I went back inside mini-warden and asked Lilith to play the video she downloaded

It all started with static, everything was dark, the sound was just random gibberish until I heard a loud crash. Then everything started to clear up, I can now see through Eyeris, Vicereine's equipment that was usually on her right eye, it's supposed to help her detect enemies through thick smoke and walls with the help of thermal and heartbeat sensors, it can also track footsteps and fingerprints if the need arises

Vicereine really seemed to be encased in ice. Nothing happened for the first and two weeks, the Eyeris still had a lot of juice left since the sunlight penetrating the ice seems to be recharging the Eyeris even if it was slow

A man covered in a white robe approached the ice chunk, he kept studying it and soon six more people approached, they all wore the same white robe that was intricately designed with golden thread

They cast a spell and started melting the ice with fire until Vicereine fell forwards, they caught her and started checking for signs of life. Once they confirmed that she was alive, they started to carry her away from the ice chunk.

They journeyed for a few days and I soon saw a huge chapel, they carried her inside and removed her clothes and armor. A few nuns came in and gave her a bath, as for the Eyeris, it was carried along with all of the equipment she had, Valkyrie01 armor, customized rail-AWP gun, twin energy blade, and finally, the E-Glock 001

All equipment was placed on a table, all of the white-robed men started having a heated discussion as to what to do with the woman they found and ultimately, decided to see if she has any use for their church, so, they spoke to Vicereine that's where it ended. Nothing happened much so I skipped forward until the battery died, the area was deep underground so the sunlight didn't reach the equipment.

There was nothing else so Lilith closed the video and I'm back to staring at the living room of the mini-Warden, I was about to move out when I heard Alissa on my radio

'Zeno! Zeno! we've got a problem'

'What? calm down and tell me'

'I've just got word from Cynthia that the other Kingdom is currently under attack so I double checked Vicereine's location, she's on her way back, at this rate, it will take her at least four days'

'So? what do you want to do? if it were me, I'd use mini-Warden and chase after her' I asked her

'I would do the same, let the other Kingdom rot so for now, why don't you come and recharge, I'll have Guardian 3 prepare the mini-warden'

'Got it'

I rushed out and immediately went to her lab, I saw the charging station and just laid down there, Alissa came and attached a huge wire on my back. Charging both DK and my own core energy will take about a day, normally, it would only take half a day but Alissa is going to do some maintenance on my robotic arms and on DK.

I powered down and went to sleep, I woke up to Alissa's hasty pushing

"Is there something wrong?" I asked as I pushed myself up

"V-Vicereine, she suddenly appeared inside the enemy Kingdom"

"What? do they have teleportation magic?" I asked

"I've asked Alissa once and she said that teleportation magic was possible but no mage in Arcadia is capable of using it"

"Then there's no time to waste, how long was I out?"

"About 16 hours, your core is at 80% and your DK is at 90%, I've already done full maintenance on your body and on DK"

"Alright, thanks. Is mini-Warden good to go?"

"Yeah, go on, also, take these, plasma grenades, I've managed to replicate 10 of them"

"Thanks"

I immediately wore my armor and left, the enemy kingdom is under siege, I would never help them under normal circumstances but Vicereine is there right now. Alright, my mission for now is to just save her and move her back here.

The ship was already fired up and ready to go when I arrived, Guardian 3 was piloting it. We immediately left and set course for Vicereine's location, we moved at the highest speed possible

After just 30 minutes, we arrived at the enemy kingdom, it was filled utter chaos, monsters of different classes run rampant but upon closer look, it wasn't only them who was joining in on the carnage. Formars were everywhere, this royal city became their colosseum where 3 factions ran rampant. They dyed everything red, all of the city's guards, though they outnumber the other forces, they kept getting torn apart piece by piece.

