《Hunter X Hunter Overgeared》Swallow X Pay

The Nen user eyed the snake and couldn't help but feel a deep sense of fear and awe towards it. Although a Nen user was considered strong , there also existed magicial beasts that could make a Nen user feel like a little kid. This snake was one of those creatures.
' It's here..The Purple Death. A monster that was so dangerous that it was exterminated from the world, but here it stands. The diary didn't lie, in fact it may have somewhat underestimated this monster.'
"Hisss~
The monstrous snake hissed as it flicked it's forked tongue, smelling something. It looked a little confused at first as it wasn't yet that time of the year, but when it noticed a sweet smell it completely went mad and started thrashing around.
"Aaaaa....nonono...hel...
The wounded hostage's screamed and tried to leave, but the damage to their legs coupled with the blood loss made them powerless. Of course the snake noticed them. It approached them and flicked it's tongue and a stronger smell hit him.
"N...o...
One if the hostage's gave one last meaningless attempt to get away, but the snake didn't care as it immediately plunged down and ate the man whole. It was so bizarre to witness such a thing. A man was eaten by the snake like a man would eat a snack. This completely summed up the exodus of humans from the Dark Continent to the Mobius Lake. The difference in power was so huge that even humans with their ingenuity were but food to them.
"Hisss...
After the snake ate the first man it seemed to develop a taste for human flash as it immediately gobbled up the three other hostages. In lees then 30 seconds it was quiet again and the snake was about to head back in the cave to digest the meal he just had, but it stooped.

"Hey...
He turned around and saw nother puny human had presented itself in front of him. Compared to the gigantic snake the man in front of it was so small and insignificant that it was funny.
'The Purple Death, a very dangerous hybrid snake. It's scales are as tough as hardened steel and not to mention it's deadly poison breath and poison resistance. You really are a monster that I wouldn't dare face in my dreams, but now...I think it's time to pay up for the meal.'
"Hissss~
The snake hissed as it rushed towards the Nen user like a lightning bolt, but the Nen user wasn't afraid. He just raised his right hand which was holding some kind of remote and pressed the only button on it.
*Click*
*BOOOOOM*
As soon as he pressed the button a loud explosion was heard and the snake imploded. Blood ,flesh and organs flew everywhere coating the man and he surroundings in another fresh layer of blood.
"Hahahah, boss that was awesome! It was more beautiful than I expected. You really are...
Impala came out laughing as he relished the grussome sight before him. He headed for the head, but a cold gaze made him stop.
"Stop talking, get to work. We have to get to the vault room as soon as possible. There is no more time to waste."
"Yes, yes, but can I get my head first? You promised me."
"Well get it later. For now the vault is our priority. Get the men ready , and bring me something to clean myself with."
"Yes...
Impala nodded as he gave the other mercenaries some orders. They then picked up the crate, took the hostage's with them and entered the now open cave entrance. As they walked slowly through the cave entrance the Nen user couldn't help but remember about the diary. The contents of it were so helpful to him that without it he would have died before even landing on the island.

' From passing through the no flight territory, to killing The Purple Death I have nothing but admiration for that man, but also I would never have wished to go someone like him.'
As these thoughts passed through the Nen users mind he clearly remembered a passage on the book. It told how his treasure was protected and the horrible things he did to keep it safe. He captured numerous people and brought them to this island as the Nen user did and also fed them to the snake, making the snake like a guard dog of his. Everytime he entered the cave he would feed the snake humans and the snake would leave him alone. The number of people feed to the snake was more than 1200 if what was written on the diary was correct.
The way he achieved this is by attracting the snake with the 'Skin Shedding' flower, the same flowers Tank had smuggled into the airship. The flower as stated on its name helped snakes she's it's skin , especially gigantic snakes such as The Purple Death that if they didn't eat this flower when the time to shed came , they would die.

Disclaimer: I'm not continuing this story. Check out Azarinth Healer, it's a more current story where I worked on a lot of things I found wrong with this one. Main character is somewhat similar as well so if you like Eleonora, you'll probably like Ilea. I still invested a ton of time writing this so check it out if you feel like it. There's gonna be 20 Chapters 39k words total. Hey everyone. This is a story I've started writing like a year ago and thought why not post it now. This story is about fighting and magic in a pretty standard fantasy world. The story follows Eleonora through her daily life in Duneswatch and on her way to become an adventurer. No secrets here, it's pretty generic. Should be decently paced so just give it a shot if you want to. I'm not gonna sell it to you in this quick summary. The range of writing on RR is so wide we both know you just have to give it a chapter...or a paragraph depending on how unique the grammar is. Please do criticize harshly. I'm definitely no writer but everybody can improve with pointers in the right direction. Don't expect regular updates.

Whatever End
The fight is over, the enemy destroyed, the world is saved… technically. “Stand Fast!” The general called over the din of battle. “We will hold this line! The future depends on us! To whatever end!” Richard believed him, and that’s why he had bound his soul to the Arcstone, in hopes of containing the rift forever. If only he had learned more before making that final sacrafice. When the battle is done, and the world is ‘saved’ what happens to those left behind? And.. what should he do, now that it’s over? Cover art by gej302

Our unlucky (Lucky?) protagonist doesn't even get to find out as he finds himself in a world of cultivators with a "Golden Ring" of a system inside his head. Under normal circumstances, finding yourself in another world would be the fantasy of an otaku but when it's the world of Against the Gods, Jin can't help but remember the lead character and frown. "Against the Gods? That means Yun Che should be here... If I run into that psycho who knows what might happen. On the other hand, he is a prick so it would be a fun idea to mess with him and keep those girls safe. Might even see if Qingyue is all the book made her out to be~ Not like he deserves her." Follow Jin as he tears up the plot, trolls the would be MC, and grows in power with the help of his snarky system. (I don't own the art, found it online)

Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.
