“Gruaaaarrrr!” The lion hugged his face and screamed in pain. He then turned around and glared at me with his bloodshot eyes wild open.
“How dare you!”
Blood dripped from his face onto the ground, bright red, and as he put his hand back down, I could see a long bloody line running from his nose to his left ear.
Come on! Why so easy?
I was expecting so much trouble fighting him, but it felt like he just stood there for me to slash.
“Lion! Do NOT underestimate me!”
I shouted as a warning and dashed a second time.

The Assassin class stats correction lowered my damage, but it gave me huge speed boost. It’s perfect for fights like this, and on top of that, my race skill [Quick feet] provided +50 speed, which was HUGE!

Half a minute had passed, the lion’s body was covered in many cuts.

Despite being many times bigger than me and looked sooo dangerous, the lion had not made a single attack!

The lion swung his hand at a random direction and broke a boulder into tiny pieces.

The lion activated a skill, jumped and stopped midair.

Like a fortress, the lion stood firmly on his ground, waiting for my attacks.

~Damage calculation~
The formula for damage calculation step for melee physical damage is very simple:
PATK (attacker) * AMV * critical damage (If proc) - PDEF (defender) * DMV
PATK: Physical attack. AMV: Attack multiplier value. PDEF: Physical defense. DMV: Defense multiplier value.
AMV - Attack multiplier value.
A hidden number that reflects how efficient the attack is. It can be any number ranging from 0 to 2.
If you attack someone with just a finger flick, the attack is very weak and AMV value is often below 0.1, resulting in no damage at all. A punch of a normal human has AMV value around 0.8.
In contrast, if you attack with weapons, the AMV value will increase depending on how well you strike with that weapon, and how strong the weapon is.
If you attack with high velocity, the AMV value will increase as well.
DMV - Defense multiplier value.
A hidden number that reflects how strong the defense barrier is. It can be any number ranging from 0 to 2.
For example, eyes can be easily damaged. Human eyes have DMV around 0.05. This means just a poke to the eyeballs can hurt really bad and deliver huge damage! An thus, in reality, the eyes are common weak-points of many creatures.
On the other hand, DMV will be very high if the area is protected by thick skin, strong muscles, armors, or scales … etc.

Wow, I'm doing a terrible job advertising this thing. If you're somehow still interested, if you were ever interested how an average modern person, reborn with all their host's memories, could live out their life in this situation, mending personal relationships one step at a time, or wondered what happened in between all the time skips in other novels, maybe give Unloved Twin a try. Waking up as an elemental and being given frighteningly little info from a system that seemed a little off , stuck with 3 other eccentric individuals that he could almost swear are a bit dodgy, and not being quite sure he was human anymore, it was the start of a long day. It only got longer when he found out he was moved to a whole different world. ~ This is a slow burn story, focusing on the world and what happens if an eccentric historian gets transported in a world with systems and power that are not quite meant for him. ~ Some things you can expect: -No harem, god no. -Yes the protagonist is strong, no he isn't completely OP. -Other people who have been changed, he isn't the only special or chosen one who got transported or messed with. -It is sad to actually have to put this here, but the main character does shockingly have common sense.
