Just a small distance away from the entrance, a large gathering of people from all ages could be spotted. Just by a single glance, one could easily count at least 50 heads.

「What's happening there?」Yuna

「Someone might be doing very well in a game. Wanna check it out?」Grey

「Un.」Yuna

Driven by curiosity, Yuna and I joined the gathering and also watched the rumored girl fa in a game, but contrary to my expectations, it wasn't a simple game. It made me realize once again that I was in a different world.

It was a game wherein a summoner will summon a creature that the player has to defeat. Thankfully, the summoner has full control of the creature, ensuring the safety of the crowd.

As for the girl that was participating in the game, she was quite young, about the same as us. She seemed to be a student from the Royal Academy.

Other than that, there was something about her that interests me. She somewhat resembles someone I know with that blonde hair of hers and facial structure.

「She seems familiar...」Yuna

Yuna was also having the same thoughts as me. I was about to use 『Appraisal』on her when...

The summoner declared her victory, making the crowd cheer loudly and happily, and blocking my view of the girl, making it impossible to appraise her.

By the time the crowd cleared, the girl was already gone, and not just her, Yuna was also gone. I didn't even notice her leaving my side. She really was worthy of the nickname "Phantom".

For a few minutes, I tried to find where Yuna was, and when I did, strangely enough, she was with the girl from before. They seemed to be acquainted with each other already.

So she's Liz's older sister... No wonder she looked so familiar. She does look like a grown up version of Liz.

「I heard from Yuna-san that you once guarded my little sister. I'm really grateful for that. I hope Liz didn't cause too much trouble to you.」Elise

Unlike her little sister, Elise was very graceful and reserved, just like how a proper lady should act. Well, it could just be a facade since she's in public, just like how Vanessa-neesan acts.

I wonder if Liz will also become like her when the time comes... Probably not. It's Liz we're talking about after all...

「Also... I heard about how Liz indirectly called me flat. That girl... I going to give her a piece of my mind when she arrives here...」Elise

Elise mumbled in a low voice. It seemed like Yuna already talked about a lot of topics with her, including the odd ones.

Haha... I hope she would go easy on Liz...

Oh, right. I should probably ask Elise about that. I've been curious about it for some time now.

「I am. And I'm not trying to brag, but I'm in the alpha class of year 2.」Elise

But Year 2's alpha class... Isn't that the class that Yuna is going to be the instructor of?

Somehow, I feel relieved knowing that Yuna has someone she knows amongst the class she's about to teach.

「Oh, it's already getting late. I should get going now. My mother's going to scold me if I go home too late.」Elise

「Then how about we all go home together? Your house is at the noble's district, right Elise-san?」Yuna

「Not really, but right now, we're staying at the Aldridge family's mansion. Veronica-san was kind enough to let us to.」Grey

I think that explanation is good enough. It would be troublesome if she finds out about our real identities. Well, she would find out tomorrow anyways so what I did might be useless.

Well, I just don't want things to get awkward between her and us, especially that we just met her.

With that decided, the three of us went home together, and needless to say, on the way there, we became the center of attention once again.

And with two beautiful ladies by accompanying me, the glares of men became much nastier than the ones in the morning.

Just as Yuna said, in front of us, there was the gate towards the noble's district and since the guards already knew of us, they just let us pass without much hassle.

... a lady who seemed to be in her late twenties suddenly shouted towards Elise. She seemed to have waited for her for some time.

「Do you have any idea how worried I was?!」???

「Sorry, okaa-sama, I just happen to run into some friends.」Elise

And despite how young she looked, she was actually Elise and Liz's mother. It made me wonder if everyone looks young in fantasy worlds.

「Friends?」Elise's Mother

Elise's mother said as she took a peek at us.

「They're Yuna-san and Grey-san, I met them on the carnival today.」Elise

「Good evening.」Grey

「Oh, good evening as well. Thank you for accompanying Elise until here. I hope she didn't bother you two too much.」Elise's Mother

「Actually, we should be the ones saying that. She even got home late because we got her too engaged with our talk.」Grey

「Ara ara, what polite young people you are. Elise, you should surround yourself with people like these. I'm proud that you have friends like these.」Elise's Mother

Although they were mother and child, I just can't help thinking that they were sisters. Elise's mother just looks so young, and with the way they're treating each other, it makes me doubt if they really were mother and child.

