《The who that I really am》Neutral city of dragons

With Zey take away we walk into the city. It's a very lively city with a great variety of different species. From dragons to elves to imps even. Everyone here seems to live in harmony. The streets are lively with children running everywhere as their mothers sit in on the stairs of a house talking about daily things and gossiping like all mothers do. Men are carrying merchandise for the merchants in the market and some armed people walk out of the city, likely going to hunt for food or protect the camps that are cultivated in the outskirts of the city. The most noticeable thing is still that some nobles can be seen walking around. Those people make sure everyone knows they are nobles by the way they are dressed and by the great number of contracted people that follow them. No matter where you go, money rules everything. It's still kind of nice to see such a sight. Makes me believe that this world might actually be saved once I succeed. It feels me with determination.

«What's your name?» (Half-dragon)

«I have the name that everyone shall burn into their pitiful brains! As I am the great...» (Zey)

Zey gets hit by a sheathed sword on the back of his head and falls to the ground. The one who did it was an elf.

«Just tell us your name already! Making yourself important while you're a criminal... Don't you have shame?!» (Elf)

«I'm not a criminal! As I just said, I was prac...» (Zey)

«We hear you were practicing but that's obviously a lie! Why would you practice something that dangerous to begin with?» (Elf)

«I wanted to see what I could do...» (Zey)

«You little...!» (Elf)

«Hahahaha!» (???)

At that moment, an old dragon suddenly appears and starts laughing as everyone looks shocked at him. Once the half-dragon and the elf see the old dragon, they immediately bow down and get on their knees.

«Boy, what's your name? This time without the glory.» (Old dragon)

«Zey...» (Zey)

«Zey, you are free to go. This time you'll just get a warning so be careful where you practice next time.» (Old dragon)

«Yes! Thank you, sir!» (Zey)

Zey does a quick bow and runs away.

«Can we know why...» (Elf)

The elf didn't even manage to finish his sentence.

«That's a child. He got drunk in his new power and lost control over his surroundings. It's not something you haven't done. Not only that, that boy is already fated to be one with the dragon race, I can't have him delay such a fate.» (Old dragon)

The elf felt deep shame but it was all washed away by the announcement made right after. After all, this old dragon was the legendary Dragon of wisdom that could look into anyone's fate.
