The sun slowly rose up against Adel and Vermin's tent , while they were still asleep.

A few hours later , Adel suddenly woke up with a frown on his face, as he sensed powerful beasts moving towards him in a huge number.

Afterwards , he woke up Vermin who still wanted to sleep , but when she saw his serious face she nodded and got up without saying much.

They were then stunned as they saw beast packs were on the move, there were about 50 beasts in a pack , and around 10 packs were rushing in towards them.

Adel's frown got deeper as he glanced at their strength , all of them had body shell shedding realm strength , while the leaders of the packs had Qi transformation realm strength..

The sounds of their growls and the sound of the wind from beast packs running about were all heard by Adel and Vermin.

He started running towards somewhere safer , but he quickly encountered a pack of over one hundred Earth beasts in front of him.

Earth beasts then followed their leader , each as ferocious as they can be.

Their size was huge , around 7 meters long , 2 meters wide , they had a pair of legs that look frail and weak , but they were anything but that, they had huge eyeballs on their heads ,as their iris was as brown as the soil .

They were special beasts that only existed in this plane , or a much higher one , that had inherent memories of earth spells , thus being called earth beasts.

As for the master class earth beasts , albeit they were only at the Qi transformation realm , they were much stronger than the ones below them , thus leading to them having their name as the masters of the beast packs, and also leading them.

At this time, the earth beast masters that were leading the other beasts growled, opening their huge mouth.

Their fangs were sharp as a dagger, and in between, a formed a black ball in an instant.

The black ball shot out, drawing a curved black trajectory in the air and smashing on the next beasts next to them.

Adel and Vermin frowned as they knew that the beast masters didn't want to kill their underlings , but they had a specific goal in mind...

They soon got the answer to their questions as they saw the over 10 beasts dying in each pack , but as that happened a large beam suddenly got out of the ground as a huge beast was slowly being constructed..

In the process of the creation of the beast's , the beasts kept pounding on Adel and Vermin , but not their masters , as after that both Adel and Vermin realized that they were using Cannon fodder to tire them out for the bigger battle..

As for the process itself , large quantity of Earth along with the four energies were being sent towards a direction that was 10 meters above the ground , as there could be seen a faint red energy coming from the dead beast corpses, too going towards the same direction.

The beast slowly showed itself , it was a huge beast that was 11 meters tall that looked exactly like a turtle , yet it was all made of Earth so its color was brown.

It's eyes were closed , but then it suddenly opened and said in a loud voice that resounded in the entire plane :" So it's finally time to move these old bones of mine again , young man and.." The beast paused as it looked at Vermin in surprised , before continuing "..young woman , I didn't expect that you'll be here to face the calamity too , well that makes your calamity x4 times harder , x2 for the young woman being with you , and the other x2 is for keeping the balance when you took the jars full of potent energies.

As for the trial.."It then paused for a moment before moving it's hand in a quick manner , and then thin threads could be seen in the beast's hands , but then due to its size it only looked thin in the beast's perspective , but huge in others'

It then continued after a few moments"..It consists of four stages.

First stage is will test , that might even temper your will to a terrifying extent of you manage to use the trial to its fullest.

Second stage is heart demon test , it would make you experience all your mental demons .

Whilst the second trial seems dangerous , it is also a way to prevent future cultivation problems , if you manage to get rid of them of course.

Third stage is the patience test , it would make you lay on the void for a whole trillion years , but there's also a benefit to it as you can understand the laws laying in the void.

Beware though , as you can't use the laws of you manage to understand them in these trillion years.

As for the time it takes a genius to learn laws in the actual planes , it is around 200 billion years for learning the first grade of the laws.

The grades are divided into 10 realms in the first greater realm , 1-3 are the early realm , within the laws can't be used yet .

3-7 is the middle realm , you can learn simple spells for the specific laws.

7-9 is the late realm , where you can learn more difficult spells for the laws.

And finally , the 10th realm , that is the major step in order to step into the next greater realm.

As for the laws you can learn - Mostly the supreme laws are there , but there are also major laws that are difficult to learn , as for the simple laws , it is neither easy nor hard.

And finally the fourth stage , that is the extreme balancing test, which is you balancing between good and bad karma , and then having exactly one good karma point and one bad karma point.

As for the karma points , it'll be explained in the trial.

Alright , you both will participate in the calamity , since you both had the same gains , thus needing to balance the fortune events with misfortune events.
