《Reborn: Last Chance to Ascend》56. Letter

The maid led me into a room at the ground level of the castle through a series of stairs. The room was wholly covered in black marble with brass decorations. The only thing in the room was a small round pool with a diameter of four meters in the middle of the room. A stream of fresh steaming water came from a statue of a dragon head at one side of the pool.
'This castle is like it was made especially for me... Everything is in the style I like.' I thought to myself as I waved at the maid to leave.
She bowed and walked out of the room. Then I slowly removed my dirty clothes and threw them into my [Item Box].
I walked towards the pool with steaming water and put my hand into it to test its temperature. It wasn't cold, but neither it was hot, 'Such a shame, I can't even enjoy a bath with the resistance of my body... Maybe I can alter it if I focus enough.'
With all of my will, I focused on the temperature perceived by my mind. Blissful warmth slowly started to creep into my body through the hand immersed in the pool.
I smiled, 'Of course that it is possible to control such a minuscule function of my body... How we feel a temperature of things outside of our body is only interpreted in our minds, and with the strength of my will, it is nothing to recalibrate it.'
Finally, I walked into the pool and dipped my whole body into hot water. My smile widened even more as warmth enveloped my whole body, 'This was what I was missing the whole time. I was always fighting, working or improving my magic, but I never found time to relax... my former life was the same too.'
Moving my hands, I splashed some water on my face before submerging under the water.
'Let's see how long I can hold my breath.'
Minutes kept passing by as I held my breath. More minutes passed, and I still couldn't even feel a slight pressure to breathe out. Five more minutes passed, and I ran out of patience as I emerged from the water.

The arrogant voice of Bifrons resonated through the empty room, "Well, you finally stopped messing around."
"What do you want?" I wasn't flustered even a little bit about him seeing my naked body, 'Why should I care? He literally can see and feel everything in his dungeon area... On top of that, he is the ancient demon who lived for who knows how long. I doubt he still even cares about such stuff. Plus, why should I be ashamed of this piece of flesh I am calling my body.'
"Phh, someone left a message for you with me. I guess you should read it. It is from your family." He threw a black envelope with a golden ornament to me.
With a surprised expression, I easily caught it and unsealed the envelope. The whole text was written in beautiful cursive. Most of the letters were written in a black atrament, except for the letters at the beginning of sentences that were golden. So I started to read.
We need to talk. There is a danger.
I will visit you personally in seven days
after you read this letter.
Make sure that you are alone and naked.
With love, ???.
My mouth fell agape as I read the last sentence, but I read through it a few more times, looking for any hidden messages, but I found nothing.
My eyes always moved towards the question marks, 'Is the system even censoring stuff that isn't part of it?'.
Then I looked at the Bifrons, "Do you know anything about it? Isn't it some kind of a trap?". I asked with the assumption that he had already read the letter.
"I know as much as you, and I seriously doubt that it is a trap. I already checked it. A sigil on the envelope is real and belongs to someone in your family. "
I turned the letter to the opposite side and spotted the sigil with an unknown symbol. It had the shape of a circle filled with smaller circles, each containing either the shape of weird beings or characters that looked similar to those used in magic. The whole circle was glowing in magical golden light.

"Are you sure that it cannot be faked?" I asked dubiously.
Flabbergaster's expression appeared on Bifrons face, "Do you know what have you just said? The four divines themselves supervise the integrity of sigils used by higher beings. Noone can falsify them... well, except for divines themselves."
"Hmm, so what is even that sigil?"
Bifrons waved his hand, and a black chair appeared behind him, and he sat into it, "Normally, I would be pretty angry about your stupid question, but this stupid question made it more apparent that you need at least some basic education.
"Every time a higher being reaches maturity, they will be awarded by their own sigil. You can consider it to be the equivalent of an ID card. It also can be used to open a channel to the owner of the sigil like a phone number. This was only simplified info. You don't need to know about sigils belonging to organizations and other special sigils for now."
"But can't it still be a trap made by someone from my family?"
Bifrons sneered, "Why would they need to create some traps if they wanted to eliminate you? With their strength, they could just blow up this whole world together with you. We higher beings have more power than you can imagine..."Bifrons face and tone turned nostalgic, "Also, a family is extremely important for us higher beings. You will come to understand it in the future. Do not think about it much. It's just someone from your family trying to help you behind the back of your father.."
Then my expression turned weirded and my eyes glowed in the purple light, "What about that weird requirement of me being naked?"
Bifrons laughed, "Hahaha, do not think much about yourself. That is only because no one is watching you when you are naked... That's why I kept that letter until now."
"So, can you tell me stuff that you are forbidden to talk about when is nobody watching?" my eyes glimmered in the golden light.
"No, rules are monitored automatically. It's just that no one is looking specifically at you now."
'I will think about it later when I will be alone.' I decided to change the topic, "So if I wanted you to rebuild the whole city with your powers, would it be possible?"
"You are such a greedy person... are you trying to work me to death? But yes, it is possible, but you would have to move out all people from the city. Also, you will have to find an architect to design it.
"It will also delay your golem army as I will have to use a large amount of energy to remodel the whole city. Luckily with me currently feeding on the energy generated by all of the citizens, I have a rather massive income."
"Hmm, I will find that architect. You can leave." I agreed to the conditions, and Bifrons vanished without any traces except for the black chair that remained in the room.
I kept soaking in hot water while I started to imagine a city I wanted to build. The image of the city surrounded by three layers of tall black walls that kept getting taller and taller with each layer as they got closer to the centre of the city appeared in my mind. The diameter of the city also grew as all of the houses were replaced by small mansions. The castle in the centre of the city also grew three times taller than it was currently.
'Such a splendid city.' my smile grew bigger, but then I shook my head, 'I need to focus on that letter. Maybe I will get some answers during that meeting... Also, Bifrons definitely knows much more than what he is allowed to say.'
"Bang!" loud explosion shattered my thoughts, 'It looks like another base exploded.'
I decided to ignore it as I closed my eyes to relax.
