I eventually hit my back on the ground. I had fallen from great heights before but this fall shook me to the very core. I was slightly trembling even though I felt nothing. In the meantime, the shadow is leisurely taking its time coming to me as more thoughts came into my head.

My already irregular breathing starts getting deeper and deeper. Calmer and calmer.

Time passes as the shadow's humming becomes as loud as my thoughts. I can't really think anymore.
The shadow approaches its face to the point where I could smell it. It smells bad. It smells like a rotten corpse. A corpse that has been rotting for at least a decade. It's disgusting.

Noemi's body falls to the ground and a gorgeous lady in front of her. Noemi is clearly unconscious but the lady doesn't seem to care with it's back turned to her.
Noemi and this lady are completely different. While one is a petite girl, the other is a luxurious lady. One has purple hair, the other has golden hair. The ladie's eyes are covered by a blindfold but I feel like they have a deep sky blue color, I don't even know why I feel like that.

But above all, they both have the same presence. I can't begin to explain it but it's the same.
She snaps her fingers and light bursts from out of nowhere, making the shadow back off. Not only the shadow but every living being starts running away from the light...

I walk back into the city, not even noticing that my body had suddenly not only grown a little bit taller, but my hair and eyes had become a bit lighter.
While Noemi was looking at some stalls, she was startled by a sudden fox that suddenly jumped from a portal. Her look went from surprised to grim after a few seconds.

Kit couldn't even finish his first word before Noemi left.
«On it.» (???)
The voice wasn't Noemi's. It was much softer and seductive. She had no time to lose, both she and the fox knew very well what the shadow had been trying. Kit knew all that very well. His choice was the right one and at the right time.
