After Figuring that going to an adventurer filled city might be too dangerous after all you decide to that it is worthwhile to at least try and find the only person in this world that knows of your existence thus far.

“Forgive me, My Lord, but shouldn’t somebody stay and protect this place?”

“There’s nothing to steal but my father’s corpse anyway.” You say dismissively, seeing that even the armor and weapons the bandits arrived with disappeared, confirming Ariadne’s information about it being an equipment summoner. Perhaps eventually finding such a summoner and getting him on your side would be of use. “And if the threat is coming from the outpost, I prefer to deal directly with the root of the problem.”

“As you wish, My Lord We will depart at once!” Ariadne rises to her feet, turns around and extends her hand in front of her, palm out.

An oval portal appears. Different shades of purple rise and fall in it, like a lava lamp. It’s just wide and high enough for you to go through one at a time.

Before departing you open your Status bar to inspect what the [Level up] granted you and—apart from a general increase in your game-like statistics—you see that you have an option to use a [Spell Point] to choose a new spell in either Warlock Specialization or Sexomancy. Or you can sacrifice that [Spell Point] to instead put it into one of the three available Traits. Every indication is that these Traits can only be leveled up by sacrificing spell points.
