Five days go by and Mike still hasn't managed to dominate Mjolnir, let alone release his powers. Michelle decided to support her son and not question or hesitate in his mission. She allowed her free will in the path she would walk. He hops on his motorcycle and puts on his helmet.

On the way home, Mike feels rejuvenated and a sense of happiness seeing the whole city. People living their lives, laughing, walking quickly somewhere, exercising or even fighting in traffic. It's amazing how we don't value the small or the simplest things.

Woden said that Ragnarok is the most dangerous event that can happen and spreads across several worlds, including Midgard. In two days the final challenge will kick off, and what comes next is what really worries Mike. Distracted in his thoughts, the boy is already in Brooklyn near his house. He parks the bike, climbs the stairs and knocks hard on the door. Eager to see his mother, in what Woden says may be the last time, but Mike doesn't believe it. It surprises Mike that Woden knows this place so well. The three walk through the cave for another five minutes until they reach a dead end. There is only one big hole ahead. Mike leans over to see what it is and the cavity in front of him can't see the bottom, only darkness. He picks up a rock and throws it to see how deep it is. A few seconds passed and he still didn't hear anything.

The boy closes his eyes to improve his hearing and still doesn't hear the stone fall. It hasn't hit the ground yet and it won't be possible to measure the depth of the hole, but it's too deep, that is. Mike wonders what Woden's purpose is in bringing him here. He doesn't ask, but looks at the old man curiously.

Mike feels his body thrown back towards the hole. If he falls into this hole he will surely die or he will not be able to come back. The boy's last moments will be the betrayal of his master and the girl he is in love with. And so he falls into the hole.

His body is falling, Mike is very angry and doesn't want to accept that he is going to die. He tries to hold onto the corners, but it is not possible due to the weight and the rocks in the hole being very fragile, being destroyed when he tries to grab them.

These are Mike's last words before his inevitable death, however the Mjolnir starts to emanate a weak white light, but it gradually increases until it blinds Mike. And the feeling of falling doesn't happen anymore, the boy still hasn't opened his eyes, but notices that he's on solid ground.

Mike opens his eyes slowly and what was once all dark is now all clear and white. He gets up and sees a person with long white hair and a black dress in front of him. Apparently a woman, very beautiful by the way, Mike didn't know there could be such a beautiful woman. She has a smile on her face:

Mike Bragieir! You sure are very interesting! Perhaps one of the most interesting I've seen so far… Who are you ? Where am I ? I am the goddess who inhabits your Mjolnir. My name is Astrid! What ? A goddess ? I know you have a lot of doubts, but we have little time! Not to mention you were about to die hahaha - Mike gets annoyed that she's in such a good mood. Is it because of you that I can't dominate Mjolnir? Have you been stopping me all this time? Yes, I was the reason! I've been watching you, Mike, to see if you were capable of being in possession of Mjolnir. The last predecessors do not know of my existence or that a goddess inhabits Mjolnir. Astrid summarizes the story so Mike can understand. Roland and she are twin brothers. They were born thousands of years ago, when there were no Asgardians, let alone giants. Roland felt that because they were gods they couldn't mix with lesser beings, they had to live among them alone.

Roland was an angry god, who killed anyone who wasn't with him. One of the gods fell in love with a normal being and from that relationship had a son. Roland killed this god. Sending the message to everyone that any kind of external relationship was strictly prohibited.

This caused the irritation of several gods, including Astrid, who saw her brother increasingly distance himself and become an intolerant extremist. Furthermore, Roland had several followers who agreed with him. His power to manipulate and attract people was very convenient for his goals.

The sibling relationship was definitely cut off when he declared war on the whole world. Roland wanted the determination of anyone who wasn't a god, and anyone who wasn't by his side was a traitor. Astrid, seeing that her brother will become a tyrant, had to do something to stop him.

Unable to kill her brother, Astrid set out to seal him inside a weapon and if necessary sacrifice herself to stop her brother. And so she did, Roland knew that his sister did not agree with her ideals, but he never expected the betrayal of the very sister into which he had divided the mother's womb. After such events, pure gods gradually ceased to exist, contact between cultures was allowed and so emerged the giants, Asgardians, surtrs and other civilizations. However, Astrid could never live with the betrayal she did to her brother and so put herself in the same fate.

The goddess knows her brother is trying to get back, she can feel it weakly, but she feels Roland is trying to break free and it's only a matter of time before she does. He manipulates everyone around him so that he can fulfill his desire for annihilation, even more so after years of imprisonment. Too many years of cultivating hate.

After hearing Astrid's story, Mike is stunned. Everything makes sense now. The answers and the pieces he didn't have before now have them. And thanks to that he is sure his father is innocent. He tells the goddess:

So your brother is the cause of everything so far? He wants the destruction of the Asgardians and giants! He manipulated my father… The first one to find the sword was him! Yes he is back! I had my doubts if you would be able to stop him! But now I know you can! I understand! My brother is a very powerful being, Mike! Whoever uses the Man's Slayer will be very strong! Be careful! The goddess Astrid gives Mike the last smile and the room they were in starts to get dark and Mike again feels himself falling. He returns to the state he was in before, about to die. But this time he has Mjolnir. Lightning starts to come out of the hammer and aim it upwards. His body that was previously falling is now rising. You can see the light where Mike was pushed. The rays make noises and destroy the rocky walls of the hole.

Mike reaches the top where Bella and Woden are, who are happy with his arrival. They see Mjolnir fully synchronized with the boy. Hope lights up in their hearts. In front of them, Mike has lightning coming out of his body and Mjolnir. Now it is complete.
