Chapter 10: My Strength

Another attack by another army from Louxtin Kingdom. Everything about the first and second army are very similar. The number of soldiers they had, the equipment they wear and others are all so similar.

Of course there are differences, like their height, size, face and many more. However, the most notable difference was their cultivation. The commander was a rank 6 xiantian cultivator……

“Both of you, leave now! We’ll take care of this.” Helto shouted.

There was not a single disagreement from the other bandits. All of them were nodding their heads and asking us to escape.

“All of you are really kind people...” I said as I walked towards the army.

I ignored everything I heard and continued walking, one step at a time. Just when they were a few feets away from me, a sword appeared in my hand as I dashed forward.

Again, this attack technique was used. Not caring about the incoming attack, I aimed my sword at his neck.

“S**t!” The commander forcefully pulled his sword back to block my attack. “Get your asses here and kill that kid!”

“Yes commander!”

The soldiers surrounded me and started to attack. Though they were all weak, quantity can defeat quality, it would not be easy to defeat them unless I use my trump card.

A long while later, the fight was still ongoing.

The results were:

-me ~ getting minor injuries

-enemy ~ commander getting minor injuries, 47 deaths, many injured

“Wow, brother is really strong.” Tianhua said with shock written all over her face.

“Did you not know about it?” Helto asked with his mouth wide open. If he had known that I was this strong, he wouldn't have bothered trying to help.

She shook her head, as if saying that she did not know.

“All of you, attack the others! I'll hold him back!” The commander shouted. He knew that if this goes on, the one that would be victorious is me.

“Despicable!” (Me)

“We’ll take care of those that will come, so don't lose concentration and focus on fighting!” The bandits readied their weapons and prepared to fight. Though they were all afraid, none of them were willing to leave their friends behind. A firm determination could be seen from their eyes.

“Alright then.”

Without any more interference, I battled without restrain. All my attacks were aimed at his weak points. My attacks overwhelmed him so much that he could only focus on defence and not attack.

“You're worthy to meet my strongest move. Tiger Pierce!”

The commander’s sword emitted out light as he dashed towards me. Strong. I couldn't help but admit it. I can't destroy it with my current strength.

[Berserk]

My eyes turned red.

With my Str, Agi and Vit doubled, I parried his attack.

“Clang!”

His sword broke……

“Do you have any last words?” I said with my sword beside his neck.

“It was a great fight…...”

*Slice*

On his face was a bright smile.

I started a bloodbath. With the commander dead, all of them are equivalent to ants in front of me. In a short while, I killed more than half of them and captured a few too. As for the remaining soldiers, I decided not to chase as it would only be a waste of time.

Those that were captured were tied up and put in a one line formation.

“Hello there brothers, shall we have some fun?”

After saying that, I plucked out their fingernails one by one. They screamed in pain and kept asking me to just kill them off, but how could I do so? I need to give them their rewards for all the evil deeds they’ve done. After plucking, I cut off their fingers.

“Don't worry so much, I'll let you all receive death soon. As long as you eat finish the ten fingers that were chopped off from your hands, I'll let you die. If you don't, then I'll give you more presents.” I said with a sly smile on my face. If there wasn't any blood on my body and face, I would have looked like a innocent little kid.

Hearing the word presents, they shuddered and quickly moved their mouths towards their fingers laid In front of them and started chewing. After they ate finish their meal, I killed them.

“Brother, must you really...do this?” She asked in fear.

“I wanted to make it worst……”

“No, please……”

“I'm sorry, and I promise you that I will never do it again unless necessary.”

Hearing that, she brightened up a bit and asked, “Really?”

I nodded my head and gave her a hug. Not sure if that would comfort her, but it's better than nothing right?

I hope what I did will strengthen her mentality. The world is a cruel place…...torture isn’t something uncommon. She can't shake in fear while trying to kill murderers when she sees what cruel things a human can do to another human. A moment of fear can cause one’s death after all, so it would be better to let her understanding how cruel the world can be earlier.

At night, it was decided that the first night watch would be done by me, and everyone else went to sleep.

A few hours later.

“You did not have to act so cruel right? Why did you do that?”

So it was Helto……

“If you were me, would you do what I did?”

“Of course I won't, it would be……”
