Evolution option of [Focused Death Ligtning] showed up before my eyes.
Spell Evolution
Current evolutions for [Focused Death Lightning]:
[Bursting Death Lightning]
Fires a focused beam of lightning in short bursts, increasing its damage and diameter by 25% compared to previous evolution.
[Chanelled Death Lightning]
Fires a focused beam of lightning for as long as mana is being poured into the spell, increasing its DPS and diameter by 5% per second up to 50%.
[Enhanced Focused Death Lightning]
Increases damage scaling and mana effectivity.
My mind immediately became attracted to a [Chanelled Death Ligtning] as I imagined releasing massive beams of destruction.
‘I am not sure if it is the best option, but I at least know that it is a visually most appealing option.’
I confirmed my selection and announced that we could go. I ran fast, eager to test my beams, with a rose on my toes. Soon we met a lonely golem, and I started to grin. My hand shined in purple as a tendril of purple lightning covered my whole arm. A beam of purple lightning erupted from my hand and started to hit a golem. Its width and glow increased as a few seconds needed to kill a golem passed.

‘Maybe it will not be as good at sniping enemies, but its damage potential is amazing. And it still good enough even at long range.’
A few minutes later, I killed another golem and finally reached level 20.

‘Finally, I have got a mana shield. Still fuck this. If I knew that my elemental skills would level up, I would unlock more of them for CE… At least I have got an idea for a perfect spell. I will make it when we return.’
I suppressed my cravings to create a new fantastic spell and resumed my exploring. I still wanted to get [Astrapomancy] to level 10 before leaving.
We explored for two hours only with occasional small fights. My whole body was sticky from sweat, and my mind was bored of fighting against weak opponents. Eventually, I unlocked [Photomancy] to refresh my experience. At level one, I got [Flash] spell, basically spell creating a blinding flash of light. Weak, but in the current situation, it was optimal, as I could cast it on enemies to blind them temporarily and then kill them with lightning. That way, I would level up both of these magic schools.
Another hour passed, and we still met only lonely enemies. The whole floor was stupidly big with plenty of branches and dead ends.
More time passed, and we entered a room. Inside were a few golem knights. For of them with massive shield and maces. The fifth one had a long black cape and magical staff in its arms. I summoned my staff out of my [Dymensional Storage]. A bright flash of light came out of the staff’s tip, it was ineffective against golems, but I did it only to level up my [Photomancy]. At the tip of the golem, the mage’s staff formed a massive sphere of flames. It flew on me. I ignored it as it was absorbed by the colourless barrier surrounding me. Four melee golems threw themself on me, but I blinked behind them and released a beam of lightning from my staff on the nearest one. It crumbled into pieces after two seconds. Rose in meanwhile, attacked the mage with a whirl of attacks. The barrier protecting it collapsed, and the scythe cut of its head part. Golems split. Two of them ran towards me and the last one towards a Rose. I blinked further out of their reach, cast [Flash], aimed my staff on them and started to channel a new beam of lightning. They placed their shield before them, trying to protect themself against lightning. But it was futile as lightning hit a shield before surging through an arm holding a shield into the whole body. Golem collapsed into pieces as I targeted the next golem. It soon followed its predecessor and crumbled with a loud sound of metal hitting the ground.

‘This is too long. At least I know that the more magic schools I master, the stronger my overall magic will become’
I looked towards a Rose. She had a hard time dealing with the last golem as her level advantage compared to previous floors decreased. After fifteen more seconds, she finally landed a final hit.
My goal was fulfilled, but I decided to clear a dungeon when I was so close to it. We resumed our exploration. Corridors were getting more and more decorated as we walked, signifying that we were on the right path this time. Few golems stood in our way, but I quickly eliminated them. Finally, a massive black metal gate with golden decorations stood in front of us. I started to shake in excitement at the prospect of a thrilling fight after hours of fighting against weaklings. I turned towards a Rose and said, “I know that you probably want to help me, but let me do this a solo. Wait here. In case of emergency, you can always come to my help.”
Visible relief of her being spared from tough battle showed up on her face only to be replaced by worry for me a few moments later.
“I will leave this to you. If you find out that you are not strong enough, just retreat. Don’t die. You are important, and not only for us as an organization but towards me personally too.”
I reached with my hand towards the gate, and with a rumbling sound, they slowly opened. Inside a room was a four-meter-tall figure, a dragon figure made out of armours with flames coming out of crevices between singular plates.

Pillars Between Us
It started with the dent left by the Forest Sprite; A small crack in the ice that encased his memories. Curtis knew that something was off, realizing that he wasn’t who he thought he was and— perhaps Ellis wasn’t the one meant for him. --It's a fantasy novel set in a world where people inhabit on pillars-- (think of m*necaft sky block, you'll get what I mean) -- then give it a hint of action, mystery and (twisted) romance-- and it's influenced by Japanese fantasy light novels (cuz I read a lot of em'). But I'm sure it's a weird one cuz the style of writing isn't the Japanese to English translated kind of style but rather the orthodox English novel kind of writing (which includes a bunch of errors and broken English thanks to me!). In any case, if you're up for it, just beware the story starts out pretty slow.. I mean-- back then, I was still inexperienced ok! I'm gettin' better along the way, Hmmph!
