Chapter 16: Awakening, First Dark Pulse (2)
Leiming received two giant blows. The dark fire which invaded his body, alongside the sudden emergence of the divine serpent within his Dantian released against his wishes. On his knees, his view obscured by the dust cloud, all he can do is to hope nothing else goes wrong. However, deep within he felt something was off about the figure in the dust cloud.
‘oooo this baby serpent is so cute and obedient why don’t you hand over the rest of him?’ the voice carried a tinge of envy.
Leiming still on his knees, brought about words ‘Wenrou, is that you? Stop talking like that. I am not in any...’ as he was speaking, Leiming felt a sudden piercing pain flare inside his brain resulting in him closing his eyes for a moment due to the sheer pain.
Expecting this development, Dark Wenrou from within the cloud produced a malicious smile as his body vaulted from the trees within his radius that began to change into black ash as he came into contact with them! As the dust cloud parted from the sudden leap, blowing away, revealing a figure shrouded in inky coal like aura.
Within a mere few breaths, Wenrou was immediately upon Leiming, who was still clutching the pain. Feeling the instantaneous change in the wind, as well as the shadow which approached him with extreme speed. Sense of danger struck him.
Still pain stricken, his first action was to defend as exerting pressure to launch an attack would be ill-advised. Moving his body into a defensive posture, his left arm came up, guarding his knelt body almost completely.
‘hihihihihiii, lets see how capable Wenrous new daddy is! HERE. I. COME. MISTER. NEWDADDY.’ Leiming clenched harder the moment he picked up the words said. As contact was made, a crashing sound of trees toppling flittered the woods. Dark Wenrou borrowing the striking momentum scurried into the Dust Clouds protection. Leiming, now a few metres from the previous position was grasping onto a half smashed tree. Rotating his Qi, slowly subsiding the pain in his body to regain his wits and composure. His left arm, if not for protecting himself would have been snapped in half. Inwardly, he was shocked, thinking that it was impossible for somebody who has just awakened their Qi, to have such powerful attacking capability.
Thinking of ways to buy time, Leiming announced his thoughts ‘Wenrou! Immediately come to your senses! Your body won’t be able to handle all of that Qi. You’ll burn yourself up, and die a fool’s death!’ but nothing replied back. The dust cloud continued to grow, enlarging, eventually encapsulating the whole forest. All that could be seen at this point, is a few metres ahead.
Sounds of disintegrating trees and earth filled the environment, coupled by the heinous laughter of Dark Wenrou. This was all a giant game to him. He just couldn’t get enough of it. Leiming, now partially recovered was still nowhere near his full power, but he was somewhat prepared, within the dust cloud up above every so often a flash of lightning would illuminate the sky, piercing the Dust Cloud.
Leiming’s game plan was simple, if he couldn’t stop Wenrou in his current condition, all he will have to do is wait for the ‘Flame God of the Crimson Planets’ to return and help him. ‘Why are you hiding yourself? What have you done with Wenrou?’
‘oof always talking about Wenrou! Whats so special about wenrouwenrouwenrou. Daddy issues wenrou, mummy issues wenrou, damaged body wenrou. Jesus fucking Christ his life is so mundane and boring, i am him and even i feel bored inside. He needs to get fucking real with himself!’ sounding displeased, Dark Wenrou was able to spot Leiming. Understanding that Leiming was regulating his breathing, Dark Wenrou gave a sneer and kicked off two branches from a nearby half burnt tree, holding them in a javelin posture.

Leiming was now more or less capable of defending and attacking properly. All that was left, was a tingling residual pain in his left arm, from the terrible protection employed by him earlier. Still, his body was in no condition to go toe-to-toe with Dark Wenrou, as he needed proper time to recover. The Divine Serpent, wanted to be separated from the rest of it no longer. Constantly thrashing and raging from within the Dantian. He was essentially fighting from within to contain this Divine Serpent, and fighting his pained body to protect against Dark Wenrou.
As Leiming was about to reply back to Dark Wenrou, his intuitions kicked in. Able to feel an extremely fast incoming projectile heading to his direction. He kicked off the ground vaulting to a higher part of the smashed tree he was holding onto. As the first projectile, pierced into the ground a looming danger of death lurked about as Leiming immediately looked back up from the direction where the Spear came from, as another was mere seconds away from penetrating his body and nailing him into the tree!
