《Dusk God》Chapter 16- Tea Time

“Oh my you're a princess, shall I know your name?” I bow.
“Princess Tassy.” She said while grinning.
"Nice to meet you Princess Tassy, I'm a Viscount in noble rank," I said with no smug.
"Maybe we go for tea, I don't want to leave a part of royalty outside in the middle of a marketplace." I smile and escort them to a nice tea place down the road, the teahouse had many good produces and they also had fruits to go along with the tea.
The tea had a nice scent to it and they gave a fruit they called mangos, they present it in a bowl with toothpicks. The restaurant was almost stranded with only us and three other pairs, most likely enjoying their own time.
The staff had a couple of people outside to take orders and refill mango bowls. The tea costs only a couple of silver.
"Let us order four Root Teas if that is okay with you princess."
"Yes, that is fine make sure it is not scorching hot."
"Yes customers, I will make sure to not keep you long."
'Well then, what is it she wants? Maybe she wants to meet me, or her father sent her to me. If it's her father, then I won't have any problem at all. Basically, all my "problems" are at home. and if they search, which they probably already have, they won't find anything worthwhile.'
"So Princess why did you want to talk? If it is something important you could've called us to the castle, as to not tire yourself."
"Well, The King said he wanted me to find out more about you."
'That was simple.'
"So what did you find out about me?" I questioned.
"Nothing." As she says this her eyebrows twitches and furrows, annoyingly enough she acted as if she wasn't angry and still talked in the same tone the entire time.
'So what did she do to find out more about me?'

"So what do you think of me?"
"You Mr. Dracula are from what I saw today nice, respectful, thoughtful, smart, and strange."
"What's strange about me?"
"You don't seem to move your face at all, its as if you had been an actor your whole life. I find you to be smart as well, which sometimes isn't a good thing." Her innocent smile finally dropped,
She was unhappy.
"And what do you have to be careful of princess I am of course a noble of the Kingdom."
Bending in my chair I bring my face closer to hers.
"And this Kingdom needs me," I whisper inside of her ear, she blanks for a couple of seconds.
"Yes, of course, we need you, I need you, I'm just writing a report for Father," she looks intensely at me.
I look over at Kristie's face she looks at Tassy in disbelieve. 'Did she really just admit to needing someone?'
'Ahhh that was too much mana, I tried to make her stop her from annoying me and I end up brainwashing her.'
Brainwashing is like hypnotize, but it makes the person believe this with all there heart, and unlike hypnotizing it needs the user of the spell to control others minds. 'This time the mana I used was too much frying the brain a little too much.'
"Did you need anything else then Princess?"
"No, but I could look at you some more." She smiles with no bad intent. 'Well, at least she is pleasing to the eye.'
"Than Princess please do call me to the castle if you need me, don't hesitate even if I'm in my Mansion." I bow.
"Well then I will be taking my leave, Kristie did you want to come with me or did you want to talk to the Princess?"
"If the Princess doesn't need me then I shall take my leave."
"Yes, you can leave I will leave after I get a little more tea." The Princess spoke.

After getting up from the chairs Kristie and I leave the teahouse. After exiting we come to find the outside start to become darker. We see a man going around lighting up the lamplights one by one. A very chilling image like shaved ice.
Kristie and I decided to split up for the night, I decided to eat while she decided to go walk around. After all, the night had only a slight chill.
"I'll see you again Kristie, hopefully, we'll have another good time."
"Yes, thank you for this wonderful day Viscount Dracula."
After parting ways I head to the inn I'm currently staying in and stop to pick up a quick meal on the way.
'This is really inconvenient, I should set up a food supply soon.'
POV Princess Tassy
After the meeting, Sarkis and I went home to go to the mattress as I was drowsy.
On the way, I was stopped by my father. He reaches out to me once I came home, he sent an attendant to fetch me.
"So, Tassy what was he like?" He asked.
As I knew he didn't like me and my hobby of poison making and slavery, I usually didn't talk to him, to me he was just someone who likes to fight against me. He himself owns slaves as well, just they're not SSS ranker like I have.
POV King
After a long while of Tassy being out, she finally came back from talking to the new Viscount. Hopefully, he isn't hurt or was poisoned, after all, he owns a good amount of land.
"So, Tassy what was he like?" I question right off the bat.
This is my daughter even if I don't want to say it that much, but she just downright scares me, who knows one day she could be fed up with me and just slip some purple "Dust" into my drink one day.
"He has a good head on his shoulders."
"Anything else to report?" She usually does pretty well at these jobs so even if I don't like her, I make her work.
"Nothing much except we should keep him around." She smiled.
"Well did you find anything new about him like origin, allies, or something to hold him down?"
"Nope, he didn't let anything slip when I was with him. The only thing strange was that Knight Kristie was with him when I found him. "
"What Kristie.... what were they doing?"
"Nothing much looked like they were shopping for dresses earlier though, as they had a couple of bags with them from a good tailor.
"I see, then since it is late please head to bed."
"Yes Father, have a good night."
After she was escorted out, I made my way to my office to take care of some piled up documents and think about what just happened.
'Why did she say she wanted to keep him here? It is an unusual thing to hear from her.' This by itself is weird, she didn't even give any reason either.
After thinking about it I figured I couldn't guess what she was thinking and thought of something more pressing.
'Who is this new Viscount and where did he come from, more importantly, what do I do with him?"
This was a stressing thought as he can do many things, like try to bridge a way for his home country, spy on the kingdom, or even try to rebel against me.
"Great another noble I need to watch out for. *Sighs* haaaaa."
Well, I guess it is time for me to hit the bucket after I get this last pile of papers done. After looking at the pile you can see that the King changes from his gloomy state to a serious one.
"Butler make me some hot tea. Oh and make it yourself for the next few days."
I don't want to risk the chance I made Tassy angrier than usual with that job.
