《Beta Zero》5-Because, Magic! (fixed)

Warm sunlight filtered through the dappled leaves of a massive apple tree greeted Wren's eyes as he exited the darkness. The sudden return of gravity nearly brought him to his knees causing him to stumble around a bit before he recovered equilibrium.
Clean air? Check. Lack of obvious threats? Check. Presence of nearly obnoxiously positive but secretly bad-ass teenage girl and the enemy of all single, average looking guys dead weight? Not che- correction...check.
Dual, popping sounds of displaced air revealed the the peacefully sleeping faces of Wren's grudgingly accepted companions followed by the opening of his interface with an automated message.

Okay. Essentially I'm a pet class that's good at making stuff with all that essence mumbo-jumbo. Expenditure is greater than recovery? The Life Essence thing is kinda weird but having any kind of gain offsetting natural loss is good I guess. Seems a bit scary low but there's likely ways to fix that so I'll look into it later.
Percentage per minute on essence recovery seems a little more intuitive than arbitrary numbers and as I get stronger, (at least I hope I will,) the SYSTEM will automatically readjust power expenditure on abilities but it'll make it hard to compare myself to others directly...guess that doesn't matter much now.
Stats are pretty simple, as long as you ignore the hidden race crap: Strength's little better than an average person, Endurance's nearly double, Dexterity's pretty good, Perception's a little lack luster so scouting's out, Mind's probably just a bit better than my original self's, Intuition's a bit like wisdom but with a psychic undertone and it's damn good for a human but crappy for whatever I'm really supposed to be, Charisma sounds like a shiesty stat to me but no matter how suspicious it is, at least it's good. Spirit seems to be the supernatural version of strength and the more I look into it, the more confusing it becomes...Is something wrong with my Spirit?
Abilities
Arcane Summoning(Class): Power and thought given form
Primordial Tulpa: The sprites are you. You are the sprites-Air, Earth, Light, Void (space?), Water [1% AE base PPH each]
Utility Tulpa:They are you, etc.-Spectral Servant [Same + up to .5 AE PPM, Appx. 50 Lb limit], Spectral Beast of Burden [ As before with Appx 100 Lb limit]
Combat Tulpa: Expressions of your fear and rage-[AE and Stamina consumption Variable]
Calling(Irregular): Devas, Devils and Demons, oh my!
(Unreadable): Strong but kinda scary Void Denizen [EE variable, 1% LE sacrificed at calling, 1% LE consumed each year if unused] Loyal for 'life'
Creation(Class/Profession Race): DIY
Inanimate Tulpa: your 'magic' is a Swiss Army Knife [AE variable]
Fabricate/Construct: Take stuff and make stuff with it [AE, EE and Stamina variable]
Materialize: Take your dreams and make them real [All Essence and Stamina variable * currently not recommended]
Imbue: Enchantment! [All Essence and Stamina variable * no learned recipes/models *currently not recommended]
Mendicant(Class, Title, Race): Beg, steal and borrow from the power of Life and the Maelstrom
Faith Healing- A saint may borrow a bit of the grace that brought them back to provide succor to the injured [Spirit catalyzed Stamina consumption
Reality's Edge Purification- Vaporize and obliterate harmful substances from willing subject [EE consumption variable]
(unreadable)-(unreadable) currently latent
Psionics (Race)
Weak Telekinetics- Lift with the Spirit not the back [5lb maximum]
Bonded Sending- Telepathically communicate with all bonded
Damn, that's a lot of crap for a beginner isn't it? Okay, So this Calling business was one of the surprise pop-ups. An entity slipped in a contract on me while I was in a rush. Wait, I have a little over an eight year death sentence!? I need to figure out this Life Essence business as soon as possible! Even materialize and imbue take a bit of LE. Damn skippy, it's not currently recommended!Looks like I can't really go ham with Fabrication/Construction either. Eldritch Essence recovery is slow as hell... Got something under Mendicant that's not readable. Wonder what the hell that is?
Perks
All Language(reward): Like Groogle Translate but more functional
Arcane Awaking(reward): You're a wizard, hairy!
Summoning Models(Reward): 5 sprites
Spatial Calculation Assistance(Reward): Dimensional mathematics? No problem!
Unique Class Progression Assistance(Reward): Essential class optimization tool
Unique Profession Progression Assistance(Reward): Essential profession optimization tool
