Chancellor Allan glanced at him before returning his gaze to Prince Lucian.
"B-but he..."
Prince Lucian interrupted him.
"I know you are afraid of him, but I can assure you... He will protect this kingdom far better than Xenos."
"Your Highness, this is about the Kingdom of Euphorion's fate and hundreds thousands people's lives." said Duke Nicolin worriedly.
Prince Lucian turned his gaze to Duke Nicolin.
"It's fine, Duke Nicolin, I have known him for a very long time... I know what kind of person he is..."
"But-"
Before Duke Nicolin finished his words Prince Lucian's body began to fade.
"Looks like I don't have much time." said Prince Lucian while looking at his hand which began to look transparent. Duke Nicolin and Chancellor Allan looked at him with sad expressions. Prince Lucian shifted his gaze at them again.
"I hope you're willing to cooperate with him to rebuild this kingdom." he added.
Prince Lucian looked at him once more.
"Angelus Raizel... I entrust this kingdom with you."
Angel responded him with a nod and a smile.
Prince Lucian knelt one knee before him and bowed.
"Long live King Angelus!" he shouted then he disappeared like smoke.
Duke Nicolin looked down and clenched his fists.
"If Euphorion doesn't have a ruler then this kingdom will be in chaos, now the four elements spirit already admitted him. Even you too, Prince Lucian... If that's what you want... We can only follow your will. "then he knelt down one knee and bowed.
"Long live King Angelus!"
The whole room except Chancellor Allan immediately followed him to knelt one knee and bowed.
"Long live King Angelus!"
Chancellor Allan looked at him, his eyes trembled with emotions.
"Angelus Raizel, if you can't fulfill your promise to Prince Lucian. I am the first person who will take you down from the throne."

"I told you, I'm not someone who likes to break my promises." he replied.
Chancellor Allan finally knelt down one knee and bowed.
"Long live King Angelus!"
He secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank you, Lucian, this really helped me to take over Euphorion faster and avoid more casualties."
"Rise up." he ordered.
Everyone in the room stood up following his orders.
"About today's incident, Chancellor Allan, how are the wounded troops?" he said as he turned his gaze to Chancellor Allan.
"We have taken them back to the barracks and treated them there, their wounds are not life-threatening." answered Chancellor Allan.
"Pay attention for their treatment. For the dead victims give them proper burials, including the late King Xenos. We will hold his funeral in the near future."
"Yes, Your Majesty." Chancellor Allan replied.
He shifted his gaze to Duke Nicolin.
"Duke Nicolin, I am assigning you to lead the troops to clean up today's mess. Also tell Luminus City's civilians that the castle is fine to calm them down."
"Yes, Your Majesty." Duke Nicolin replied.
He raised up from the throne.
"That's enough for today. The court is dismissed, we will continue by tomorrow morning."
"I need some of magic users and guards to come with me to the magic room. I need to repair the magic formation." he said as he walked toward the exit past people who bowed to salute him.

Raven: The Beginning
'What's the worst that could happen'? is what I thought to myself as I entered the World of the Veil with a new, experimental machine that the company created. I was originally excited to participate in their alpha test, and now, looking back, I was just a naive little girl that didn't know what it was like to truly suffer. Sarah was one of the world's best assassin players, but she wasn't prepared for getting stuck as a low-level player in a new game. Suddenly she has to struggle just to survive against the monsters of the world, while also keeping her secret from the authorities. What happens when the killing, and the consequences, are just too real? Author's Note (and a Warning): This book is about a normal person that is forced into a fantasy / medieval environment. What could possibly go wrong with our heroine? This novel is a sort of, legacy. I wanted to at least put it out there before I passed away due to a combination of financial difficulty, homelessness, job loss, and my last interview taking up the last of my savings (which I did not get the job). If by some miracle, and I get a job that can give me a pay advance by next week (4/8) and I survive this turbulent time, I will edit this - and the formating of the book). If you are so willing, please donate on my patreon page. Regards, Dave
