《Royal Sorcerer》ch.2

I walked through the portal and immediately saw a lone elf standing next to complicated esoteric panel covered in runes I screamed at him “everyone else is dead shut the portal before that thing gets through'' he started rushing around pressing button and the portals slowly shut down shut down making a whirring noise while he was doing this I walked up behind him and and enhancing my muscles I clubbed him knocking him out. To be sure I cast Lay on hands and healed his brain injuries then I tied him up. I followed Tamira directions through the large structure I had entered into passing by many cages as I did.
They were filled with creatures of all different types of fantasy races but the one thing they all had in common was their collars. I reached out with my magic towards one collar but I couldn't break it.
So I kept moving going towards the commander's office I was lucky the fort was on a skeleton crew between their expedition and mandatory scouting mission from the kingdom
The fort was four stories and made of deep dark blue stone. I had always liked blue
Finally I found the commander's commander's office. I opened the door to see him killing an orc in a collar. He didn't even hear the door open so intent on his next victim .”mold earth" I said envisioning the stone spiking upwards through his Feet. he screamed in outrage and pain I said ‘overdrive’ while coursing magic through my enchantments and body and then i hit him in the side of the face uprooting him from the spikes and sending him crashing into the wall
He got up bloody and angry Lightning appearing in his hand
I dodged to the left trying to avoid this attack but he winged me sending my body convulsing for a second which is all it took for him to close the distance at which point he punched me in the stomach and against the wall. I spat out the words `` healing aura”along with a mouthful of blood. He came at me pummeling me lightning covered fists

I raised both hands creating shields that were filled with the intent of grounding, forcing his attack into the earth. I said “overdrive “ again reactivating every enchantment in the armor and filling every part of the body with energy filled with intent on strengthening and speed kicking off the wall and expanding the shield explosively outward with a burst of power throwing him back. I pulled the sword I had taken from the first elf I Kept the overdrive spell active knowing i was running out of magic I rushed him then empowering my whole body and tharmors enchantments taking almost my current pool
I raised my sword and at the top of it arc I used the last of my power to increase it weight as much as possible His eyes were wide as he gathered lightning in his for an attack but but too late.
I swung the sword into his right shoulder cleaving though it down all the way to his waist cutting him in half
Fuck that was hard like realy hard. Should have expected as much from essentially a boss of the area. I hoped he had some good loot. I began moving towards His body intent on collecting my loot when I heard a raspy voice “If I may ask… What do you plan to do with me?”
“I came to this world to free all those who were enslaved, that includes you” I then asked “Do you know how to unlock the collars of the slaves here?” He responds “The man you killed has a master key to all the slaves to this fort, with it hypothetically speaking you can free all the slaves from this fort” I picked through the man's possessions finding another sword and a strange axe that I pocketed I then pulled of his bag and found what I think the prisoner had been referring to . A polished black key that i could sense a connection to all the collars in the fort.. I walked over to the prisoner and said” I'm going to free you now. He looked doubtful but with a spark of hope. I raised the key to his neck and willed it to unlock and it snapped open

It revealed pale flesh and the orc elf hybrid I think took a deep breath with a look of disbelief on his face. “What can I do to repay?” I thought about his question and asked “Would you be willing to fight to free others ?” His eyes shined with tears as he “ I would.” “Then make an oath with me to unite our strength and goals” I told him. He nodded and began speaking ” I pledge to my life, my loyalty and my magic from this day until My Last”
I responded “I accept your pledge , you will always have a place in my heart and as my vassal”
At which point I pointed to the sword tattoo on my shoulder“I mark this symbol as the link of our bond between magic and soul to unite our might” The sword appeared on his arm glowing while glowing on mine as well. To his credit he did not make sound
I opened up my tab menu for my new vassal
3rd vassal-jaluk

I decided I should look at my total gains. Healing having drained me of most of my injuries and magic but it was trickling back in. I said status

Traits gained- increased regeneration of stamina
I was amazed by the gains my body, mind and presence went up. The mind makes sense; it was what I had leveled up after all and the body was probably a result of overexerting my muscles and then healing them over and over again.
Finally I remembered there was someone else in the room “so Jaluk you know what I’m just gonna call you Luk from now on ok with you” i said and he nodded. I looked at the dead commander to see him spitting on the elfs corpse.
‘Did you know him i asked.” “ yes he was my father “ ahh i see then why was he about to kill you “. ``You mistake what you saw, he was training me to fight in his army. ‘Then why didn't you jump to his defence.”
His eyes practically glowed with hatred” because he does not see me as a son simply as an asset from the day I was born but now I will fight for a cause I believe in and die a free man.
Do you think it will be this easy to get the other prisoners on our side?
He looked contemplative before responding ``any pureblood will likely wanna go home” he looked at me sideway while asking “is that possible?” “It should be I kept the portal mage alive for that reason” he looked please
“Good “ better off without them.
I frowned, confused saying ’’Your a half orc why would you want them gone.”
Because we're not pure orcs, we aren't accepted and others like me are better off setting up our own civilization where we can have diversity without prejudice.
I was moved by his dream and it seemed like he really believed in it too

Sometimes, I am able to get out earlier chapters. Note: This story is not a typical fanfiction. It is mainly an authentic work. This story only uses monster names/appearances, names of locations and the orb-matching strategy combat system from the app game on android/ios. The rest is original, which means prior knowledge for readers is not required. The app game has no plot, and this work also has no relation whatsoever to the anime aired starting in 2016. The goal was to create a story using these monsters, giving them personalities and purposes beyond just images and stats.
