《The Demon Child - Awakening》Chapter 76 - Reunion

I became untouchable and fell towards the king, trying to see why he hadn't been wounded. As I got closer and closer, I saw a large scar which seemed to be charred; the king had sealed his wound by burning the area.
I wasn't sure how it was possible, but I kept falling, wrapping a chain around his neck and reeling it in. I clutched my hand into a fist, and I punched the king in the stomach. I then opened my hand, and an icicle shard began to grow in my hand and impaled him in the abdomen.
The king coughed up blood and placed his two swords on my shoulders. He then used his soul ability and pushed me away with his growing swords. I fell to the floor, bracing for impact, before jumping back up, flying towards the king.
I saw that his blood and heat had already sealed his wound. I then went through him again and met up with Azure, who was about to attack. I was able to tell him about the kings healing capabilities, which made him smile.
I felt what he was about to do, so I kept going upwards. I kept flying up until I saw a golden spire, something which I knew is what both of us wanted. Azure began to fight hand to hand with the king, and I grabbed the spire.
Focusing on it, I began to freeze the spire, so much that ice began to form around it. Azure's eyes gazed towards me, and he flung the king at me. He was confused at the moment before he saw me at the last second.
Like a spear, I lunged the spire in a spinning throw, due to the king having a sword on him. Expanding his two swords, he put them in front of him; the blades began to protect the king. Very quickly, I removed the swords, and the cold spire then went through the king's entire body.
We both observed the hole, and in a bit under a minute, it had healed completely. I then thought, which was a message to Kirigaya. My head then felt like it was going to burst before I began to hear Kirigaya as well.

"Now we are connected in mind as well,"
"Any answers, can a spirits source heal the user like my regeneration?" I thought.
"I guess, I've been sliced in half before, and I did heal, although not in a vessel,"
"Looking at the injuries, he's seeming to heal quite slowly, so most likely he welds his injuries, as he used his spirit source to heal,"
"So we just need to make large dents in him, not a scrape,"
"Do it,"
"Don't have to ask me twice,"
I opened my wings again and seemed to appear at the spire which hit the king. It had already hit the floor, so I grabbed it, and I threw it back at the king. He saw this and his swords then appeared back into his hands.
Small fireballs which began to grow in size appeared behind the king until each of them was three times as large as me. I threw the spire, and got out of the way of the attacks, begging to fly up around the spire.
As it hit the blazing hot spheres, it became a molten mess, losing its original shape, but it still kept its initial target. The still-hot mess was coming close to the king before it began to shrink quickly.
It was only able to cover most of his chest, the hot metal moulding into the king's skin. Azure and I saw an opening, we both wrapped out tendrils around the king, his on the waist and mine on the top.
I follow up, and he flew down, and when the king was weakened, we were able to rip him in half. I looked back and saw the kings lower half began to glow a bright green, before bursting into flames.
I smiled before somehow, my chains were broken, and I began to feel pain. I wasn't sure how the king cut through them, but Kirigaya saw this as the perfect time to bond with my incarnate weapon.
It was over in an instant, and I looked down, to see that he had disappeared. I met up with Azure and saw the king's legs completely disintegrated. We met up over the ash, and I explained what happened.

"That spirit, I believe he has, he's planning to get more of it's the source?"
...Oh no…"
"He's getting it dammit!"
Both mine and Azure's wings then grew, as we began to fly through the rubble. I began to see a trail of a green soul, Azure followed behind me. Retracting my wings on a particular layer of debris, we noticed a trail of blood; the person seems to be crawling.
Following the blood trail, it stopped at some rubble, but it still led on. I summoned all of my chains, and destroyed the wreckage, moving forward. The area changed in a matter of steps, from a stone kingdom to a laboratory-made of bronze.
Large vats of a red liquid, twelve of them on either side, were at the entrance, something felt off, and I used my soul eyes to look at them. A mixture of souls, all seeming to be old and distorted, laid there inside the glass tubes, three hundred and twenty subjects of a type one artificial, all now just a cocktail of liquids.
Before long, Azure and I heard machinery, and we hurried to the main area. The most massive glass, vat at least ten metres tall, with a red spirit and a small staircase surrounding it. The king was beginning to crack the glass before time began to slow down again.
"Dyestral, I need to talk with Agnus; unfortunately, my vessels can't move in stopped time," Kirigaya explained, as he exited my body.
"No worries," Trying my best, my soul exited Antrite and went into the soul world, my physical body still in stopped time. "I believe that this plane is unaffected, and where you also reside,"
"Very true, now we only have a few minutes to talk, after all, Agnus can still talk,"
Both of us flew up towards the king, facing Agnus. Looking at the legless lord, I tried to kick him, but it just went through, it seemed that I couldn't harm him in stopped time. Shifting my gaze towards Kirigaya, he looked up as Agnus began to look down.
"K-k-k-kirigaya," Agnus was able to say in a soft tone.
The spirit of the city of Onsice, one of fire, allowing Onsice to have about half of the year with sunshine, and the other covered with snow. He was tall, was a crimson red as well as transparent. He had white flowing tendrils of messy hair, some of which went down to his chest.
"It's been a while old friend,"
"S-s-seven th-thousand years…"
"It pains me to see you like this,"
Agnus then looked at me before going back to Kirigaya. "V-vessel?"
"Yes, but I need to know something, how did you get captured in this?"
"A mysterious force, one of a black body, a hazy black soul, somehow he apprehended me, and put me in here somehow,"
"I've met that soul before, in Antral, when I was away for more than a month, I know what you're talking about, and so does Azure," I responded.
"A-a ancient d-demon he is, t-the old f-father of most noble houses, both of all races,"
"Anything else, his soul ability, demon ability incarnate weapon?"
"You struck a deal with an immortal being Kirigaya so that you could escape Drundons grasp, that hazy soul was…"
Kirigaya and I were forced back into my body, as time continued, it usually would've quickly shifted, but this time just continued without any warning. I couldn't dwindle on the conversation, Azure and I released out tendrils, now ready to fight an even stronger opponent.
