Status Revelation

[Arc Pov]

It has been a week including breaking camp since our march to the elven city of Illarthia. The rangers that were escorting us were only a patrol group stationed at a nearby village outpost. when they received an SOS from their chief they immediately set off with 75 percent of their personnel to protect them. when they arrived on site at the entrance to the ruins they only found their priestess and two others. the rangers listened to what happened from the three of them and then set to prepare for a wave of monsters should it happen again. after setting up the encampment the rangers were just about to enter the ruins when an armored human appeared carrying the Great Elder with him out of the entrance. they were shocked speechless on how the armored man appeared with monster blood all over its body that they thought it was an undead. that was when the elder spoke to them that it is fine and that he is a golem that was newly brought into the world. afterwords they escorted the golem and Elder to where the priestess was and spread the news that the elder was fine. once neared the camp the men then came to cheer and see the golem in question that saved their elder. they then saw their little priestess charging to the elder into a heart warming scene with two others in tow. after that we all broke camp and were heading to the elvin city. during the march i was gathering information about the world that i was just born into.

"Arn how many races are there in the world?" asking the chief

[Chief Arn]

"hmm there are 6 groups of races and each of them are mixed together with different species." answering his benefactor.

[Arc]

"Hoh, and what might these group be?"

[Aria]

"that would be Elf, Human, Demi-human, Demon, Dwarf, Beast, and lastly Ancients." answering proudly.

[Arc]

"hmm, but wait isn't there one more from the six that were mentioned?"

"Thats right! the Ancients are basically you Arc."

suddenly a window pops up

this question shocked not only Arn and Aria but all of the Rangers that heard the question as well. after a few moments Arn speaks up about the subject and question Arc.

"Arc how do you know about the Status function?"asking the question and then the surrounding although not looking anymore but nodded in unison.

"Well when I was still trapped in the form of an heart the window appeared" Half in lie

"I See," Rummaging in her one piece she then continued to explain. "The status screen is a long forgotten ability that isnt available in this world and the only think close to it are status plates." grabbing the metal plate in her pocket and showing to Arc.

then one of the rangers volunteered to show arc his status plate to compare as well.

I was surprise to see that their stats were low compared to mine when looking at several of their status plates. seeing the differance in plates gave me a sense of deja vu of a story that i read about a guy being summoned into another world to become a hero and that he could only use a shield as a weapon and that through his journey. himself and his party stats were really different from what the worlds stats would be normally. {Note: Tate No Yuusha Narigari}
