They entered a large room with white walls and gold ornaments adorning their surroundings, large pillars lined around them. In the center of the room there was a large magic formation that shined silver white. The magic room is a room where magic formations are placed that exist in every castle, this room very tightly guarded and protected by protective magic, only the king and his descendants that have the access of this room.
As soon as they entered the room, King Xenos immediately approached a large fine marble with magic formation that glowed white in the middle of the room and examined it.
"There is no problem with the magic formation... But why does the explosion keep happening?" King Xenos was silent and deep in thoughts.
"This is strange... Only me, Guillotine and the four elemental spirits who can use magic in this place. The four elemental spirits already made a contract with me when I became king, they can't betray me. Is Guillotine behind all this? It can't be... He's my trusted person... Did the guard lie to me? "
King Xenos turned around, approached Angel and threw his punch again.
"How dare you lie to me!" he shouted.
Angel was thrown back to the floor.
"Hold him!" he ordered.
Some guards made him kneel and hold him. King Xenos extended his hand preparing to cast one of his deadly spell.
"Your Majesty... Please investigate this matter. It's about your safety... You saw it yourself that he used magic in this castle. " said Angel pleading.
"Shut up!" snapped King Xenos, his hand was ready to cast his spell.
Angel lowered his head, his eyes turned cold as his plans for turning King Xenos against General Guillotine failed. He began to focusing his dark aura in preparation to withstand King Xenos's attack.

Suddenly General Guillotine entered the room, he immediately approached King Xenos and bowed to him.
"Your Majesty, did you call me?"
King Xenos turned to him, but his hand was still pointing at Angel.
"Have you found the culprit?"
General Guillotine shook his head with an apologetic expression.
"We found traces of magic everywhere but we haven't found the culprit."
King Xenos's gaze returned to Angel, he looked at him angrily a few moments then he suddenly shifted his hand at General Guillotine and threw a magic spell at him. General Guillotine cried out in pain filled the room as a white light from King Xenos's hand struck his body, soon his body was covered in white light and slowly shattering to ashes.
All the guards startled in shock and retreated away from General Guillotine who had turned into a pile of ashes.
King Xenos lowered his hands.
"No one here can use magic power besides both of us and there's no problem with the magic formation. Guillotine... how dare you betray me!" he said as he staring angrily at General Guillotine's ashes.
Everyone curled in fear after seeing King Xenos's power.
"Release him!" ordered King Xenos.
They released Angel and he fell weakly to the floor before King Xenos while keep his head down.
"Thank you... Your Majesty..." he said in panting.
King Xenos looked at him with contemptuous gaze, snorted in annoyance then he kicked him once more before walked past him to the exit, followed by the four elemental spirits.
Angel's hand emitted dark aura that reshaped his sword, then he threw his sword right at the 'magic shield' formation in front of him. In an instant the light of the magic formation dimmed and the 'magic shield' that protected White Moon Castle disappeared.
King Xenos steps stopped and quickly turned around in surprise.

Angel stood up and turned to face King Xenos with an evil smirk on his face
"For killing General Guillotine..." he continued.
Flare immediately throws her fire chakram and Gale shoots his arrow at him. Frost and Gaia took out their weapons, covering King Xenos to protect him. King Xenos directed his hand while casting 'holy beam' towards him.
He jumped back to avoid their attacks then grabbed his sword which was still stuck in the middle of the formation and quickly swung it to brushed off all the arrows that fired at him. His eyes continued to pay attention to King Xenos.
"C'mon attack me."
King Xenos's hand released a white light at him, Angel immediately directed his hand at King Xenos and released his dark aura. Their attack collided in their midst creating an extraordinary impact on the surroundings accompanied by a loud explosion sound.
-BOOM!
The room shook violently, strong winds threw everyone in the room crashing into the walls and pillars around them. Smoke and dust soon filled the room, making their sight unclear.
He focuses his dark aura on his feet and dashed forward to King Xenos. Suddenly two swords swung towards him, each swing of the sword produced a piercing cold air, which could freeze its surroundings. Angel brushed off his attack and continued move forward, shortly a large axe swung towards him and stuck into the floor in front of him. In a second, the floor before him formed a stone wall that prevented him from moving forward, before the stone wall completely covered his path he threw his sword at King Xenos.
Two swords swung at him again accompanied by two fire chakram, he quickly retreated to avoid it. A moment later a loud scream of pain could be heard, the smoke that filling the room began to disappear and they could see a black sword stuck in King Xenos's left shoulder.
He clicked his tongue.
"I missed again. I guess I need more training."

Parallels
Parallels are a constant in life. Our friends' lives often run parallel to ours; we share similar experiences or tastes- perhaps even both. Sometimes, however, opposites attract- and our lives run perpendicular. In that case, we are not attracted by similarities; rather, we are attracted to the differences in others. So, what happens when two parallels are broken apart? What might happen to them? Are they forever doomed to run alongside each other, never seeing one another, never meeting? Or, perhaps, might they be spun about? Could these lines that formerly ran alongside one another meet? Could they possibly be set perpendicular? Any feedback is welcome, so long as it is constructive. Also, you may not use any characters, ideas, places, or what have you that I present here without my explicit permission. A note: This is a story which I began over a year ago, but never got around to finishing- it feels about time to really get it going. Now, there are a couple of things about the story, and myself, that need to be said. First and foremost, there's a slow start, but by the third-fourth chapter things should be speeding up a bit. Secondly, in regards to release speed and/or word count per chapter, I make no promises- my schedule is fairly random, and in regards to word count, I will cut off any chapter at any point that feels appropriate to me- that may include cliffhangers, if necessary. I'm not trying to reach a specific word count, I am trying to create a cohesive story, with pseudo-appropriate chapter breaks. This means I will also not rush a half-baked release for the sake of getting a release out. Thirdly, I will make any edits, anywhere in the story and at any time, that strike me as necessary- typically being wording and/or formatting changes, but I may also decide to change major plot points- in that case I would put a notification in the next chapter released. Finally, and most importantly, I am a Christian; this story is intended to at least moderately reflect those values. So, if you particularly dislike any of these things, feel free to look elsewhere, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. God bless, friends.
