*WHOOOSH* ”GUAAA!” Goblin cried while dying. Jack just started to look for its magic stone. From the inside of little guy’s skull, he took out a little green crystal.
“Here you go Reuel.” At these words, the feline spirt appeared and snatched the crystal from boy’s hand. The cat just swallowed it without looking at it. “I wonder how many you have to eat before changing…”
He already eat stones of 20 goblins and 5 grey wolfs. These two are the most common demons in human’s territory. The demons are spawning everywhere where is a lot of magic gathered. Also some animals can change in the demons by hunting on them and eating the crystals.
How you can recognize the demon? It won’t have blood. Simple and correct way. That was what the Heroes learned before departing. Emily was taken by a church and Nick will venture by himself as a an adventurer.
Now Jack was on his way to Heavenly Mountain. In this he will be able to learn the strongest sword style in this word. At last he will try. Only one Hero was able to learn it before.
Jack looked up. “…It is already a pain.” He stood before the Heavenly Mountain. Or more accurately, before the stairs to the peak of it. “Well… Have to go!”
One eternity later.
“Heh…heh…” That trip was exhausting. The peak was on the level of clouds and because of stairs, the air pressure difference was very noticeable. “Al…most…ther…e…” If Jack ever went climbing, he might have felt better.
He finally saw the end. But there was someone standing there. “HoHoHo! Fresh meat!” The bulky man said while looking at the newcomer down. “My name is Hermoth! Did you came here to learn?”
“Ehhh?” Jack looked at him with tired expression. “Yes…”
“Good!” The man shouted. “So let the test begin!” As he said it, he taken out the little gong he was apparently holding behind him. *GOOONG* He hit it with a fist.
When the sound quieted down, the man started to gain a distance. “He?” But he was still standing without moving. Then Jack realized. ‘The stairs are moving!’ He tried to run ahead but already lost the feeling in his legs.

“Screw it! Reuel! [Yuzja]!” The cat spirit appeared and changed in the yellow light, that covered Jack’s body. Strengthening spirits can fuse with users to make them stronger. By doing it, the exhaustion disappears and stamina is increased.
Jack started to run up at his full speed. “Hohoho!” The man laughed surprised. “You can keep up?” He asked as Jack was getting closer rather slowly. “Then let’s start the second phase!”
“EH?!” Hero was surprised. The man on the top thrown a barrel at him. Jumping over it like a plumber, he saw that the next one was coming. In addition the stairs speeded up. “Now you’re asking for it!” He summoned his sword and slashed the barrel.
The sliced container was full of some strange oil. When it covered the stairs, Jack fell down on his face. He couldn’t stand up on the slippery surface. The man who was getting ready to throw the next barrel just sighed. “That was quick.”
But when he turned around he saw the tip of katana in front of his face. “How did you do that?” He asked Jack who was standing in front of him.
“I jumped off the stairs on the side.”
“You realize this is breaking the rules?”
“You realize you never explained the rules?”
“…Fair enough.”
*******
“I must say. Impressive.” Jack stated as he looked down. From the top he could see a valley hidden in the mountain range. The next day, the old man showed him this after agreeing to teach him.
“Yes. There are a lot of monsters, so you will go there and make your spirit rank 3 at last.” Then he grabbed Jack’s hand. “I wish you good luck.” Jack didn’t realize when the old man put a simple sword in his hand.
Then Jack was pushed off the cliff. “I will get you for that!” He shouted at him while falling.
*Booom*
While the Hero was getting up he could feel that miraculously his bones didn’t break. Then he started to look around. The quicker he kill things, the quicker he could leave. So he tried to summon his weapon. ‘Huh?’

It didn’t work. Then he noticed the bracelet on his hand. “[Analysis]!”
Soul block braceletBracelet that pervert wearer from summoning the soul weapons.
“…That guy…”

“Thank you for well done job!” Receptionist said while giving the reward to Nick. He just completed the quest in the adventurer’s guild.
Nick walked away while counting the money. It wasn’t big sum but it doesn’t matter. The quest was to exterminate the kobold’s group from the forest. Selling their magic stones will give him three times more.
Why sell them? Why don’t use them? Simple. The spirits could change their elements based on the stones they absorbed. From kobolds, the only element he could get is strengthening. But he won’t fight in the frontline while they have someone as Jack.
So Nick sold all magic stones to magic’s guild. Then when he saved up enough he bought the magic stone he wanted. The magmodile’s magic stone. What is magmodile? Crocodile who lives in magma.
“Now come here Zion!” Nick called to the little ball of energy. Zion absorbed the red stone in Nick’s hand and started to shine brightly. Because monster was much stronger than goblin or a wolf just one stone was needed for a rank up.
The will-o-wisp was now red and had two fly-like wings. “[Analyse]!”
ZionRank 2. Fire pixie.Spells- Fire shot

‘Hehehehe…’ Nick laughed in his head. Now what left is to rank up 5 others spirits. Of course he summoned more of them. Normally three was a limit, when 2 were much weaker than the main one. The reason was that the humans don’t have a lot of affinities. And if they do, spirits also can be more than one elemental.
But Nick could use every magic. Except the special ones as he learned. He couldn’t use [Holy flames] for example. Spatial magic sadly included. When he asked why, the mages just said that is just a case. He blamed the godly nerfs.
“Now come everyone! I get one for each!”

“What are you doing? You look annoyed and tired.” Dapelia asked Kabarin. God just rubbed his eyes and looked away from the floating screen.
“I am taking care of spirit’s rank ups.”
“Don’t you have a system for that?”
“It is unpredictable with Heroes. And the one of them have to contract six!” He stared back at the screen.
“And they are basic will-o-wisps! They can change into anything! I already set that when he tries to contract the next one, the lightning will hit him!”
“What so hard about it?”
“If they grow too strong or intelligent, they will rebel.”
“Oh…Hey! I have an idea!”
“I’m afraid already.”

“EHHH!” Emily’s head hit the table. It was third day when she was learning magic language. Jack had to remember two words and Nick just talked. But she must learn the words to use stronger spells.
She is currently in church’s main headquarters. This was the best place to learn light and healing magic.
“How are you doing miss Emily?” The elderly man asked.
He was the Grand Priest. Basically a pope. “Is it really needed to learn this?” Emily asked. The problem wasn’t the fact that she needs to learn completely new language. It was easy thanks to [Perfect Memory]. But the amount was unimaginable.
The every element has different language. The spells were very long and had in pronunciation. A lot of it wouldn’t even by used by her. So she just ended in another high school. “Well… you never know when it will be helpful. Beside it won’t take you that long to learn.”
“I hope so… beside how is Sheen?” She asked about her spirit.
“Ah! That reminds me that the dinner is ready!”
“Hey!”
Priest chuckled at his own joke. That he did every time the chicken is mentioned. “He will soon rank up. But that makes me wonder.”
“About what?”
“What we will eat tomorrow.”
