A black hallway of darkness without a single sight of light. Yuu walked down the hallway unable to speak nor take control of his body's movement. Continuously walking down in a straight line with a hallway that has no end. A magical dash of light appeared out of nowhere, shining brightly at Yuu's face.

The more steps Yuu took, the brighter the light became. All of a sudden while walking down the hallway, golden chains appeared from the light. Grabbing Yuu and pulling him into the room, Yuu entered a bright white room with a child standing above Yuu's Zoldier sword.

The child smiled at Yuu with his black long back hair covering his face. It looked like he hasn't had a haircut for ages. Opening his mouth, he looked at Yuu and said with a deep breath

"When are you going to give me my body, mister?" The boy said.

The boy waiting for Yuu to respond, Yuu stood still quietly without saying a word.

"Why aren't you responding to me, Yuu?"

"You never once responded to me or even say a single word to me. "

"All I ever wanted was a someone I can talk to, or look after me like my mummy...But you aren't her or anything I want!"

"If you don't want to talk to me or get to know me then fine. But for living me alone with all these years. You can only summon me out once every 24hours for only five minutes. If I had I chose to make it less I would!"

"Just go away and leave me alone. I don't ever want to see your face!" The boy said while sitting down in the corner crying.

The golden chains appearing again, grabbing Yuu's arms and legs. It wrapped around his neck, and body tightly. While pulling him into the emptiness of darkness.

Yuu woke up once outside the boy's room. Yuu taking a large quick inhale and exhale, while the sunlight shines brightly onto his face. An unknown boy leaning against the pillar, while looking down at Yuu, he said

"You're finally awake?"

"Don't have to talk with a scary dark tone all the time, Natami!"

"When have I gave you permission to address me by my first name?"

"You don't have to. I choose how I want to talk to people, and if you don't like it, then too bad for you!"

"Guys stop talking, you're making my head hurt," Yuu said

"You missed a lot of things after Zeus finished his speech about the real test about to begin. Seems like when you called out your sword it must have sucked up all your Zen Dou Li energy."

"What is Zen Dou Li?"

"Zen Dou Li is the energy power of a person. So if you have a high Zen Dou Li, it means you have a strong amount of magic power. Each person has a unique Zen Dou Li meaning they can come with different power level when you're born. "

"I think I understand it now. Thanks, Natami for the information. Another question I want to ask is why Natami is all of a sudden hanging out with us?"

"It's not like I had a choice to be in this group. The gods choice different people and put them in different groups in order to fight against a D rank Demon for our real entrance exam."

"We are fighting a demon?" Yuu said while his eyes glow yellow like a star interested and ready for a fight.

"Isn't that what I said?"

"No one asks what you to said Natami."

"No one asks you to speak."

"No, one asks you to breathe."

As they both started to go on with their nonsense. Zeus came up and shouted Yuu, Lucy and Natami's names out to be prepared to get teleported into the area where their exam will commence."

"Already?" Yuu said

"What happened to all that hype energy?"

"It's still there, I'm just choosing not to show it."

"In case you're wondering, we are the last group. Out of 66 teams of three people, only 49 passed. We are the last group so I expect us to make it 50 groups passed."

A portal appearing in the centre of the stadium. Yuu and the rest walked into the portal and were teleport into Venus where their fight will commence.

"Wow that's a big giant demon"

"Most low-class demons or spirits are really tall."

Yuu coming up with a plan, he was about to announce it to Lucy and Natami his idea, until he saw Lucy frozen in place. Waving his hand in front of her eyes, she showed no sign of reaction or movement.

"Lucy is everything okay?" Yuu said

"Don't bother talking to her or try on getting her attention. Right now she has fallen into the demon's trick called 'Nightmare'."

"Nightmare?"

"Nightmare is a move all the demons used in order to use their opponent's worst fear or sin come to life. If the magic works, they will automatically be teleport into an endless loop of their worst nightmare until they die. For those that it doesn't work on, it is either that they have conquered their sin or fear like me for an example, or have no memories of their worst moment in life. So what we're seeing right now is the demon's true appearance."

