SCREAMS!
It was the nurse's voice.
"Please no, AAAAAAAAAAAAAH . . . argh!"
Slich Slich Slich!
"What in the HELL IS GOING ON?!! Go check it out, you morons!" the female yelled at her bodyguards.
The four bodyguards went through the hallway, the first two of them turned left and the other two moved onto the hallway.
The first two were checking each room, trying to figure out what in the hell is going on.
The first one opened the door but then something pulled him by his collar and stabbed his throat.
"gghhhhakhhh!" The first bodyguard gagged and fell on his face.
The second one called for his mate - "Jason?!!" the second guard looked around.
Something passed behind him so he quickly turned around and aimed his gun.
"JASON?!!"
He ran and saw two rooms facing each other and, both of them had their doors opened. He saw a blood pool by the one to his left, he aimed his gun trying to get a better look, he turned on his mobile's flash and saw his mate with a stab to his throat, eyes facing the roof.
"Jesus, Jas-.." but before finishing the sentence something pulled him by his feet to the second room, and stabs sounds were heard in the there.
Slich Slich Slich
"AAAAAH!!"
"FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK MAN?!!" the third guard was trembling.
The fourth one replied, "I don't fucking know, I ain't doing this shit, let's head back to Jessica, fuck this, let's just go, ok?" he aimed at the door in front of him but he didn't get any reply from his friend.
"Dude?" he turned around and saw blood pouring down his friend's neck, he was gagging before falling on his knees and shaking on the floor, dying as blood started to color the floor.

"FUCK! JESUS!" he then kicked the door next to the third guard's body and checked the corners in there but there was nothing. The fourth one started to freak out but then something rose up behind him, he felt the presence of something behind him, he started to turn around slowly while shaking in fear, and, then . . .
The fourth guard's scream could be heard through the hallway
"AAAAAAAAAAH!!"
Jessica reached for her purse and tried to pull out her handgun but before she aimed it forward a kitchen knife was thrown out of the darkness, twirling in the air before stabbing Jessica's throat.
"Akhaggg" Jessica gagged before falling on her back with her body shaking.
And so, the footsteps could be heard walking down the hallway. . .
The doctor was hiding behind Sarah's bed, shaking in fear, it was a miracle he hasn't pissed himself already.
The door slowly opened and its crack sound could be heard, and footsteps were approaching the bed, walking around it until they reached the doctor's position. He was crouched down in fear.
The doctor looked up slowly "p-... please, they threatened to kill my fami-..." and before he could finish the sentence, the murderer interrupted him.
"Shhhhh!" keeping his index to his own lips while holding the bloody kitchen knife with his right, the murderer looked at Sarah then back at the doctor.
Meanwhile, Smith was driving past the hospital on his way back home when he noticed the hospital had no lights and it was pitch black. It was strange as hospitals usually have back up generators. He rushed in there with a hunch, he knew back then that the Serial Killer might actually be there since he usually shows up and takes his victims' lives in the dark. He drove to the hospital right away.

The murderer approached Sarah with his bloody knife, looking down at her as he raised it a bit.
The little girl opened her eyes slowly, looking at him with half-opened eyes.
"Are you . . . the Angel of Death... who will take my soul to God?" she had a faint, innocent tone.
He slowly raised his left hand and placed it on her eyes, closing them slowly.
Slich!
Meanwhile, Smith rushed to the entrance and that's when he saw the doctor's body laying on the ground, it's notable he fell off one of the windows after being stabbed to the throat with a sharp object, he checked his pulse and figured he's already dead. Looks like the Serial Killer accepted his help request and saved his family... By taking his life.
"Of course, he likes to play in dark places," mumbled Smith to himself.
He rushed inside and to his shock, he saw the blood everywhere. He withdrew his gun right away, turned on his flashlight, and aimed around.
Smith grabbed his radio and yelled at it, "This is Detective Smith, requesting immediate backup to the general hospital RIGHT NOW! Bring a FUCKING AMBULANCE TOO!"
He reached Sarah's room and opened the door with a shocked look on his face upon looking at Sarah on her bed.

Beneath No Sky: Chronicles of the Atmospheric Sector
After bringing themselves back from the brink of annihilation, humanity's future seemed bleak. However, it's remnants, throwing aside the old order and donning a new mantle of progress aimed to rise above their ancient disputes and go forward as one. Once the Earth reached it's natural limit, and colonies around Terra and Luna had shown promising results, humanity finally decided to make the move to the stars. Believing this to be the start of a new age, they eagerly poured across the solar system and further beyond, greeting what space had to offer with hope and optimism. It was misplaced, however, for humanity's traditional quarrels soon resurfaced and engulfed a now interplanetary empire of many races. As the Earth Empire burned and an intense depression overtook the once optimistic people, some held out hope. They theorized that their problems were born of an inherent sense of home and, in order to rid humanity, now comprising of the Terrans as well as all the other known species of the galaxy, of this burden, decided to move far away from civilized space, into uncharted depths, to start anew. Some 200 years have passed since then, and those hopeful ones have finally found a place to settle on. Firmly planting their flag in paradise, they called this untouched land "Eden" and declared the beginning of a true new age, the age of After Eden.Trouble, however, seemed to still be hounding them, as barely three years after its founding, Eden finds itself at war with a seemingly uncommunicative and uncompromising enemy that far outclasses the odd pirates they were used to facing. A new era of peace, marked by an immediate conflict. Time will tell if Eden, the Grand Experiment, truly is as great as it's supposed to be. ---------------------------------------- This is a sci-fi, character driven, military space drama. Multiple POV protagonists and lots of unnecessary detail. Somewhat psychological. My first work on this website. A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.
