《Over & Over》Over & Over: Crash 11

“That was actually not all that hard…”

He muttered to himself as he went back to the bar to rendezvous with Crash, Sam and Guillermo. Perhaps the Beiorgs thought their coin idea was so foolproof that they could still grant total secrecy to their members, but Luke saw it as a really exploitable flaw. After all, he’d probably just pulled off the greatest heist in the history of the Beiorg gang though Sam’s raid would probably top that by a factor of a hundred.

As he walked back he thought about what his next steps would be. Find Sam, give him the coin with the information on the warehouse, find Crashes regulator.

That was a pretty damn tall order… but he would just have to keep going if he was ever going to save Lexa. When he’d finally returned back to the bar he slipped inside the door and found Sam, Guillermo and Crash all waiting with the gang. Immediately he took the coin from his pocket and tossed it to the old man at the table who smiled to himself smugly.

“Gentlemen… it’s time.”

A few of the scaley skinned men grunted their satisfaction and Guillermo slammed a meaty hand down on the wooden table.

“You all know the plan! Greg’s group is gonna hit the warehouse with the bot and Luke, the rest of us are gonna hit the HQ! Understand? Get going!”

With that, a flurry of men ran outside into the night. Luke barely had any time to think before Crash had him hoisted up on a shoulder, the robot wheeze laughing through the dark.

“W-w-where ar-are w-we go-go-going?!”

“Woo! Sam said he’d transfer the location of the warehouse to us! Let’s get this shit going!”

Luke, who was bouncing on his metallic friend as they ran through the night, was barely able to speak due to the rough ride and simply went along with it. Without Lexa he never would have done something so stupid. Infiltrate a secret society and try to cause its downfall? What the hell was this storybook scenario anyways? As Crash shot past buildings and alleyways he realized just how much he had been through thus far, though it only felt to him like he was halfway there. If Mr. Setsuna and Crash took this much, what would he have to do for Pat and Z-mo, or even Lexa for that matter?

That wasn’t to say he cared, he simply wondered. He really would do anything. Anything to help the person that had done so much for him in only a week or so. It was stunning. Even he had completely changed.

“Alright! Let’s get down to the fucking docks pronto! Kudos Sam!”

After yelling that fairly loudly, Crash took a right turn into an alleyway and jumped over a few boxes and over a fence. He then ducked under a broken wall and Luke feared for his life every time Crash made a move. He felt like he was going to die on this bastards shoulders!

A few seconds later Crash jumped onto and slid down a long metal beam, holding on with an elongated arm and riding it almost like some sort of halfpipe. Finally, he jumped a ways down to the ground and they were at the docks. Immediately, Luke could see the dark eyes of the scaled men walking towards him and they got in a rank and file line. The group leader, Greg, took to the front and took the coin out of his pocket. Hitting a few buttons, a holographic projection was brought up in the men’s vision, and he looked towards one of the warehouses sitting out near the water. A pointed finger and a smile was all the others needed, and Crash began to run towards the warehouse as well.