"Is there anywhere possible way to get out of a nightmare?"

"There is a way, the first one is that we kill the demon that put them in the nightmare, or them overcoming it, but it's really unlikely. Only three angels in Heaven were able to get out of it on their own. The three people were Michael, Gabriel and Raphael."

"Then make it four because there's no way Lucy will fail. And if so we will be there to kill that giant ugly creature. Also, now that I think about it, why isn't the demon attacking us?"

"Probably because he is feeding off Lucy's emotion in order to get stronger. Demons usually intend on running away or charging up when facing a powerful opponent".

"Why don't we take this opportunity to attack him while his guard Is down?"

"You're free to attack him if you want, but I'm not getting involved until the demon proving to be on my level."

"So you're not going to help save Lucy?'

"She is the idiot that thought it would be a good idea entering Nescoon without overcoming her fears or sin."

"I would kill you right here and now as you stand for talking bad about her in front of my presents. But luckily for you, I have to kill this demon before dealing with you."

Rushing towards the low-class demon, Yuu whispered to himself 'Awaken'. His sword coming out of his chest, while the golden chains holding the sword burst apart. Something out of the original happened while Yuu called out his sword. His hair began to develop black streaks growing out from the crown. Yuu not noticing that his appearance change, he quickly grabbed his sword and dashed at the demon.

The 60'11 foot tall demon feared Yuu's power and tried to escape. By the time the demon got the chance to turn around, Yuu appeared in front of the demon, and said,

"Where are you off to?"

The demon trying to stump on Yuu with his foot, Yuu quickly avoided the demon's attack and jumped up into the sky. Reaching the same height as the demon, Yuu felt all the power racing inside of him. Pointing his fist in front of the demon's forehead, Yuu moved one finger out of his hand, and with only one flick to the demon's forehead. Yuu sent the demon flying across the ground. The demon trying to escape, Yuu quickly and swiftly cut off the demon's legs to stop it from running. Yuu appearing in front of the demon, he shoved his sword into the demon's eye and said,

"Oi Oi, why are you still alive? Can't you see the power gap between me and you? Do me a favour and kill yourself so that I don't have your blood on my hands. Not even Neptune himself would be able to wash away the blood stain I already have on me from you."

The demon bleeding out tears, it whispered while struggling to speak the same language as Yuu:

"Y-Yo-You're a be-betrayer t-to the-the demon cl-an".

Yuu stabbing the demon's eye deeper, he jumped up on top of the mountain and decided to charge up to show the demon the difference in power. A red fires aura forming a dragon twice the size of the demon.

The Gods and audience looked at Yuu with shock thinking if this boy was truly the perfect creation from the Goddess Of Creation and the God Of Destruction. Zeus grinding his teeth, while the other Gods and audience stared closely at Yuu's power.

The demon trying to crawl with his hands away from Yuu. There was no escape nor hope for the demon. Yuu raising up his sword, the power of the fire of Yuu was all channelled into his sword. The fires power making Yuu's sword beam brightly up in the sky. About to end the demon with one last attack... All of a sudden, Yuu's power and sword vanished.

Yuu realised that he ran out of time using his power. The demon finally regenerates its legs and notices that Yuu's power disappeared from existence. looking at Yuu with a smile while standing back up above Yuu. Yuu tried to escape, but the demon caught up with Yuu and kicked him right in the back, breaking his spine. Sending Yuu flying into the volcano, it looked like it was the end of Yuu.

Volume 1- Chapter 4- Battle Of Demons

Lucy looking at her sister while she was on the ground calling for a hero to appear. There was no way of her getting up by herself because she is disabled. Lucy too scared to do anything, but watch as she gets eating by the demon.

Lucy vomited from disgust after seeing her sister be torn limp by limp by that demon. The vomit stain on the ground, giving out her location. It was how she died with her sister that day.... Having a repeat of the same moment. As much as she wants to believe it's not real. A tiny piece inside her is declining that fact.

Repeating that moment again. This time it was different than the one before. Instead of the demon coming towards her. A fairy appeared and erased the demon with a tiny bit of fairy dust. The fairy looking exactly like her sister, it said

"What are you doing here? Didn't I tell you to leave me behind before I died?"