Leiming reacted as fast as he could, throwing his left fist out which just barely came into close proximity of the spear. Before Leiming’s fist made contact with the spear, unreserved amount of Qi thundered out! The spear burst into dust upon initial contact. The flying direction of the spear, and the Qi that slammed into it from Leiming’s end made the tree branch disintegrate into dust, flying straight at Leiming with even more speed! No matter how fast Leiming was, how could he have reacted to this or even known Wenrou was capable of such tactics? The first spear was a decoy taking advantage of Leiming’s chaotic state of mind.
As the Bark Dust flew onto his body small bits landed around his eye’s ridges. His body moved into a protective motion, which left him momentarily vulnerable. Dark Wenrou hiding within the dust cloud, erupted from his spot, kicking of the nearby ground shooting towards Leiming with speed! ‘Your no good! Hihihii didn’t even see that useless technique what sort of martial arts master are you? Are you used to fighting 1on1 in fair conditions haaahaa. You’re just fucking useless! Roll over and die you idiot! OoF! HERE. I. COME!’ Dark Wenrous most joyous laughter resounded out as he neared his target.
Leiming could only feel anger well up inside him, unable to contain his fury any longer not worrying about his hurt body, Qi came gushing out of his body, like an overflowing river! Pushing of the pieces of Bark Dust around the ridges of his eyes, he was just able to catch a glimpse of Dark Wenrou approach him, noticing his body in a punching motion. Leiming moved to receive as well.
Both their punches made contact as a low thudding sound could be heard from the clash. Both only momentarily halted in place before, Leiming’s right fist, changed into a palm, sliding past Wenrou’s wrist, grabbing it! His Left hand, also in a fist motion launched towards Wenrou’s abdomen when! ‘Oof... Master? What’s going...’ it was like Wenrou transformed back! The inky coal like Qi had dispersed, the chaotic atmosphere quietened down. Wenrou genuinely looked like he had reverted from his crazed state! Leiming, could only halt his attack, his face plastered with hesitancy, a look of relief moved across his face.
‘HAHAAAHAAA. GOD DAMNIT! NO FUCKING WAY. FUCK ME SIDEWAYS! HE FUCKING FELL FOR IT HAHAAAAAAAAAA. NO WAY WOWWOWOWOW. KEKEKEKEKEKE. JAJA! JEJEJEJE! WKWKWKWKWKWK’ The moment of laughter was fast, and immediately interrupted the silence ripping it apart the tension as Dark Wenrou’s left fist also blasted out. Leiming already in an extremely angered state, was hitting his zero patience mark. Although he felt like this, he still kept his caution up waiting to receive Wenrou’s attack. ‘ooo did you do it like this? Let’s see’ Dark Wenrous fist was already close to Leiming, the closer it got the more caution Leiming experienced. Leiming’s palm in a blocking motion, prepared to stop the fist, like an iron wall.

A thunderous roar boomed out of Dark Wenrous fists upon contact with Leiming’s palm. Leiming who received this attack, felt his palm numb before it was blasted back. Leiming’s face filled with unwillingness to believe, ‘He copied the atta..?’ He muttered in a low tone.
Before Leiming could finish his thought, Dark Wenrou cut in front of him and his crying voice filled the air, ‘FUCK! It hurts so fucking much. Fuck you and fuck this skill, fuck this goddamn planet! I WANT TO GO BACK HOME. FUCKING WENROU AND HIS DADDY FUCK IT HURRRTS SO MUCH. Owiee OwIEEE! FUCKMYLIFE WHY DID I COME OUT HEREEEeeEE!’
Dark Wenrou was still face to face with Leiming, but unlike before, he didn’t contain a hint of savagery or malicious intent. However, their gazes met and since this was the first time Leiming was able to look Dark Wenrou eye to eye he noticed something astonishing. Dark Wenrous Iris was golden black, and the white around the eye was completely darkened. Not a speck of white could be seen. Although this was shocking, what was even more impressive was that Wenrou’s pupil had enlarged by a greater length than an average persons’ pupil! Leiming was slightly able to deduce now how Dark Wenrou replicated the ability! The Iris contains the ability to see Qi. Although that is what the Iris can see, if a person is born in a special clan they will eventually develop their clan’s special traits. Some clans have special eye sights which contribute to their martial arts, providing them with exponential advantages over their respective enemies.
Wenrou’s pupil has enlarged, which means he is able to directly see the flow of Qi, from Meridian to Meridian. If this is true, it must be a trait special to the Shenyuan Clan! Coupled with Wenrou’s 12 Dark Pulses, once he matures just what kind of Martial Artist would he be?!