「Oh, right. By the way, okaa-sama, did you know that Grey-san and Yuna-san had guarded Liz before?」Elise

「Now that you mention it, Fritz did mention that in a letter once... Oh, how rude of me, my name is Eleanora Landevar, Fritz's wife and mother to Elise and Eliza. I'm grateful for you taking care of Liz.」Eleanora

「Do you want to have dinner with us?」Eleanora

「We'd love to but we'll get scolded if we get home too late.」Grey

Eleanora-san said, clearly looking disappointed. But it can't be helped since it was almost 7 in the night already.

As we waved our goodbyes to each other, Elise was still puzzled over what Yuna said to her. She just didn't understand what Yuna meant by it.

While thinking of such thoughts, Yuna and I headed back to the Aldridge family's mansion, and since we haven't had the chance to hold hands that much because there were so many people watching us, while we were walking back home, we linked each other's hands ever so tightly.

Well, I say hands but our arms were also touching one another's. We really looked like a super clingy couple. Thankfully, there weren't anyone watching because of the time and the fact that we were in the noble's district.

Just a few minutes after time struck seven, we finally arrived back at the Aldridge mansion, and contrary to our expectations, Veronica-san didn't scold us. Rather, she even looked really happy.

「Did the two of you enjoy your date?」Veronica

「Un. It was quite fun.」Yuna

「Well, everything was fun save for the fact that we got a lot of stares directed at us all day.」Grey

「It was really uncomfortable.」Yuna

「Fufu. Well, it can't be helped when such a young and gorgeous couple is walking in broad daylight. Why don't wー」Veronica

「Whoa, Yuna-neechan is so pretty! And Grey-niisan looks so cool!」Galvin

「Galvin, stop being so rowdy.」Elnart

Before Veronica-san could finish her words, Galvin barged in on our conversation. Elnart tried to stop him but his effort was in vain. Galvin was just too much for him to handle.

「Oh dear, looks like Vin-kun is already done with his studies.」Veronica

「Hey, hey, Grey-niisan, Yuna-neechan, I helped out in dinner again!」Galvin

Galvin declared proudly with his chest puffed out. He was really proud of helping out with making dinner.

「Really? What a good boy you are, Galvin-kun. Keep up the good work.」Yuna

「Yeah!」Galvin

「I also helped out, you know...」Elnart

Elnart said with a little pouting face. It seemed like he wanted to be praised too.

「Of course. Elnart-kun is also a good child.」Yuna

But with just a simple compliment from Yuna, his mood quickly did a 180. It made me realize how simple children are.

「Speaking of dinner, I was about to invite the you two. We already went ahead but I reserved food for the two of you.」Veronica

「Oh, thank you.」Grey

「Don't mention it.」Veronica

「Grey-niisan, Yuna-neechan, please eat what onii-sama and I cooked!」Galvin

「We will. Is it delicious?」Yuna

With the flow of the conversation continuing like that, all of us headed to the kitchen where Yuna and I ate dinner while Veronica-san interrogated us about the things that happened on our date.

As for the children, Veronica-san told them to go to bed. Although Galvin seemed full of energy, he quickly became sleepy when the word "bed" was mentioned.

The dinner that Galvin and Elnart had was also delicious. Well, that's to be expected since professional chefs also took part in cooking it.

After that hearty meal of ours, Yuna and I headed to our room and changed back into our casual outfits. And casual clothes really were the best. It's more comfortable and much easier to move in than the ones we wore in the morning.

Just when I hopped on the bed and was about to sleep, Yuna approached me shyly with a flushed face. She looked really cute, but since it was so sudden, it made me confused instead.

「Is there something wrong?」Grey

「Umm... H... Here...」Yuna

Yuna reached out her hand while holding one of the bracelets she won on top of it, making me even more confused.

「It's for you...」Yuna

「For me?」Grey

「Un...」Yuna

Still confused as to what was going on, I received the bracelet from Yuna's hands. All while trying to figure out why Yuna was so flustered.

「Sorry... Although, it's my first gift to you, it's nothing compared the necklaー」Yuna

Before I even realized it, my body moved on it's own and embraced Yuna as if there was no tomorrow. My heart was beating insanely quickly, it could explode at any moment.

I was really happy.

「Thank you. I'll treasure it.」Grey

「Un...」Yuna

Although I was supposed to be the one who should give something to my girlfriend, what ended up happening was the opposite. In spite of that, my heart wound stopped pounding madly. It was one of the happiest moments of my life.

Oh, how I wish everyday would be like this.
