Chapter 2

When I awoke, the first thing I saw was a wooden roof. I was lying on a bed with white sheets, a fairly comfortable white pillow and a semi-comfortable mattress. I woke up to the sound of birds, cattle, sheep and a blue sky and decided to take a few moments of bliss to soak it all in.

As I was doing so, facing the roof I, then realised that my battle wasn’t finished. I had knocked the majority of the goblins and a few ogres I needed to finish them off.

Quickly, I swung my legs sideways to the floor and tried to get up. Yet just as I tried I was stopped by a sharp pain in my the side of my lower abdomen. It was like a thousand knives were stabbing me in that one spot.

However I had an idea of what to do. “System?” I asked

“Yes Host?” the System replied inquisitively inside my head.

“Is there any way to speed up my healing process?”

“Yes, you can buy a healing Ki skill for 1000 DBP that can heal almost anything (except fatal injuries) or you can buy Senzu Beans for 200 DBP each.”

“Senzu Beans!” I yelled with a bit of excitement in my voice

“Of course they’re in the category that God added called ‘Equipment’.”

“God added a category?” I yelled, while being very surprised.

“Yes.” The system responded emotionlessly and unwavering.

“Ya know he’s a lot less of a dick than I thought.” As I said this a dignified and domineering voice said.

“You thought I was a DICK!?” Instantly I recognised it as god.

“Yeah I mean: poverty, torture, malnourishment, do I need to go on?” I said confidently. Then I was shut down.

“Look, not even I can comprehend a lot of it but the basics are that existence or the universe or whoever/whatever is above me does not allow me to directly intervene with the world or its inhabitants.I know you might me mad at me because of your past but-.”

“Never talk about my past again or I will kill you.”

“But I’m God you ca-.”

“I can and I will; I don’t know when or how but I will I’ll ascend to god k,i or higher, or whatever it takes to kill you I will do it.”

“O-ok.” God stuttered a she replied to me. Now, I would usually love to excessively brag but I was way to angry and in to much pain to even move nevermind argue with god.

“Now what does the ‘Equipment’ category consist of?” I asked trying to learn more about my system and source of my power that I rely on to survive in this world.

“Well it’s got; the dragon balls (10,000DBP), the namekian dragon balls (20,000DBP), the super dragon balls 1000,000DBP,power scouter 5DBP, clothes (any) 3 DBP, clothes (durable enough to not get destroyed by anything short of world-ending),food (any)1DBP, saibamen 200DBP, water 1DBP and of course senzu beans for 200DBP each.

“Those clothes make you invincible but they’re only 100 DBP each?!” I said confused and shocked.

“No, the clothes are indestructible but you can still get hurt, just that the clothes can’t get damaged.”

“Ah I see that does make more sense then an extremely cheap cheat to near-indestructibility.”

“Yeah it does, now what do you want to do?”

“Well first off, I want to buy five senzu beans please.”

“Ok, system?”

“Yes God?”

“Your host would like to purchase senzu beans. Will please explain to him how to do so?”

“Of course it is my job to obey my host’s” will to the best my ability, so this will be no problem.”

So, just like that a blue screen appeared. The screen was entitled ‘Equipment’, and of course it was filled with all of the items and sentient beings (saibamen) that god had listed in his previous explain of my new category that he had added.

After this I tapped on ‘Senzu Beans’ and then below senzu beans it said ‘quantity- 1 +’. I, then upped the quantity to 5 and bought them which costed me 1000 of my 2,500DBP. I felt a bit empty and depressed because I spent the majority of my points in an instant and they were just gone.

Just as I pressed buy 5 senzu beans in a brown pouch (like they have in the anime to carry around the senzu beans) appeared in my hand in an instant. I immediately opened the bag and there they were the green beans that I had seen many times in one of my favourite animes (too many times to be honest).

While dazed, I gazed at the beans inside of the bag for a full minute before I eventually snapped myself out of it and grabbed one. I quickly ate it, it didn’t really taste of anything but I could definitely feel my energy replenishing and my injuries healing.

I was thoroughly enjoying this sudden surge of energy and light feeling of my body like I was floating. I then went into the skill section/category since I had felt I was weak even if in the fight I only collapsed of exhaustion and didn’t receive any real injuries. Though I didn’t even have any energy attacks so I felt exposed.

When I got to the skill category I pressed on the ‘kamehameha’ skill for 300DBP, then it came up with ‘buy? Y/N’ and I obviously pressed on Y. Then information flooded into my head and I know how to form and use the kamehameha.

While being extremely excited about my new skill, I then realised that I needed to go and finish off the goblins and ogres that I had left unconscious outside of the village. I quickly got up now that the pain had gone. I ran towards the door and I was a lot faster than before (in my fight with the ogres and goblins).

When I opened the door I was relieved to see the village working as normal and no one in my sight wasn’t injured. I started walking around the village, looking for Rose and asking around to see if someone had seen her.

Eventually I met someone that said they had seen Rose walking towards the direction of the well with a bucket in her hand. Apparently the well was in the center of the village; so I asked him for directions, to which he gave me them, so I started making my way towards it.

When I finally got there, there she was, the most beautiful woman I had seen in my life extracting water from the well. Even doing such a menial task she looked so damn sexy.

I snuck up behind her and said “Guess who.” In response she said

“Nyaa. Aren’t you supposed to cover my eyes when you say that?”

“Whoops.” I said with no emotion or remorse in my voice. You’re probably wondering what I was covering/holding. It was her tits. I’m not going to lie to you and I’m not regretful in any way. After all I’m just a red blooded male.

Rose then turned to face me with her smooth beautiful hands around my neck and mine around her waist. “Well, my saviour you finally woke up. Now what?” She said temptingly while looking me up and down.

That was it, I couldn’t take it anymore, I kissed her and we kissed for roughly about a minute. I was the one who pulled away; I mean we probably would have carried on all day because I could tell she didn’t want it to end.

However I had stuff to do I told Rose to gather all the villagers to the front of the village where I would be waiting.

When everyone in the village got to the front they all started asking questions and praising me etc, etc. I asked for silence. To which everyone quieted down to listen to what I had to say.

My back was turned from them and I raised my arm up in the air, clenched my fist and said

“I, Xen King, the wandering martial artist now declare this village as my territory and I because of this I will protect it till the end.”