We reached the castle where Vicereine is, I soon saw her, she was fighting off six demons at once, she also seemed to have taken a blow on her armor. We closed in

"Hah, so this is the power of the holy maiden? give me a break!" one of the demons, a minotaur, laughed as it raised its ax and slammed it down toward Vicereine

"Get back Vicereine, I'll take care of this!" I'll take these demons down

I blocked the minotaurs attack and moved forward at speeds he couldn't keep up, I moved behind him and grabbed his horn with my right hand, my left hand was aimed towards his neck. I fired a gamma blast and just tore his head off

Blood splashed everywhere as the minotaur's body collapsed, as for his head, I just threw it on the ground like it was nothing

"Damn it! who is he?! take him down now!" One of the demons, an undead mage, roared out

All of the other four, a vampire, a dark druid, a headless knight, and a four-armed ogre rushed towards me. The vampire with her sharp claws, swung at my neck but I dodged it by bending backwards, the headless knight swept his sword, aiming at my feet so I did a backflip, the four-armed ogre came from above and kept raining down punches and I had no choice but to keep backflipping away, finally, I noticed a sapling sprout on the ground where I landed, I jumped up before thorny vines emerged from the ground and tried to restrain me

The vampire once again tried to attack but I countered her charge with a gamma blast but she turned to hundreds of bats and moved behind me

"Vampiric art, [Slash of Death]!" She kept swinging her claws on my back but they can't penetrate DK's tough armor

The ogre appeared in front of me and like a minigun, he kept raining punches on my body

'Lilith, switch to speed'

'Switching... complete'

I timed my escape perfectly, just when they were about to continue their onslaught, I vanished from their sights. I appeared behind the ogre, he noticed my presence and tried to punch with both his arms on the left but I cut them off and continued to slash Azazel towards his neck but I had no choice but to stop and back away since thorny vines tried to restrain me again

"Stay still! [Sleeping forest]" The ground shook, from the stone pavement grew a tree, a dark and dreary tree. More and more trees with black leaves started to grow from the ground, our surrounding that was filled with debris of houses and other man-made structures was turned into a dark forest

'Night vision activated' Lilith announced

I looked behind me and saw Vicereine, holding her waist

'Assess her current situation'

'Scanning, please wait'

No one moved, each forces trying to plan out what to do next

'Scanning complete, Vicereine's health condition is priority 4, she suffered some cuts and bruises, she's broken 2 ribs, also, she is fatigued, I suggest we give her medical attention and let her rest after this battle'

'Thanks'

I looked at the enemy forces, they were on guard towards me, I've fought almost all of them, except for that undead mage, he seems to be chanting something since his mouth kept moving, also, Lilith detected the concentration of mana all around his body

I charged forward, I have to get Vicereine away from here as soon as possible

Thorny vines grew everywhere and tried to restrain me but they can't keep up with my speed so the dark Druid had no choice but to erect a wall of trees in order to slow me down, it didn't have much effect since I tore everything down. I was about to reach them when another tree wall stood between us, I tore it down but on the other side, saw the ogre, he regrew his arms and now all of his arms were shining in a golden light

"Fall before my might! [Ogre punch!]" he punched out as the golden light escaped his arms and headed towards me

[Spatial rip]

I vanished appeared behind the group, the ones who moved quickly were the vampire and the headless knight, they tried to attack me but I blasted them away with gamma rays

They both flew on opposite sides and crashed into a tree, the thrusters on my back ignited as I dashed forward and with a single slash, torn the ogre in half.

'Zeno, the mage disappeared and reappeared behind Vicereine!' Lilith alerted me

I looked behind and saw the undead mage holding Vicereine

"Goddamnit, I'm left no choice!" He roared out as he continued chanting

I dashed forward but out of nowhere, a hand grabbed my foot, I looked down and saw the ogre with no left body parts

I used spatial rip and appeared behind the undead mage, the ogre's arms who teleported along with me was still on grabbing on to my foot

I swung Azazel down but another set of thorny vines stopped me from finishing my attack

'LILITH, STRENGTH NOW!'

'Switching... complete'

I tore through the vines with sheer force, my blade was about to reach his head but he vanished

I looked at the other demons, they also started vanishing. I punched the ground in frustration but I heard a voice

"To be able to push us, the Demon Lord's six Generals to this state, you really are dangerous as she said"

Demon Lord? that's it, I'm going to their base and I'll take Vicereine with me
