«Hey friendo buddy!» (Dwarf blacksmith)

I arrive at the small blacksmith's shop. He sees me, shouts and runs into the room in the back. After a few minutes, he brings a giant shield.

«It's done! It was quite the challenge to make it practical and easy to use but it's here! Try it, buddy!» (Dwarf blacksmith)

-It's not really for me but I might as well test its quality.-

I put each half of the shield in each arm. Right now it's a giant shield that is slightly bigger than me.

The shield was carved beautifully all over.

After using it for a while and shifting between giant claws and giant shield modes I noticed that one of the metal straps that held the left hand onto the shield could be easily taken off with a simple movement.

«Why is this strap like this?» (Me)

«Well, sometimes you need to attack while defending right? With it like that, you can just free one hand and grab a sword while keeping your shield up!» (Dwarf blacksmith)

At the moment I couldn't hide my excitement. With this, the team would become much stronger. We would have a true tank that can also attack instead of just taking hits.

I ate the weapon while making it look like I stored it in the inventory.

«How much do I owe you?» (Me)

«Come back with more weapon ideas and I'll give them to you for free! The base idea is much more valuable than the weapon itself!» (Dwarf blacksmith)

The dwarf starts laughing like a maniac.
