The sound of two metal colliding with each other filled the cave

After leaving the village Saito had decided to head over to the goblin cave which was considered a low-level farming area in order to level up. Upon reaching the goblin cave Saito entered but was startled by the sounds which emitted from withing the cave, inhuman screams vibrated as it bounced off the walls of the cave causing Saito's curiosity to drive him mad.

Not being able to hold it in any longer Saito decided to enter the cave to investigate the strange screams.

"Why do I keep getting involved in abnormal activities, I just wanted to farm normal goblins!" (Saito)

Saito who was carrying two daggers on each arm was currently standing a few feet away from a mutated goblin king, it was three times the size of Saito with skin as red as the blood which was scattered on the ground.

"Filthy human die already!" (Goblin King)

He swung his massive blade which he was carrying on his back towards Saito, However Saito managed to easily evade the blade in fact while the blade was forcing itself towards Saito it seemed to go in slow motion.

"Filthy?, you're eating your own people" (Saito)

Upon entering the cave Saito was welcomed with a horrifying scene, the crimson Goblin stood in the middle of the room as it feasted on lower goblins within the cave. Its body was covered in blood as he ate everything in its way not even leaving the bones of its prey.

The goblin King became enraged due to Saito's words, it forced its blade up and swung it down at Saito who was standing in front of him. Saito managed to evade the attack however due to the forceful impact from the blade and the surface of the ground around the area began to rumble which caused Saito to lose his balance.

"You filthy human, I've got you now!" (Goblin kIng)

The goblin king raised its sword directly aiming at Saito who still laid on the ground.

"Shit, why can't I move!" (Saito)

The blade was now at the peak of its height, the Goblin King stared at Saito with a smirk on his Crimson face which made him look like a demonic beast.

"Take this!"

Saito charged his right hand as it cladded itself with crimson Aura, The dagger in his left hand started to vibrate a little as he released it from his hand.

*Swoosh*

The dagger pierced the Goblin king's left eye causing it to kneel in pain, Saito repeated the same actions with his left hand but this time aiming for the goblin king's heart causing it to pierce through the Thick crimson skin.

The goblin king coughed up blood leaving a puddle underneath him, he could not keep track of Saito due to the extreme pain which he was suffering from.

"How does it feel to be on the other end!" (Saito)

Saito ran towards the kneeling goblin king and retrieved the dagger which was in his left eye, He jumped back in order to avoid any incoming attacks after he retrieved one of his daggers.

"I must admit I did not expect you to escape from that situation"

The goblin king let out a smirk as he got himself to stand up, he threw the blade which he was holding with his right hand away.

"But at your current stage, you're no match for me!"

"Vinaquirem miopiar akular sinur jistrathar qaziem sinur qaziem.." (Goblin King)

Before it could finish its incantation he was stopped midway with a puzzled expression, He gazed at Saito was running away from him heading towards the exit.

"HA!, you think I'm gonna take that head on?" (Saito)

Saito ran out of the cave in order to avoid contact with the high-rank magic.

"YOU COWERED!" (Goblin King)

The goblin king was amazed usually when he fought people they would rather die fighting than run away as a coward.

Outside the cave Saito laid against a tree whilst trying to catch his breath, he looked at his hands and noticed he was missing a dagger.

"Great now I'm one dagger short" (Saito)

Eventually, Saito decided to check his skills as he was able to use dagger throw he might have various other skills which could help him fight the Goblin King.

Saito closed the Skill window and got back up on his feet, he managed to spot a few goblins that had escaped the cave with his 'Divine Eye'.

"I see free xp"

Saito was wearing a sinister smile on his face as directed himself across the field towards the goblins, he managed to get close to them without catching their attention as he decided it was faster if he launches a surprise attack. Saito's arm began to surge with power as it cladded itself with crimson aura, he launched the dagger towards the goblin near him and manage to pierce its heart. The goblin was not able to let out a sound to warn his fellow companions as he was instantly killed.

Saito ran towards the corpse of the goblin which laid on the floor, he managed to pull out his dagger and throw it at the goblin in front of him whilst picking up a damaged sword which the corpse carried.

"Ugh" (Goblin)

The goblin fell to his knees as it let out a cry causing its companions to turn around, They clearly had an expression of fear on their face's it's as if they understood the situation they were in. Some of the goblins started to flee as they feared they would face death if they faced the enemy in front of them, however, Saito ran towards the goblin's whilst pulling out the dagger from the corpse. He carried the sword in his left hand and the dagger in his right, he had tried to use dagger throw again however it did not execute he gasped as he tried to force the air into his body, it seemed that the skills caused him to grow tired after a few uses due to his level.