Saint's Aura(Title): I can see ya halooo~Minor additional resistance to most negative status affects, Moderate resistance to mental and spiritual manipulation [Race synergy-High resistance to possession, life stealing and soul damaging abilities] Other spirit sensitive entities can more easily see your affiliations
(unreadable): (unreadable) currently latent
Spatial Calculation Assistance helps me with making stuff and makes teleporting safer, when I get it. Progression Assistance, of both kinds, gives me some free models and acts like an auto-correct but I need to figure things out on my own too and I probably shouldn't take what I know at face value. Ooh, a title granted perk, niice. Looks like it makes it more dangerous to pretend to be one of the 'baad guys' though... Another unreadable here too? Oh, they have something to with the second pop-up that I didn't get to read. Apparently, my new Race comes with much bigger containers for spiritual force and Life Essence. The pitiful additional amount I received from the time I spent in transition and what transferred from my original form, while fine in my old human body are little more than gas fumes in this one. That sounds bad.
Titles and Flaws
Participant: gives access to the SYSTEM ( Sub- dimensional, Divergence [Y] and Source to Temporal Equity Management) This title, don't leave home without it!
Returned Saint: You died for a noble cause but a martyr's work is never done.
Beloved of Man(human specific): As one of the marginally enlightened races you have chosen to pay the ultimate price to protect latent sapient life and , better yet, lived to tell the tale. Your deed has not gone unnoticed by both potential allies and enemies alike. Minor bonus to Charisma when interacting with spiritually sensitive humans.
Death Twice Denied: Your time twice came yet you still deny the Reaper. Increased resistance to instant death effects. May only be resuscitated or reincarnated upon next death *Any attempt to bypass will result in being flagged for termination by balance keepers and those affiliated.
Maladjusted: You once were a handful of water in a little cup. Now you are a wet spot in a bathtub. Some racial features are currently latent.
And there it is, Maladjusted. Guess this new, high performance vehicle my body has become isn't satisfied with the little bit of unleaded that got siphoned to it. Looks like finding some fuel for this vessel is a high priority!
***
Somewhere in a deep, dark place a corpse-like figure is chained to a wall, it's body pinned in place by various esoteric tools and surrounded by body shaped dust piles laying as if peacefully at rest. It's body stirs with a barely perceivable trembling as a window of multicolored shapes reflect in it's dull eyes.
“To honor my promises, I will live. To repay our Lord's 'kindnesses', I will live. To denounce the lies of our enemies, I will live. My new little friend, do not extinguish the hope I have placed in you!”

Travel Through The Lands
Lief is the Prince in the city of Thright. Thright has been forgotten by the rest of the kingdom as it resides in the outer region of the Forgotten Forests. The Forgotten Forests is a region where once you enter you can't leave though normal means. As soon as the Huzina Kingdom got word that the City of Thright had moved they had little choice but to mark them off as dead... Add that to the fact its been hundreds of millions of years since then it's not really shocking... However, if you were to tell this to one of the members of Thright City they would probably laugh in you face, as they only moved here a few hundred years ago...Outside of the Forbidden Region of the Forgotten Forest...Kingdoms have declined and the old sects have vanished. Alchemy, Enchanting and many, many techniques have been lost over time... If you were to compare the City of Thright to the current Empires Dynasty?Just one commoner of Thright could completely destroy it within a day, but luckily for the Emperor, the City of Thright have no choice but to stay.As for Leif? Well, he's currently 10 years old and should by now be at the Low Earth Realm, but born with corrupted meridians he is unable to cultivate so he is stuck in the first realm of the Mortal realm. However, Liefs destiny was never confined to this forest. 18+ due to foul language and bloody scenes. RPG aspects start at the end of chapter 12. Currently on break for a while, I'll continue with this, just not right now. I'm unsure when I will continue writing this.