"You did but..."

"Don't but me because If you had listened to me and ran away. You wouldn't have died."

"Elizabeth..."

"Don't Elizabeth me. I will deal with you later once we kick that two horned, red, ugly bastard straight down to hell where it came from. Or am I going to do all the work again?"

Wiping off the tears off her face, Lucy said

"Try not to die again, okay."

"I should be saying the same thing to you. Anyways, your boyfriend is hot."

"He isn't my boyfriend!" Lucy shouted at Elizabeth while her face turned red.

"So he is single, ahh? I call dibs on him."

"Wait...No...Stop messing with me!!"

"Hahaha. You always were so easy to get inside your head. Especially with boys you liked."

"Anyways, how are we going to beat that monster?"

"Well... After I died, I was reincarnated into a fairy's body apart of the fairy clan. Then I was turned into a bow without having a memory nor clue on how I ended up as a weapon. But I still have memories of magic that you can use against demons."

"And what's that?"

Elizabeth whispering to Lucy's ear about the technique. It took Lucy long enough to finally wake up to reality.

"So the princess has finally woken up."

"Where's Yuu?"

"He is over there about to land into a lava. I thought he was strong, but I was badly mistaken. No wonder people call him..."

Before Natami could finish his sentence, Natami was slapped across the face by Lucy. Lucy quickly made a magical green ball, floating Yuu to safety. Lucy looking at Natami, she said

"You idiot! A person's life isn't something you can give away freely nor play with."

Lucy rushing over towards the demon. Natami touches his face while thinking about what Lucy said.

Lucy approaching the demon and seeing it's true form with her own two eyes. It was more ugly than she imagined. The monster looking at Lucy, it didn't hesitate to chase after her.

Lucy quick to pull out a piece of fairy dust from her bag, she blew it at the demon's chest. With one single dust touching the demo's chest. It Instantly leaving a giant hole in the centre of the demon's chest and sending it flying to the mountain with a bunch of rocks falling on him.

The students and Gods watching the fight, and being surprised at how she was able to kill a demon with one attack. Not even the top five students were able to do that.

Yuu bleeding from head to toe, struggling to breathe from the bad injuries he endured. Lucy summoned a giant flower, with a drop of water to heal up all his injuries.

The portal appearing right next to Natami. Yuu and Lucy made their way to the portal. Thinking the demon was dead, they were wrong once the monster raised up completely healed up from his injuries.

The demon's power raising incredibly fast, it already reaches up to a C-rank demon. Even though Yuu and Lucy are fully healed up, they had no Zen Dou Li energy in order to fight.

The portal disappearing. There was nowhere out for Lucy and Yuu. Thinking it was going to be the way their life will end once they saw the demon's foot hovering above them about to squash them...

In a blink of an eye, they disappeared. Natami putting them down on the ground far away from the demon.

"Natami?" Yuu said

"Don't worry about me. Right now you guys need a rest, so now let me be the hero and handle the rest."

Dashing towards the demon with a pile of wind being left behind him. He called out his sword from his chest saying,

"The blood of my bones. The power flowing into my veins. Come out Now, Lucas!"

A Trident appearing onto Natami's hand as he dashed towards the demon, cutting off the demon's legs before it had the chance to react. Every single piece of the demon's skin being cut off left and right in an instant, Natami slowly made his way towards the top as he tortures the demon by killing him slowly.

Stabbed the demon's eyes, showing the beast who the master is. He then proceeds to jump up in the air above the demon and focused all his Zen Dou Li energy into his arm. Using the power he had left, Natami throws his trident at the demon's skull. Leaving a giant hole in the centre of the demon's skull to the ground.

Natami making a giant bubble of holy water surrounding the demon. He watches as the demon's leftover pieces turn into ashes.

Eliminating the threat with ease, the portal appeared again. Yuu's team walking their way into the portal and hearing everyone cheering to them.

Tears going done Yuu's face as he thanks Lucy and Natami for helping him win. It was the first day Yuu has ever experience what it felt to finally have 'victory' in his life.