"Dammit!" (Saito)

He launched himself at the fleeing goblin and managed to stab its leg causing it to fall over, he stood up on his feet and made his way to the goblin. The goblin who laid on the floor cried out in pain, it was trying to drag itself away from Saito. The goblin managed to raise his sword and aimlessly swung it at Saito as his last hope of survival, it slowly calmed down and laid on the ground as it whimpered in fear the goblin knew he could not escape his death so he laid there lifelessly as Saito approached him.

"This is kinda sad" (Saito)

He frowned as he raised the sword which he was carrying and swung it down to put the whimpering goblin out of his misery, Saito took a last look at the goblin who laid on the cold floor lifelessly with its eyes wide open. it genuinely felt like the goblin was alive rather than a computer generated mob, he thought to himself as he stared at the crimson blood flow out of its body.

"there's no way this is fake" (Saito)

Saito had hints of fear in his face, he was sure that these goblins were real and not computer generated. He also wondered how he could feel the breeze which hit his face every now and then and feel the pain inflicted by his enemies, he could smell his surroundings and feel his skin as if it was actually real.

"This isn't fake there's no way, it's impossible to create something like this" (Saito)

Saito regained his consciousness as he looked at the dead goblin, the corpse was still there it had not vanished like it would in normal RPG games. He looked around and set his vision on the cave, he frowned as started to head towards the cave.

"Oi, muscle head!" (Saito)

He entered the cave as his voice echoed the area catching the goblin king's attention, a huge crimson figure appeared from the end of the cave as he walked up to Saito.

"Your back coward" (Goblin King)

The goblin king gazed at Saito as he gave out a sinister smile.

"Have you heard of Vision or any strange changes around this area." (Saito)

the goblin king had a puzzled expression on his face as he looked at Saito.

"Your the strangest thing that I have come across ever since my creation?" (Goblin King)

"Have you noticed any significant changes which took place around 2 months ago?" (Saito)

"ill answer that question to your dead body" (Goblin King)

The goblin king raises his blade as he stared down Saito.

"Has anything strange occurred lately in this world?" (Saito)

The goblin king was beginning to lose his patience.

"What a foolish death." (Goblin King)

The goblin king swung his blade towards Saito trying to hit him however it was evaded as Saito dashed backwards avoiding the tip of the blade by inches.

"ARGGGH!" (Goblin King)

Saito dashed towards the goblin king as he swung his dagger leaving a cut on his arm whilst the goblin king raised his blade trying to ignore the pain, a few seconds later the blade landed onto the surface of the cave causing the ground to tremble. Saito jumped back as he avoided the impact, the goblin king dashed towards Saito with his blade to his left.

*Swoosh*

The blade flew towards Saito causing him to panic, Saito quickly jumped out of the way however his arm was struck by the blade causing it to break.

"AGHHH" (Saito)

He cried out in pain.

"Hahaha, I got you filthy human" (Goblin King)

The goblin king dashed towards Saito as he aimed for Saito's head with his fists, Saito pulled out a sword and pierced it through his stomach while throwing his dagger which pierced the goblin king's right eye. The goblin king cried out in pain as he stepped back, his punch had landed on Saito's chest causing him to cough up some blood. Saito walked up the goblin king and pulled out the sword had pierced its stomach, the sword shattered into pieces as Saito repeatedly stabbed the goblin King.

"T-Tell me H-H-Have y-you noticed anything s-strange lately?" (Saito)

*Cough*

Saito dropped onto his knees next to the goblin king as he coughed out blood.

"Now that you mention it two months ago the whole world was changing causing every being with a soul to tremble on their knees, after the horrifying event the population of adventurers raised abnormally causing my army to fall back." (Goblin King)

The goblin king slowly closed his eyes.

"Your a-army?" (Saito)

"h-hehe filthy human i do not have t-time tell you a s-story, c-consider yourself l-lucky you won bec..*Cough*.. internal injur..." (Goblin King)

The goblin king let out his last breath as he laid on the cold floor.

Saito dropped as he had no energy left in his body, he was slowly dying due to injuries gained from the goblin king.

"I'm sorry" (Saito)

Saito vision blurred out as he lost his consciousness, he could feel his consciousness being dragged through an endless void as he finally reached a surge of light.

*Gasp*

He opened his eyes as he tried to catch his breath, he was back in his room laying on his bed unharmed. He took off the Headset and placed it near his bed, Saito's body was covered in sweat his shirt was soaking wet and his body was shivering. Saito slowly raised his hands and stared at them they were trembling with no signs of stopping.

"...." (Saito)

Saito sat on top of his bed without moving for almost half an hour, his hands were still trembling with fear. He had just killed a living being with intelligence similar to that of a human, in his eyes he had just committed murder which was an unforgivable crime in his world.

"i-I'm sorry.."

Darkness covered the room as the sun set, Saito felt a shiver run down his body as he stared through the window which revealed the dark sky filled with burning stars.
