《Royal Sorcerer》ch. 7 Training

It was time to really get down to business. I found Luk along with Grace and Tike oranizing The group of hybrids on a training assignment. I watched for a while to get a feeling for luk’s leadership skills. He seemed reasonably skilled at it. Not too surprising considering he made it clear his father has been forcefully training for this his whole life. He was brutal and relentless pushing the trainees to their limit but he always stopped from going too far. You could see the concern for his comrade in his eyes. I was more glad to have made him one of my vassals.
The training excercise went on for awhile longer with obvious progress. They were working basic spear drills until Luk finally noticed me and he approached me wanting to know why I came to visit and explained how i need him to spar and train with me so I could get an Idea for how to fight his brother. He agreed this made some basic sense and that he would help but he wanted to bring grace along for some reason. We had Tike take over the drills and went off to another courtyard picking up tamira along the way.
I explained to them that on my planet I come from a Nordic and Irish genealogy or bloodline as I explained to them. Based on that I had spent much of my teenage and years previously doing viking weapons traing. I was quite proficient with axes and especially throwing axes and knives being obsessed with them.
What I really needed was training in this cultivation and magic and especially how it affects my body. Plus I needed to do the most grueling workout session of my life.
They seemed to take all this in stride and luk told me to activate overdrive and attack him hand to hand. I was confused by what he was saying but before I could ask a question he had punched towards my face. I just barely managed to activate Overdrive and dive out of the way but he kept advancing walloping on me continuously. While I kept trying to block every blow, I read fantasy novels and finally I saw it. An opening so I directed all my energy to my first driving towards his solar plexus thinking the fight over only to have him knock the blow aside with apparent ease with a lightning covered hand. The next thing I know I am on the ground and everyone is laughing or at least trying to hold in laughter.

I got up and dusted myself off spitting blood to the side is that all you got.
A gave him a bloody grin as Tamira began casting healing spells. He just shook his head and got back in the ready position. This Onslaught continued much like the previous but this time i didnt fall for his feint and instead locked arms with him neither us able to move until I headbutted him causing him to stumble back. This time Tamira cast healing spells on both of us. He needed time to recover before he taught me his last trick for fighting his brother so I used that time to do a hundred situps a hundred push ups and went for a 10 k run.
When I got back I had tamira heal me again to take care of muscle tearing. I could tell this was already working. If I kept at this, I couldn’t even imagine what I would be able to do.
Finally Luk was ready to teach this trick which I quickly realized was just grounding the lightning or redirecting something i had already seen presented in an awesome tv show but he acted like the whole technique was sacred so I tried to Imitate reverence
Finally I told him to just throw a small bolt at me
It took some prodding and a lot ribbing but he finally sent off a small ribbon the size of my finger.
It hit my palm and traveled to the ground with no problem following my intent. I even noticed the greenery on the floor had grown. Interestingly this could have unforseen benifits.it was even easier than bouncing that first bolt had been.
I needed to know how Luks brother would use the environment to fight so I asked “ is that hsi primary fighting style” to which Luk shook his head and replied
“He shoots bolts while closing the distance and then is an entirely physical fighter “

That was intimidating so I asked what level he was and to my shock he had an even Higher level than his father had plus he had been training in his skills and body since he was a boy.
For the first time I considered running. Afterall How could I fight something that was that much stronger than me but my resolve firmed thinking of my mother who had passed on. She always taught me to fight for what's right no matter the cost. She taught me about my heritage and my ideals of love, compassion and acceptance. In her memory i would fight this battle and win so that i can try to end slavery on this world. I had begun to tear up so I wiped it away and told Luk We needed to train as hard as possible and then another struck me. I was close to leveling up and they said They needed to teach me about the cultivation aspect of it.
I wasn’t sure what i shoud do with my limited time so I figured I would spend the rest of the day training and healing with Luk and Tamira to boost my Physique. Then tomorrow I would learn about cultivation and find something to kill but first I decided to Pull up my stat sheet

Me and Luk practicted all kinds of fighting styles, even breaking out blunted axes and shields so I could train my specialty.
It was a little fun toying with him. I was quite proficient with this combo and knocked him on his ass more than once.
Finally we were both so exhausted that even with healing we could not go on so we retired to beds. I went to the top of the tower. There was no bed there but I carried one up and Alpha followed me dragging 3 beds by his jaw.
We got to the top and made a little nest out of the beds and I passed out only feeling Alpha curl around me protectively. I felt hopeful about tomorrow.

The watcher of universe and stuff.
The most devastating thing to an eternal being must be boredom. If nothing can change you, how can you yourself change? Sometimes you have to learn that the hard way. I should point out that there are multiple lead characters and they will all have their own personalities and motivations. While the story will focus more on our MC Trey, you can expect multiple POV switches. If you do not like POV switches, this might not be for you. My first book. If anyone will ever read this, be so kind as to leave a comment. Even, if all you say is an insult. As long as I can improve this work by your comment, it's all fine. One thing’s for sure. I will keep writing as if my reader can handle curse words without curling into a little ball and repeatedly saying: "Leave my safe-space alone, you monster". Therefore, you can expect some profanity.

I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
