《Transmigrated Into A Game》5: Suspicious Janitor Room

School the very next day was as pleasant as yesterday. Nevertheless, Rose attended all her classes as peacefully as she could, then before she knew it, the bell for the last class chimed and it was time for her to search for the two boys who had knocked her sense out.
She elegantly stood up from her seat, ignoring the terrible whispering in her surroundings. She was not quite sure how much sin the previous owner accumulated, but it was easy enough for her to see it was no mere feat. And not merely from misunderstandings.
Rose turned to the entrance and was greeted by the sight of the two boys she had encountered yesterday. They were looking at her with different expressions with the blond flashing her an accommodating smile and the other merely staring at her.
Their temperaments were total opposites and were releasing auras beyond their age.
Rose gathered her bearings and hastened her steps, performing a perfect bow towards the two youths, causing them utter surprise. The blond's smile faltered, while the auburn frowned.
"Greetings, seniors." Rose calmly greeted, causing not only the two boys even more surprise but the rest of the class.
"Holy s***. Is the sun rising in the west?"
"I'm dreaming... Someone pinch my bottom..."
"Pleasure's mine-"
"Okay, stop. Sexual harassment..."
The crowd grew thicker while the blond and the auburn continued to be flabbergasted. Rose decided there was no point standing at the doorway with her intention to have a talk with the pair. She gestured her hand for the two to walk ahead while saying, "Please, let us move to another location. I wish to speak with the both of you over a matter."
She had guessed the two boys knew of her for how infamous she was, so what was left was to drag them somewhere where no one can overhear what she was gonna talk about. She had a feeling they knew her more anyone in class at least.
They both agreed to Rose's suggestion without a word, leading the front while glancing from time to time to her direction as if she was gonna run if they let their eyes off of her for 5 seconds.
When she came to, they were in front of a... Janitor Room.
"...Was there no other place to get some privacy?" What if a janitor comes in while in the middle of a reveal??
To Rose's worry, the blond kindly explained, "This room is not exactly a Janitor Room even if it says it is. Come... Rose." He offered to open the door and allowed Rose to strut inside before them, like a gentleman he was.

Rose was a little excited, but upon entrance, she merely saw what a Janitor Room should look like. Several lockers lined up by the wall that may contain either the janitors' personal stuffs or cleaning materials. While there were wooden benches in the middle of the small room. Not even a table was in sight.
"Not a Janitor Room indeed..." Rose softly murmured sarcastically.
"Ha.." The blond chuckled, giving Rose a sidelong glance before opening one of the lockers, the second locker from the door. His hands fiddled within before mechanical sounds shifted the opposite wall from the lockers, revealing a roomful of computers.
Rose's eyes grew wide as her lips parted to inhale sharply. "Not an ordinary Janitor Room... indeed." She paraphrased, unconsciously walking towards the familiar technological room.
Although the computers were a little outdated than what she remembered in her time, they were super computers nevertheless. There were numerous monitors on one side of the wall, while numerous buttons were laid on the table below. This could be the main control.
Her fingers gently slid along the tables with computers that had codes plastered on each screen, reminiscing her past. Almost everyone in her time knew how to program or fiddle with computers because everything was driven by artificial intelligence. Even then, they were required to be a little knowledgeable to make further changes to their system, although not necessarily. The rich may ask someone else to do their bidding.
"Rose?" Called the blond, whose blue eyes glittered with mirth seeing Rose's reaction. "Are you okay now? We are sorry we hurt you yesterday. I hope Uncle didn't say anything about a punishment?"
Rose turned to him, her face completely calm beyond her age. "Apology accepted. May I speak freely?" She politely asked, deciding to test the waters with the two strangers.
The blond gave a nod. "Sure, go ahead." He was truly feeling curious as to why Rose was being too polite with them, or for that matter, too rigid than before.
"Due to yesterday's incidence, I have lost many of my memories." She begun, shocking the boys altogether.
She opened her mouth to continue when the auburn finally spoke. "So you are blaming us? It was your fault for jumping in when obviously we were dueling."
Rose merely blinked, a little smile on her face. "I'm sorry, but I have no time to blame anyone and certainly, it was my fault for going up the third floor only to be met with disaster. Fortunately, I survived the fall."

