Chapter 13 ~ A Princess that I should help

A loud voice coming from the forest? Who would it be?

After reaching the forest. I saw a girl with the tip of an arrow on her back, coughing blood, bleeding all over the place, and a broken left arm holding a sword. 5 pursuers wearing knights armor and seems all high-level JINX users.

"Hime! (princess) Just surrender yourself to us..."

Dirty eyes and a perverted way to talk. My first impression of those knight pursuers.

"You bastard. After abducting my sister. You're going to chase after me now! Who's your boss!? Tell me!"

"You disgusting piece of sh*t!" The princess attack forward without any plan resulting in her sword got flanked. She got kicked and pinned on the wall while coughing more blood.

She already gave up on fighting. One of the knights is going to stab her. That's where I enter the battlefield.

The girl opens up her eyes and holds my hand.

"P-please! R-run! You can't fight them. Just leave me here.*cough*"

It's a word of someone that doesn't want to be involved with other people even her demise is upfront. She already can't talk but she still didn't want someone to get involved. It's someone that I don't mind helping with.

"Don't worry... Your safe now. Just close your eyes and I will heal your wound later."

She faints out. There are five knights, 3 are Fire element Jinx user and 2 of them are Wind element Jinx user.

One of them is really pissed off and just charges on me.

"Your just a kid! DIEEE!"

Even he rushed his attack. The way he swings his sword is still polished. So I didn't hold back myself.

I begin to cast healing magic on the girl. She still didn't wake because of exhaustion. And so I bring him to the inn.

I just teleported in the shadows and put her on the bed. She's breathing heavily and her clothes are beaten up. I decided to buy her some clothes first when I hear some knights talking.

I found out that. The effect of the lost energy can be solved by drinking those elixirs. It's still not an hour past so, that knight can't wake up.

I rushed to the Inn. And change the girl clothes. But hey! I didn't look. I'm a gentleman but she smells nice even after getting beat up that bad.

I got the reward of 20 Gold coins from killing goblins. The girl wakes up after 2 days. She's not on her sense for a couple of minutes but after that the first word he speaks up is; "Thank you for s-saving me..." then started to cry in a low tone.

I asked her why she's being chased and told me this.

Since her mother got assassinated. They got a stepmother and become the new queen of Historia City. Their life becomes unattainable. When her twin finds out who is the mastermind of her mother's case. She got kidnap, after researching she found out about it too. And got started to be chased up by those knights.

After telling me the story. She stands up and started to walk outside even she can't stand up that well. She thanked me and try to leave. But I stop her.

"What are you doing?"

"I didn't know how you feel. But I can help you with your problem."

"Look! We look the same age. But the difference is that this is my problem. Involving and placing you in danger is something I can't do."

Her words are all lie. She wanted to take my help but her mind and heart telling her that she shouldn't involve innocent people.

"You dirty your hand for me. So please! That's enough help you lend me."

"I didn't kill them. From the looks of your aura. Your hex is about 500 thousand. Do you think you can win with that?"

I persuade and tell her about her weaknesses over and over again.

"I can't take other lives even if I wanted to. I will help you save your sister, just trust me."

She sat on the floor, lean towards me, and cry. I calmed her down while giving him the Element of wind.

She cries until she fell asleep. This gives me a new goal and journey in life. I promise that I will help you, and I'm Nishihara Yoshiyuki, always do my promises!
