《Hunter X Hunter Overgeared》Dragon X Past

As soon as he pinpointed his opponents location Kaili sped up immediately. He moved with such speed and such finesse that he didn't look like an old man at all.
He passed through half the mansion quickly before he stopped to check on the intruder’s location once again. He put his hand over his right eye and activated his Hatsu.
' Crystal Eye
Thousand Eyes Demonic Mirror.'
Immediately in his left eye appeared two different images like a TV split screen. The images showed different parts of the mansion from different angles making that nothing could escape Kaili's view.
'Where is he? I was sure that he wouldn't have gotten far from the position he was 10 seconds before, but he has completely disappeared.
Did he escape?'
Kaili continued to change mirrors that he had strategically placed around the mansion and he finally found his target. The intruder looked short, around 165 cm tall and that was all Kaili could find out. The intruder was moving fast so Kaili couldn't get a good look at him.
‘What is he doing? He seems to be moving all around the place and isn't trying to be that stealthy. He has crossed through all the eastern side of the mansion and is now going to the northern side. Why....
At that moment Kaili felt it. A wave off Aura passed through his body and he immediately understood.
*Bang*
His mind went black and he acted without really thinking. Kaili used Ruy and distributed his Aura 50:50 to each of his legs, raising his speed to the max and disappeared from his spot with a bang.
.......
As Kaili sped back the way he came, his brain put together the pieces.
‘Damnit how could I have been so careless? The intruder is no ordinary assassin but a Nen user and a skilled one at that, so that explains why he managed to infiltrate the mansion so fast and without the guards noticing. He also wasn't going through the mansion without a purpose, he was instead combing through it with his En and now he knows my position.

Shit, I have to get to young master as soon as possible. He is directly on the enemy's path...I don't have much time.'
He managed to go back in less than 10 seconds and door of the dining room came to Kaili's view .
'There is no time.'
He didn't knock as he usually did but gathered some of his Aura on his right fist and completely broke it.
*Bam*
"Young master, come here!"
.......
Caid had stopped eating and was stabbing absentmindedly the perfectly cocked steak in front of him.
"Hmm...
‘Did something happen that Kaili had to leave so abruptly? Is it...
*sigh*
Maybe I'm over thinking it and he just had to badly go take a shit? It's possible, it sometimes happens......
*Bam*
Unexpectedly the door suddenly shattered into a myriad of wooden pieces and then he heard Kaili's shout.
"Young master, come here!"
"Huh....
Caid was confused by what was happening.
' Why is Kaili breaking thought doors like he is the cool aid man?'
*Bang*
"Young master!"
As his brain was computing what was happening another bang was heard as the wall to his right also exploded into little pieces.
"Huh...
As Caid still hadn't gotten out of his stupor he felt someone grab him and pull him backwards.
"Young master, are you okay? Are you hurt anywhere?"
The one who had grabbed him was Kaili who had now positioned himself before Caid.
"No, I don't think so....
"Haha, what a touching moment you two are having right now. I almost regret ruining it, almost."
As booming voice sounded from the hole in the wall , someone came in. The intruder that Kaili had noticed had finally shown himself and he was an old asian man. The old man was about 165 cm tall, bald, and wore a black tracksuit and sneakers. His face was cleanly shaved except a pair of white moustache and his eyes shined with intelligence.
"What are you doing breaking into the Yalan family mansion? Are you an assassin?"

What Kaili said out loud was not for the intruder, but it was for Caid. It was that he could somewhat get a grasp of the situation and he did.
'So this old man is an assassin? Does that mean I'm the target?'
The short old man on the other hand didn't seem worried at as he just put his hands behind his back and stared at Caid.
"An assassin, don't make me laugh. If I wanted to kill someone in this mansion I would have already done it, but it's interesting....
As soon as you came into contact with my En you came back rushing here. You didn't employ your own En to find my location and there weren't any cameras for you to discern my location, so how?
Tell me!"
"Guh...
As soon as the old man spoke his last words a wave of hostile Ren enveloped the whole room.
‘Damnit, the Ren he is showing....I'm no match for him. Also my Hatsu is not suitable for fighting so I'm at a clear disadvantage.
I have to buy some time for young master to escape and...
"Are you thinking of escaping?"
The voice of the old man was heard again, bringing Kaili from his thoughts.
"No, from the flow of your Aura you seem to be preparing for a fight, but you clearly should have felt it by now that you can't win.
Ah, could it be that way you are trying to buy some time so that child could escape? Hahaha... look again."
Kaili was surprised at first by the old man's sharp deduction as he had clearly seen through him and then looked at Caid with the corner of his eye.
'Young master...
Caid was shaking non-stop as beads of sweat rained down from his body creating a small sweat pool below his feet. He looked absolutely terrified, but he was still barely standing on his feet.
"Amazing, absolutely amazing! Although he still hasn't formed his Ten he is able to stand in the face of my hostile Ren.
Well, there is no need to delay anymore is there."
Old man ceased his hostile Ren and reached to take something out of his pants pocket. Immediately as he did that Kaili raised his guard at 100 % and prepared for a fight.
‘Is he a Conjurer or maybe a Manipulator and putting his hand in his pocket is the condition for activating his ability? Maybe this is a bluff and he is just taunting me so I can attack first and his Hatsu is a counter type?
Shit, there is no way to know.'
"Haha, calm down, calm down. If I wanted to kill you I would already have done so. I just want to ask you a question.
Do you know this?"
The old man took his hand out of his pocket and retrieved a green jade plate. In it was exquisitely drawn the figure of an oriental dragon. As soon as Kaili saw it he understood, but he didn't show it on his face.
"No I...
"You’re lying. You may be able to fool me if I was going by the oblivious expression on your face, but you can't fool yourself. Your Aura is like an open book to me. So, once again I ask you.
Do you know this symbol?"
Kaili was cornered. The man had seen through his lie, so denying it any longer was futile.
'Damnit...
There is no other choice. He clearly knew the answer before he questioned me, and this was just a test. If he really is who I think he is, there is zero chance for escape so the only option is to comply.'
"Yes, I know it."
"See, was it that hard? I just wanted the truth, but now that my interest was piqued....

No, I, Donovan Rutherford, had been transported to this world to be the one and only Black Knight of the Demon King and to defeat the Hero and his companions.(The Cover Photo is from DnD, aka Dungeons and Dragons, which isn't something I own. Well, I own one of the boardgames, but you all know what I mean. Anyways, like my other story I consider it more of a 2D world, but that's just me.)
