“Of course they can. But their stats will drop by 25%.” Demon answered.

“In that case, built me and a small army of one-hundredth golems.”

“Of course, I will build your army to teach these mortals outside a lesson. But, it will take a while.”

“How long?”

He looked like he was thinking about something for few seconds before he answered, “There is plenty of variables, so my estimate is between one month and six months.”

I saw no problem with it as I had plenty of time, so I made my last request. “I will spend here a few days.”

“Of course, but please do not disturb me. I have research to do.”

“Don’t worry, Bifrons. I will reward you when the time comes. I will always reward those that helped me.”

“What? What do you want a do?” Rose questioned me.

“That is non of your business, and I would appreciate it if you could give me privacy. “

“There is a small room behind a trone. You can do your stuff there. At least you will not be bothering me.” Bifrons pointed with a happy expression in the direction of trone.

Rose kept talking, but I ignored her and went inside a small room. It was surprisingly plain, with only one bed inside.

After reading about horns, I immediately put my hand on top of my head, and to my horror, I could feel pair of horns. “I can’t just walk around with horns. That would be like asking for trouble.”

Panicked, I rushed outside of the room to look for a mirror.

“What happened to you” Roses jaw dropped as she focused on pair of horns on my head. I ignored her question and asked my demon for the mirror.

He laughed at my panicked behaviour and created a mirror out of thin air. When I looked at my reflection, I could see that my skin became even paler than before, and my eyes were now full of twirling golden energy with tiny sparkles of white and black. But the most important thing was pair of longhorns pouting from the sides of my head. They were made of black liquid-like material with lines of golden metal. They also glowed in dim white light, and sparkles of gold were flying out of them.

‘This is even worse than I expected. They are even glowing. There is no chance of hiding them.’

“If you are panicking now, wait for a time when your wings will grow up”, Bifrons chuckled and watched me panic with an amused expression for half a minute before he offered my advice. “You can retract your horns in the same way as your claws”.

I immediately tried it, and luckily it worked as they instantly vanished in a whirl of sparkes. ‘Is he having fun now? It looks like that contract gave him more courage than he had before.’

I finally noticed that Rose stopped bombing me with questions.

“Ahh, I hope you will appreciate that I closed the mouth of that annoying mortal” Bifrons somehow predicated what I had on my mind.

I finally noticed something about his behaviour “You look happy. I thought you would be angry about that contract.”

He walked towards his throne and sat down, “Do you really think that whole contract was so one-sided? Have you noticed that you have to guarantee my safety and that I will be part of your curt?. Maybe it doesn’t sound like much today, but in the future, it will be a jackpot for me.”

I wanted to be hangry, but there was no reason as I also gained what I wanted. Still, I tried to sour his mood. “Why do you think I will not give you some gruesome orders just to torture you?”

He just leaned forward in trone and smiled. “And would you? I will still serve you loyally, and I know your kind. You kind is unpredictable and sometimes cruel, but I never heard of them mistreating their loyal servants.”

MY heart started to beat faster from the excitement of coming close to the truth about me. “What is my kind? What am I.”

His gaze again focused on something behind me before answering, “This is something I can’t answer you. It’s against the rules.”

I was angry about getting so excited and then learning nothing. “Who made this stupid rules?”

He shook his head as he gave his final answer “To tell you about who made the rules is against the rules, I am afraid. And stop this topic before something bad will happen” Then he wawed his hand a voice finally came out of Rose mouth “... you, I will... “ she realized that she could speak again “What happened to you?”

Using my [Fast Thinking], I focused on a problem before me, ‘Can I be open with her? She probably already knows I am not a human. Also that Gregory colleague of her has tainted human or something like that. She also was also of good help for now… Partial truth will be best.’

Rose looked, she thought, but in the end, it looked like she believed that my explanation was truthful.

“Bifrons, I will be staying for three days here. Can you spawn some weak mobs for me to kill?”
