《The Demon Child - Awakening》Chapter 45 - Moonlight

A week passed, and every day I would get more knowledge of what I was doing for my mission. During that time, I also visited Alica quite a lot and trained with her and showed her my improvement. Like most, she was also surprised by my soul ability, and how I was able to use them to go through solid objects.
Thanks to Alicia's advice, my body healed the grey muscles in under two days, and during that time, she acknowledged me as a worthy opponent. In the evening, I saw Sasha come around sometimes after I exited the forest. I would greet her before she would leave to go back to her household.
I smiled and finally, the day arrived. I woke up from my bed at the crack of dawn and got dressed. I went through the door and went to find Jododam, he was usually in his office, his library or the dining area. I decided to go to his library, as that's where he usually was at this time of day.
I jumped through the ceiling and appeared in the library, I turned around and saw that Jododam wasn't there. I looked up and went through the ceiling again, this time I was correct, Jododam was looking at his watch with Sasha looking at hers.
"It's a shame I don't know the time, I just got up at the crack of dawn," I sighed.
"We have been waiting for you, two minutes and thirty seconds," Sasha replied. "Please sit next to me, would you?"
"I would."
I walked up to the seat and sat down in it. I noticed a teacup filled with a red liquid on the bench to my right, so I decided to sip the tea and I suspected right, it was blood. I wasn't shocked, but I was surprised how lightly I took it now. I raised my cup to Jododam and then I asked him to begin speaking.

"You'll be leaving very soon Dyestral, through my demon gate, you'll be heading south to a port town called Prima, you'll find someone in this picture and meet up with him,"
Jododam reached for the picture, but before he could do that, I interrupted him.
"We're looking for a man, likely age is around mine, platinum-blonde hair, red eyes, wearing black attire, am I correct?" Jododam looked stunned for a moment, before speaking again.
"Why yes you are Dyestral," Jododam replied "How did you know? This is the first time I put the picture there and I was working all night, so did you guess?"
"It was just a new speed of mine, that and you said we would be working with the demon king's son, and you have a portrait of you and the demon king together, I simply memorized his features and guessed,"
"Very well, yes you are looking for a person with that description at Prima, I will see you off."
The three of us got up and made our way towards the basement. Sasha copied my soul ability and we both fell through the ground. We simply walked around and found a flight of stairs leading down. Sasha and I went down the stairs and found a wooden door encrusted in gold.
The door then opened from the other side and Jododam was there, greeting us. We walked inside and were greeted to a demon gate. Unlike the one at school, the altar seemed to be renewed with a more violent look.
It had four pillars, each one with a different pattern, the altar seemed to be teaming with multiple shades of red. I didn't care and I jumped into the demon gate. With a variety of different colours, I appeared in Antral.

I looked at my body and saw that it was the same as I remembered it. My clothes in ruins, I forgot after the fight with Ren, but Jododam didn't. He gave me some more clothes and I quickly put them on.
I cracked the right side of my neck and began to walk outside the cave where I found myself in. The outside was similar to when I first came to Antral, except it was much farther down. I saw Sasha and Jododam give something to her.
I quickly arrived and interrupted their conversation.
"What's that?" I asked Jododam.
"It's a new invention called a 'the compass', it makes it so you always know which direction you are going, although your source of lightning will most likely interfere, so I just gave one to Sashal,"
"No need to argue then, we will be leaving now,"
"Understood." Sashal and I said at the same time.
Jododam walked back into the cave and waved goodbye. As soon as he left our sight, Sashal and I jumped down off the cliff and began to freefall. Sashal used the ring on her finger and made a thin layer of blood which she began to glide down on, whilst I buried my left hand into the side of the cliff.
I positioned myself and jumped again, landing near the edge of the mountain. I looked up and saw that Sashal was gliding towards me, and after a while, she landed right next to where I was.
"Shall we get going?" Sashal asked.
"I believe so, where's south though?"
"To your right, remember this isn't a competition, let's just stick together,"
"I understand, let's get going?"
Sashal and I jumped, cracking the ground underneath us and into the trees. I smiled, thinking about how challenging it will be.
