Krill: Today’s headlines: Kanadaj’s project, changes in hyperlinks, and WriTE elections.

Krill: First, the project. As most of you must have already noticed, an admin of RRl – kanadaj – has asked to use some of the data from the site on his final project. We at Write Way wanted to firstly congratulate kanadaj pre-emptively on what will probably be an amazing project, and then to assuage any concerns readers may have regarding the data. Kanadaj has assured us that the data is both anonymized and relatively impersonal. He basically needs to know things like ‘where are most RRL users from,’ information which they – and anyone with access to sites like Alexa – already know. By asking for permission, he is both respecting the users’ rights and following university procedures, so good job Kanadaj!
Cookie: Yay, good job!
Krill: Second bit of news is the change in hyperlinks in chapters on RRl. Chapters will no longer allow hyperlinks (which is why we are discontinuing the ranking lists) however, top and bottom author notes still allow hyperlinks, so remember to follow your favorite authors’ other works/social media etc!

Krill: Lastly, RRl’s largest group – Writers To The End – is holding elections over this week. Although non-members cannot vote, dropping by the discord chat over next week should be a zany experience, to say the least. WriTE is in charge of this magazine, as well, so the future of Webfiction is up for grabs!

Eric King's day starts with a headache and ends with him getting attacked by zombies. Not a great day at all. All this occurs because suddenly mana enters the world and forces itself on and into everything completely changing the world. People now have classes and can use magic, they see their own status, and a variety of creatures enter your world with a variety of different motives. To top it off a group might want his death for nothing other than his class. Note: I am not a great writer so expect to read subpaar writing, with an unoriginal story that I might not write for long. I am simply writing this to see if I enjoy writing stories like this and to test it as a hobby. In times of when the world around people seems ordinary, A good stable world. In the world of Atlas the world seems balanced as it is, but when plots, deception, and treachery lurks around the corners of the world it bring chaos and disorder. Whatever treachery that lurks in the shadows the cause and effect of plots will no doubt lead to chain of events that begins with a Deception of Misdirection. Author's Notes: Book One: Deception of Midirection is my starting book for the series called 'Age of Enlightenment'. Theme: The theme in my series is 'change', the story is viewed through mutiple point of views on how characters developing to change as the world around changes. Having characters adapt and react to the situation they're on and how will they survive, getting knowledge that completely changes their view on the world, and finally how a person could change the world with power. Setting: A fantasy world yet I've set the time period alike to the 17th century.