Wenrou slowly woke up from his slumber, waking up the black around his Iris reverted back to white. His golden black Iris and pupil returned to just plain black. He looked up at Leiming, his body no longer under the influence of Qi he slowly began to drift down before Leiming caught him. Holding onto him, Leiming could feel the explosive dark Qi, somehow didn’t injure him too much. As if it was helping him, it enabled Wenrou to integrate with the Dark Pulse. Otherwise, even with Leiming’s abilities even he wouldn’t be able to easily integrate the Dark Pulse into a body that is Qi deficient!
Leiming looked down towards his left arm, completely shattered from his hand to the elbow. A thunder strike, able to shatter my whole arm... only after seeing it once. His eyesight alone couldn’t have done that...
Closing Wenrou’s eyes, he picked him back up and moved towards Ban Ban when overhead the crashing thunders and scorching planets battled. He could only give an apologetic look. The Divine Serpent is of the Lighting Element! The Lightning Element has no natural counter, and is the most unruly element in the whole galaxy! It is the most deadly element once it begins to rage. However, it is lucky that the Divine Serpent wasn’t fully released, just a partial imprint escaped, and wanted to wreak havoc having been locked up for so long.
Even though a partial of the power escaped, it wouldn’t affect the Divine Serpent in slumber, what was lost could be recovered through Qi Breathing and Element infusion. Wouldn’t even take long to fully recover what Dark Wenrou absorbed. However, what Leiming wouldn’t believe is there was now a replicated Dark Lighting within Wenrou’s Dantian, chained around the Dark Dantian in his abdomen.
--
A fiery glint flashed in the sky, piercing the White Lightning Serpent in the sky. A figure coalesced with a frown. This Divine Serpent suddenly erupted with such ferocious force that it could decimate half this planet if it wished. Something must have happened down below?
Chihong’s body blazed about the sky, the fiery cape grew greater and greater as two fist sized scorching planets moved from the cape placing directly above her palms. Her palms changed into a fist, as the balls of fire floated above the knuckles. Slowly, growing. The Divine Serpent in the sky, noticing the pressure building up, swam about in the air as it readied its body! Its body, migrating from one space to another before it locked onto the crimson figure, opening its mouth as Lightning began to draw from its body into its mouth. This action seemed to have caused it to grow smaller and smaller, soon it was the size of a sail boat in the sky.
Chihongs Scorching Planet Fist, instead grew in size, now it was the size of two small houses on the ends of her knuckles. The fire planets drawing power from her cape of scorching planets, they began to rotate vigorously! It takes a while to explain this, but it all happened within mere breaths! The Divine Serpent, already a bit smaller than a mid-sized sail boat, opened its roar as a blinding bright flash screamed out of its mouth; a long beam of lighting rushing towards Chihong!
The blinding light didn’t even take a second to reach Chihong! As it moved, it burnt the surrounding air to a crisp! Smoke filled the sky! Chihong looking head on, facing this lighting roar she lifted both her fists up to greet this Divine Serpent! A cold smile hung on her lips! Chihongs body exploded, like a dormant volcano as two ball sized scorching planets beneath her feet kept rotating with extreme speed tunnelling her through the atmosphere! The more she moved, the more fed her technique became. Feeding off the surrounding air it grew even greater!
Her fists raised the planets hovering over her knuckles kept growing and growing! Drawing so much power from the atmosphere, the whole half of the planet was in a drought all the plants and wildlife either suffocated or dried up to a crisp! Both the Scorching Planets came into contact with the Lighting Roar, quickly rotating and grinding the incoming Lightning! Each grind reduced the Lightning bit by bit as bits of the Lightning separated and crashed into the ground transforming the tree or rock into Lightning crystals!
Chihong kept ploughing her way through the roar. Her body moving extremely fast and powerfully through. Chihong, in the blink of an eye made it to the mouth of the Divine Serpent! As soon as the Scorching Planet Fist crashed into the Divine Serpent, a moment of disruption emitted from the dyeing Divine Serpent that ran through the whole planet. Shaking the planet, a loud vibration lasted for the entirety of two breaths before coming to a halt. The surrounding school masters within the planet had balls of sweat pouring from their heads, they were scared stiff. All they could see was fierce clashes of red and white warring in the clouds, unable to comprehend just what existences could produce such destructive power!
