As they left , Vermin then lead Adel to his room - Which was close to hers.
" Don't worry junior brother Adel, if you need something then don't hesitate and come to ask me as I'm right next door !
And don't miss the clan elders' session every morning! They give important information about cultivation, and also some true facts about the cultivation world! " said Vermin in an excited voice , then turned around and left to her own room.
Adel then shook his head and sighed , then turned around to enter his room.
The room was a mix of luxury and simplicity , as it had both combined into a style that resembled a medieval king's palace back on Earth, only a smaller and more luxurious version as it had pure gold infused in some of the building.
He then sighed as he thought about how the poor were treated homeless , without even a piece of bread to eat , yet these clan members make a whole room made of pure gold..
He shook his head as he was getting distracted , as he proceeded to sit into a middle-sized bed which was made of pure silk , with a blanket that made it extremely comfortable to use on the cold.
He then started sensing the Ki in the air, as the Ki sensing realm was mostly about Sensing the Ki element in the air , so the more powerful versions of Ki you feel in the air , the better quality of Chi you get once you transcend the mortal realm..
As for the stages , it was divided into early , middle , late , and peak stages .
Adel already had been through the Ki sensing realm , so he directly went through to the late stage , but he then stopped advancing as he was looking forward to a version more powerful than the one he had grasped upon in his previous body...
Time slowly passed while Adel was sitting cross-legged in his bed , as he suddenly got hungry which meant that it was already night time.

He then sighed bitterly as he thought to himself:
' I forgot that this is still a mortal body , so It still needs to do a few mortal needs , such as going to the toilet , cutting my nails , eating food, which when more you progress , the less needs you have.
I haven't eaten in a long time , nor cut my nails as they stop growing the moment one reaches the body shell shedding realm , where one's mortal needs gets replaced by Ki , which later gets replaced by Chi as the main energy source..' He then shook his head as he was getting ahead of himself.
'Now I need to think about getting food and where the toilet is..' He then thought that he didn't ask Vermin about it , so he got prepared to knock at her door to ask her about it.
-
{ Cutting nails is a necessity too , no? }
-
15 minutes later , Adel and Vermin were in a special section of the cafeteria which had all sources of beasts as food - below the Mana sensing realm.
Adel did notice that the food was rich in Ki , Nao , and had a bit of Mana in it , which made him think that Vermin got a hand on it.
Of which he was right , as the heirs of the clan , Vermin and other heirs get special treatment , so she brought Adel with her in the cafeteria to eat , as she wanted him to already have a feeling of Ki , Nao and Mana when he starts cultivating, but she didn't know that he already reached the late stage of ki sensing realm...
As they were eating , Adel then thought he forgot about some important questions , which he then proceeded to ask her about :
" Hey , senior sister Vermin , I forgot to ask you but where is the toilet ? And do you have any nail-cutter ? As you might know I still need to fulfill my needs.." Said Adel in a low voice as he was embarrassed to ask Vermin about such a thing, since he subconsciously still hadn't got over the fact that he isn't a Nao transformation realm cultivator..

" Oh yes! Actually the door that was between our rooms lead to a bathroom which has a toilet in it included , as for the nail-cutter , I can get you one tomorrow , with a trashcan to put the nails in.." As she was about to proceed , she was stopped by Adel who shook his head as he said :
"Actually don't worry about the trashcan, I'll just burn them since it's bothersome to throw them out there Everytime I cut them."
The actual reason though , was that Adel knew there were some underhanded methods which used the nails as a medium to curse the owner , or such things .
He didn't know about any cursers or such practicioners in this kingdom , but when he saw the evil cultivators he didn't want to take the risk.
They then continued to talk until Adel remembered about there being secret realms that have better quality of Ki , that can make someone advance to the matter of a month to the late stage of ki sensing realm ,of which Adel didn't have a problem of faking , so he asked without leaking any of his known information :
" Vermin , is there any better way for me to sense Ki in the Ki sensing realm? I think it's taking me too long to sense any Ki in the air.." Said Adel in a disheartened tone , but that was far from the truth , and he knew that he had to lie to get benefits he didn't have on his previous plans.
" Yes! Actually there's a secret realm over at there , at the top of the mountain..." She then motioned towards a mountain peak , close to where the clan head's mansion was , and continued:".. But it is were our ancestors are cultivating, since they have reached the Mana core formation realm and are close to entering the Qi sensing realm, that mountain has abundant amount of all 4 energies ( Ki , Nao , Mana , Qi ), and it is a place where all supreme class clans have .
But alas , only if that was true , as it is far too difficult for them to enter the Qi sensing realm, as sensing Qi is easier said than done." She then sighed as she thought of the number of ancestors her clan head but haven't succesed in entering the Qi sensing realm even after decades of cultivating
Adel knew the reason for this , as he too had been in a bottleneck at the Mana core formation realm for over ten years in his past body, and only after he knew the secret to it did he succeed.
'The secret to it was pretty simple , it's just sensing Qi and re-refining the soul and body with enough Mana , Nao , and ki until they show the signs of having an additional element on them.
And then after which one can finally sense the Qi on the air and grasp upon it , and then proceed to turn the thread of Qi into liquid to proceed into the Qi liquid transformation realm..' Thought Adel as he reminisced about his past , since it was pretty funny for a 'genius' like him to be in a bottleneck of that realm for 10 years without showing signs of advancing.

Vermin didn't know what Adel was thinking , as he still had a calm expression on his face , so she proceeded on telling him about the mountain peak..

8 107Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

8 323Revenant
Everyone dies. Not everyone gets back up again afterward. The Deep Paths are a cursed place, meant for those similarly cursed souls whom the gods themselves denied the sweet release of death. Revenants haunt the underworld, wielding forbidden powers and often consuming those who lack the strength to join them. At least, that's the story that parents teach their kids up on the surface. Reshid can't remember what he might have done to deserve such a fate, but he learns quickly that there is more to undeath than the gods and their faithful preach to the living. Revenants have a unique connection to essential magics that allows them to develop their powers in extremely diverse ways. Wherever there is power, though, there are those seeking to wield it, whether they be governments and gods from above, or mythical elder races from below.
