Mia walked to the house door and unlocked it with her key, she walked in and closed the door but then she noticed all the house lights are off, the kitchen window was opened and she heard strange movement in the kitchen.

"Kira?"

"S-.. Smith?"

"Kira? Mike? Leo? Anyone?"

She started panicking after everything she read in the news about the serial killer, she was so scared for her life. Her right hand reached for the lights and slowly flicked it on but then . . .

She just saw a cat on the kitchen table by the window looking at her with its fur raised up.

"Meoooooow!" the cat meowed before jumping out of the window.

She felt a tap on her left shoulder as she gasped.

It was just Leo, he took a step back due to the mother's reaction.

"I'm sorry sweetie I was just . . . uh, never mind, are you ok?"

Leo nodded before reaching for the groceries from her hands, helping her out to move them to the kitchen, she felt relieved and a lot safer with Leo by her side now.

"Thanks, Leo, that's so sweet of you. Geez, I shouldn't have let Smith wash the dishes this morning he left the window open!!" she reached for the window, closing it.

"Now the whole living room and the kitchen are cold."

Leo smiled cheerfully and started helping her organizing the groceries into the fridge.

Of course, Smith passed by Nyxx's house and kept asking her questions about the Penter CEO who was murdered recently.

"I'm sorry, am I a suspect here?" Nyxx replied with her arms crossed while tapping the floor with her toe showing a notable pout on her face.

"Not at all, they are just routine questions!"

She sighed, running her left palm through her blonde, silky hair "Yes, I did play a few poker games with him but then I had to leave as I was feeling so horny and had to go back home quickly to-"

"Too much information!" Smith freaked out and interrupted her.

"Did you just imagine me-"

"No, I did not!"

"Your face is red, yes you did!"

"I did NOT imagine you naked!"

"I never said anything about being naked"

Creepy Silence!

"Shit" Smith exclaimed.

Nyxx gasped "Oh my GOD, you just had dirty thoughts about me being naked!"

"JESUS WOMAN... I'm done with questions, thank you for your time!"

She winked at him, waving "Bai baaaai!!"

Smith walked off right away to his Police Cruiser, trying his best to hide his erection, after all, who wouldn't have an erection while having dirty thoughts about the pretty, hot, and fabulous billionaire.

Nyxx smirked before heading back inside, she then mumbled as she walked into her mansion "Men, easy to play with, hmph!"

What a naughty girl Nyxx is.

It was dinner time, Smith came back home to have dinner with the family but he was so upset that Kira wasn't there. Well, the man misses his cute little daughter after all.

They sat at the table and started having dinner.

"Couldn't you cut the meat into a few smaller pieces?" Smith complained.

"Sorry, honey, let me get the knife."

Smith raised his eyebrows as a thought just crossed his mind, "Those bikers who got murdered included the two who assaulted Leo in the alleyway. The gangsters who got killed included the one who stabbed Kira. And the mall, he went there with Kira and for some reason, the serial killer showed up there too. Could it be this kid is the serial killer? But then the hospital, they didn't allow him in however, there were witnesses that he left right away. But the kid is so peaceful and kind to everyone. Jesus this is confusing"

Leo wrote in his note, "I'll wash the dishes then"

"Oh no no no, I will. Go get some rest, you worked hard today especially the shopping with Kira!" Smith chuckled.

Leo nodded and went back upstairs.

Mia was talking to Smith while helping him wash the dishes.

"Oh honey, I've had a terrifying experience yesterday!"

"Really? What happened?"

Mia told him about the opened window and the cat. But, Smith was pretty sure he didn't even open the kitchen window.

His suspicion of Leo is now increasing. He called his colleague to pay him a visit at home.

"Alright, give me 40 minutes and I'll get to ya!" Miles replied on phone.

Smith waited for like 30 minutes and decided to walk upstairs and check on Leo. He walked to Leo's room and found the door half-closed. He slowly opened it and Leo wasn't there.

"I knew it!"

He heard something in the bathroom and decided to open the bathroom's door just to make sure, he opened the door quickly and saw Leo brushing his teeth there. Leo looked at Smith as he blinked twice.

"Oh, hey, kid. Was just checking on ya to see if you needed anything. Good night!"

Smith went downstairs to welcome his friend.

"I'll get straight to the point. I need you to run a test on this knife and see if you can find any blood prints on it. Try to find any Finger Prints too, I doubt you'll find any. But I'm pretty damn sure you'll find blood prints."

"I'll do my best, give me some time and I'll call you back later with the results."

TV reporter

"Breaking news, three more dead bodies were found by the train station mid-town, seems like the Serial Killer is granted a bit more freedom and a license to kill in New York. We're still asking, What is the NYPD doing? When will they capture this psychopath? Stay tuned, New York news"

Smith got up as he spoke to his partner, "Wait here!"

Smith walked upstairs to check on Leo, he slowly pushed the door but then he found Leo sleeping. He slowly closed the door and went back downstairs.

"I guess I'm getting old, hehe. Let's watch a football game and have some beer!" - Said Smith to his friend.
