A loud noise resounded throughout the room, and the one behind it was none other than Gabal. No, it would be more appropriate to say that I ordered Gabal to.

《Hijack》, a curse magic spell which allows the user to control the target like the puppet. Although it only works on living things that are at least two ranks lower than the user, it's still a powerful spell.

Anyway, his『Temptation』sure was useless. Also, was it just me or was he treating me like a child? His lines were too sloppy, there's no way he was able to tempt someone like that.

If he wanted to control someone, he should have learnt curse magic instead. Maybe he would have a chance to control me just like what I'm doing to him.

For a couple of minutes now, I had been testing my control over my new puppet (Gabal), and the loud noise earlier was the result of me ordering him to do a triple backflip. Although he was successful, he crashed on the table when he landed, wasting everything on the table, including the delicious pastries.

Anyway, now that I've already confirmed how effective《Hijack》is, I should probably go to the main point now.

「Gabal, tell me, who ordered you to do this?」Grey

Just a few seconds after Gabal left the room, there was a room banging coming from somewhere in the room. When I checked out where it came from, I found an elderly man tied to a pillar behind the curtains.

Huh? Has he been here all the time?

I then untied the man from the pillar and set him free, and when he was set free, the first thing he did was massage his shoulders and arms.

Ah... He must have been tied up here for some time. His shoulders are already stiff...

「Ah! How rude of me! Sorry for the late introduction, I am called Argas, president of the Sagrada Company.」Argas

Because I was suspicious if he was also pretending like Gabal did, I checked him out with my 『Appraisal』. And when I did, it turned out that he wasn't lying.

In order to answer Argas-san's question, I told him the details of how I got there, excluding the fact about me using curse magic. After I stated my side, Argas-san told me how he ended up getting tied in the pillar behind the curtains.

Apparently, while he was preparing for our meeting, Gabal came out of nowhere and knocked him out. Because of that, he was unconscious all the time I was conversing with Gabal, and only woke up because of the loud noise from Gabal crashing.

「I apologize for letting you experience that sort of situation, Grey-sama.」Argas

「Don't worry about it. Also, can you please keep quiet about this?」Grey

「Why so?」Argas

「Let's just say it involves a really important case.」Grey

「I see... Then you have my words, Grey-sama.」Argas

After that, I decided to stay in Argas-san's home for a while and chatted with him about a lot of things, mostly revolving around appliances.

And I wasn't staying for no reason. Having seen how Gabal acted after being under my control, he'll probably return to this place when he finishes his task. Though, I'm not even sure that he can complete it.

Well, let's just hope for the best.

【【Third Person POV, Algerio's House】】

Not muttering a single word, Gabal traversed the hallway, heading towards Algerio's office.

「Good evening, Gabal-san」

A maid tried to greet him on the way there, but because of Grey's order, Gabal did not respond back. But he was not targeted by suspicion as this is how Gabal normally acts towards the other servants.

Gabal did not bat an eye to the maid and continued to travel towards his destination.

And as if luck was by his side, when he entered the office, there was not a single soul there. But even if there was, Gabal wouldn't have cared and would have still continued to carry out his task.

Without wasting any time, Gabal opened up the drawers and cabinets, and searched them for documents and articles that can prove Algerio guilty. Papers were scattered on the ground and supplies fell out the table. It was a mess.

After laying waste to Algerio's office, Gabal then headed to Algerio's bedroom where he did the same thing. But because of how messy Gabal was, he woke up the sleeping Algerio from his slumber.

「Huh...?」Algerio

There was a long silent pause when the eyes of the two met. It was a moment wherein the success of Gabal's task was on the line.

「Oh, it's just Gabal...」Algerio

But after seeing the face of Gabal, Algerio lied down back on his bed and continued with his sleep.

It was a miracle that Gabal was not discovered. But the puppet Gabal did not seem to care and just carried out with his task.

【【Grey's Perspective】】

「Oh, so it uses lightning mana crystals to power it...」Argas

Currently, I am showing Argas-san how a blender works. We were so engaged in our conversation about appliances that I ended up showing a couple of appliances I created using the concepts from my past life.

「So, how does this work?」Argas

「You take fruits, berries, or other foods and place them in this glass container, after that, you put in some ice and then turn it on. The blades will rotate at high speeds and cut up the foods into tiny bits while mixing them with the ice. After a few seconds, a shake will be ready for serving.」Grey

「Oohh... What a magnificent invention! Did you create this Grey-sama?!」Argas

Well, technically, I invented it in this world since there are no such things as mana crystals back in Earth. But the concept was not mine to begin with, so it would be better to call it an innovation rather than an invention.

But... explaining all those things to Argas-san is too bothersome, especially the concept of Earth, so I'll just nod quietly.

「As expected, Grey-sama really is a genius!」Argas

「Ah, no, Iー」Grey

While I was having a conversation with Argas-san, a sudden knocking from the door interrupted us.

「Who is it?」Argas

Argas-san asked but there was no answer.

Since I had a hunch in who it was, I offered to check the door for Argas-san, and when I opened it, my hunch was proved right. On top of that, Gabal seemed to have accomplished his task.

「Argas-san, something important just came up, I'll be going now!」Grey

「I'm thankful, but there's really no need to. See you next time!」Grey

Before Argas-san could mutter another word, I already made my escape with Gabal just tailing behind me.

A few minutes later, we had arrived at the mansion. But knowing that the guards will check Gabal's identity, I ordered Gabal to wait outside quietly.

「Ah, Grey, you're back...」Yuna

Yuna said after she noticed me. She was with Rosa-san and they seemed to be talking about something before I came.

「Am I disturbing something?」Grey

Yuna denied what I said while shaking her hands frantically before me. It was also worth noting that her face was somewhat flustered.

「Fufu, then I'll be leaving the both of you alone. Please call on me when you need something, Yuna-sama, Grey-sama.」

Rosa-san then slowly left us alone all while humming happily. She seemed like she was having a good time before I came.

With Yuna by my side, I headed towards Fritz's office and when we arrived there, we were greeted by Sebastian-san before we went inside. Another thing that greeted us when we entered the office was a mountain of paperworks, just like last time.

「Fritz, take a look at these!」Grey

「This is...... !!!」Fritz

Upon reading the documents I handed him, Fritz's sleepy eyes widened in shock and his movements became livelier as he hastily checked the documents before him.

「Grey, how did you get your hand on these?!」Fritz

Answering Fritz's query, I explained to him and Yuna how the afternoon tea party turned out to be a trap, and how I managed to turn things around.

「Curse magic... I see...」Fritz

「I would be happy if you won't tell anyone about it.」Grey

「You have my word. But still... what you did was amazing... with these, we can prove Algerio's crimes! I'm really grateful, Grey.」Fritz

「Don't worry about it. I just don't want Liz to come in harm's way. But if you really want to show your gratitude, you can do it in cash.」Grey

「Grey...」Yuna

Yuna looked at me with disgusted eyes.

「I'm just kidding. Liz is already like a little sister to us, so something like this is just normal. But enough about that, we should probably process these documents and arrest that Algerio.」Grey
