《A New Light In Interria》Chapter 23: Explanation

After talking to Albert, we went out and took the items from the basket. And then when we got back to the carriage, she put my arm around my neck and laughed.
“Hades, you are a very nice person.”
“Huh. I just felt like I needed to tell him that.” I answer.
“In the morning we went too fast without having breakfast, how about we go back to Amae's place for lunch Let me treat you and Veene for helping me today, without you, I would probably have spent an extra 1 or 2 more days here.”
“That is very nice of you, Sophia. And may I ask some questions at the dinner table?” I answer honestly.
“Of course.” Sophia smiled.
We returned to the inn and started ordering. Sophia insists on calling the most delicious meal in the inn. After a short wait, Amae brought three large plates of grilled wild boar to our table.
“Holy Morlock. Where do you get Piggonis meat from? Normally it would require a large amount of money to get guilders willing to hunt them.”
“Hehe. About 6 days ago, a dead knight came here as a commission to find some materials in the northern forest. After three days, I thought that he was really "dead" this time, turn out that day he came here with a bloody body and brought a bruised Piggonis here for me. You must see the face of the whole village when he comes here with an injured Piggonis." Amae laughed continuously.
DeathKnight? I remember in the book there was a mention of the dead knight in the Unholy group. I opened the book and turned to the page about the Unholy group.
*The Unholy group is a collection of sentient beings from dungeons. The difference between the Unholy group and other individuals in the dungeon (Spawn) is that they have the ability to be unaffected by the dungeon (like looking for nearby bad guys to attack) and was discovered for the first time by Morlock during an expedition into the dungeon. After more than a year of deliberation, Arania decided that those individuals would be granted citizenship and considered a hominoid. Note: some Unholy like zombies, dead knights are quite "sensitive" to light magic."

I turned the page about dead knights.
*Dead knight of the unholy group is the name given to several special individuals escaping from dungeons. They were powerful souls possessed by the knights who had died in the dungeon, resurrected to merge into their former armor which usually means their original body has been destroyed so bad to be reused. They have a special skill that allows them to restore damaged body armor as long as their souls are not damaged too much.*
“Just one? Usually, it takes a small party to capture a Piggonis. And that's another dead knight. Usually, there are only about 5 death knights in Interria.” Sophia thought.
“Do you look at yourself in the mirror, girl? You are the only elf who has been running around Arania. If I hadn't met you, I would still think elves are a bunch of introverts who love to live in the massive forest. What are the odds of me being friends with a merchant elf and a talkative death knight? Life is truly strange, isn't it ?” Amae smiled and pat Sophia's head.
“Sister Sophia is the only elf who has been running around Arania.” Veene looked at me and Sophia with interest.
Veene, please for the love of gods, don't blow my cover.
"What's wrong?" Sophia confused.
“It's nothing, sister Sophia,” Veene answered.
We ate Piggonis meat. Veene seems to like this meat very much. It is true due to the richness of the spice of the gravy and the deliciousness of the meat.
“And anyway, I have many things to ask.” I tried to change the subject of the conversation.
“How can you create that portal thing in front of the sanctuary ?”
“You mean the skill “Pocket Dimension”, right? Yeah, it's not very rare, only took you about 1 gold to get that skill.”

“Get that skill?” I started to feel confused.
“Ah yes, there are many ways to learn a skill. One of its is to use a skill scroll, however, it only applies to some skills. Just tearing the scroll that matches the skill you need is BOOM! You already have that skill.” She said while feeding Puff some meat.
“I noticed you don't even need to chant to activate that skill.”
“That skill I used quite a few times. When you have a lot of experience in using a skill, you may not need to chant.”
"Really. I feel uncomfortable with what happened to that man at the sanctuary.” I covered Veene's ears.
“Even if you feel uncomfortable, there is nothing you can do. They have “Kill Permission” after all.”
“Kill Permission ?” I suddenly asked.
“You can think of it as a legal license that allows you to kill or torture a guilty or indiscriminate person. It is only granted to “special” individuals and organizations, however, those who did will bear full responsibility for such events if things go south.” Sophia enjoyed the grilled Piggonis and seemed to take the Kill Permission story for granted.
What kind of world is that? Is it normal to kill the guilty with a license? I sighed as I thought about what happened. We continued to enjoy the meal, although I think I lost my appetite.