"Obviously, who do you think saved you from smashing your head?" The auburn bitingly said, obviously mad at Rose for being stupid.
She did not mind. "Thank you."
Her calm and sensible response merely surprised the auburn even more. If it was before, Rose would have exploded on him. He felt a little conflicted at the change, as if the person before him was not the Rose he knew very well. "So you really lost your memories?"
"Yes." Her smile deepened, finally progressing towards serious business. "May I ask for your help concerning retrieving my memories? More specifically of why many bad rumors surround me? Please."
Rose was so polite that even if the auburn didn't want to be kind to her, he felt obligated due to morality. But he did not want to be the one to help. "You tell her." He said to the blond whose blue eyes were still gazing at Rose with interest.
The blond gave his assent and thoughtfully explained. "It's more about Uncle than it is about you, but there are two cases that made it possible for everyone to ostracize you."
"My father? Is this about his multi-billion dollars IT enterprise?"
"Correct. Rose, your father's influence is like a double-edged sword on you because people either like you or hate you. But after you rejected a nouveau riche upperclassman, 80% of the student body came to dislike you. It doesn't help that you have been willful and arrogant." He said all these with an amicable smile, as if not parting any negative words to the person herself.
From what he had said, although half of the student body didn't really think much of Rose, but after seeing her arrogant self and even rejecting an upperclassman for everyone to see, their thoughts on her changed. The upperclassman must have considerable influence, and may have been completely embarrassed by the previous 'Rose'. But this was a case currently out of her control.
She was thoughtful, her lips pursed as her mental gears shifted. "How close are we for you to call my father Uncle?"
"You can say we're childhood friends." He simply said, but it seemed like there was more to it. This may also explain their generosity and patience to Rose at the moment.
"Are you receiving benefits from being connected with me?" She slowly asked, serenity overlaid her 10-year old countenance.
The blond and the auburn have tried to critically analyze Rose for her huge change, yet they still cannot help but gape at the margin of transformation. Except for the physical appearance, she seemed like a whole different person altogether.
"You are not Rose." The auburn accused, glaring daggers at Rose whose professional smile almost cracked. He completely changed the subject away from Rose's objective.
"I have informed you. Most of my memories have been lost." She reminded gently, afraid of the consequences when they truly learn she was not the Rose that existed in this world. She was powerless and merely knew the shallow facts of the game. Furthermore, this was her current reality.
The auburn remained guarded, his sharp green eyes bore on her like a predator. In deep contrast, the blond serenely smiled at Rose as he said, "Rose, merely losing one's memories does not add to a complete change. You don't feel like Rose, just as much your character don't seem like her's. Who are you really?"
"What do you suggest?" She remained calm, flashing her professional smile that always plastered on her face when amidst adversities.
"Are you a 'hyper-driver'?"
Hyper-driver? "Was I one?" She quipped, referring to the previous Rose. She was adamant to learn about her new identity before pursuing anything else. To immerse in this new world was at the top of her priority list.
The blond and the auburn were stumped for words. They wanted to get answers out of Rose, but she merely turns the table towards them. Did she truly lose her memories, or was she lying to their face? They couldn't tell.
The blond cleverly decided on a plan. "We will explain to you what a hyper-driver is if you can meet with us in the weekend."
Rose understood what the blond wanted to do, but she did not want to object. This was a chance to understand things further. Can she risk herself without any knowledge? There were still three days before Saturday.
"Okay."

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Jerry tries to settle down, wanting nothing but a peaceful life for him and his undead—and, when that doesn't quite work out, he sets out to adventure. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.

The Adventurer's Guild(master)
In a world of adventure, magic, and kingdoms, only one man can keep it all from falling apart. As much as he wished that wasn't the case. This is the story of the man who became the guild master of the most prestigious adventurer's guild in the kingdom, and then came to completely regret that decision, as he is forced to keep the peace, file paperwork, and babysit adventurers. The life of a guild master is not as great as it once seemed. Note: The prologue is an extended -probably should have not took it that far- joke and is completely skippable from the rest of the series. This is my first work on this website, or on any website to be honest, so criticism is more than welcome. Feel free to leave comments on any chapter, not just the latest one.

Pocket Dungeon Lite
Based on the Pocket Dungeon original novel made by Stuckin (I asked for his permission beforehand). I do not know if this could count as a fanfiction as I made up many elements on the go so, for now, I will list this as an original but if Stuckin-sama would like me to change it I will be fine with doing so. This is somewhat of a self-insert but I made sure not to make the MC to OP. Also, the creator of the cover is Vurguy I tried to contact him to ask for permission but couldn't due to technical issues please go support him on Deviant Art and I don't own the picture so if he wants me to take it down than I am completely okay with doing so. As I am an improving author, I am glad to receive any constructive criticism or critical review I just hope that everyone will give me a chance before they yell at me for something or at least tell me what made them angry so I know what the issue is and can figure out how to deal with it. For now, my schedule is 1-2 chapters a week and if I am busy with either work or school 1-3 chapters every 2 weeks. I expect a bunch of chapters at the beginning around 5 or so and for me to continue from there. I will try my best to keep some chapters in storage for any time where I can't write for whatever reason. I will continue to change this part of the synopsis if anything changes in my update schedule. - From a thoughtful Author Pocket Dungeon is a widespread interstellar game that has captivated the attention of many races and civilizations. Nowadays in the 2300s anyone not living under a rock would grow up with a dungeon and learn to manage it over time as they make mistakes along the way. But as all things go there is always an exception and this exception can be found in Nadezhda Ledopad who had an overprotective family that didn't let him interact with anything but those they deemed worthy and safe. This overprotectiveness caused them to forbid him from gaining a pocket dungeon as they knew with his intelligence and specialties in certain fields he would become a strong dungeon master, quickly. This was something his family was very much against as they knew that his competitiveness and duty to maintain the Ledopad family's reputation would push him to win in the competitions that he would inevitably get invited too. This all changed when Nadezh graduated high school and moved to the Celestial Plane capital star as a Prodigal student in planetary conservation (major) and revival of species through DNA transferal (minor). His brother in all but blood Tet schemed to get him into Pocket Dungeons when they got there as no one would keep Nadezh from playing. Nadezh excited to join his peers in this famous game looked forward to doing so. But with this one decision, many futures changed and the Fates laughed as people of strong destinies meet together on this plane. Warning - This will probably contain LGBT+ relationships. You have been warned, I will not tolerate stupidity to the ninth degree in the comment section and I hope that people can be logical enough to GO AWAY if they don't like this kind of thing. If you don't feel comfortable with mature or explicit scenes I will put a warning in the chapters or parts with such and I just wanted all of you to know that this will be a long novel as with most novel I will write in the future so don't expect a deep romantic relationship anytime soon.
