrapers, as a man was kneeling to her, opening a small box for a ring to be shown inside of it. The next memory was of Kaloko's past self slipping on the ring, feeling joy. Snapping back to reality, the feeling of defeat quickly subsided.

A dagger hidden in Allanae’s hand appeared in her hand, as she planted it into Ligo’s throat. The pain stopped, as the [Dark Elf] stared at her, tears welling from his eyes. Allanae closed her eyes, and with the sound of a blade through flesh, she opened them again, seeing the arena had changed back to black. Kaloko behind Ligo, the [Dark Elf] disappeared, Allanae returned to her original form.

“You’ve beaten him, so it was possible,” Kaloko wept.

“Everything is possible, so now Kaloko,” Allanae pushed herself up, standing eye to eye with the soul. “Will you help me?” She reached out her hand.

“I will,” Kaloko placed her hand, and pushed herself onto Allanae, hugging the moth whilst weeping.

The room where Allanae was in appeared, the moth stood up, took a bow and arrow walking out the room, leaving Rache and the queen Titania alone.

“Now then Kaloko lets send you off as a person who died in an arena, but as a person who helped save a country,"
