Its already been 2 weeks since Doomsday start. Alex group just returned to the StarBase. They have been gone for one week but so many have changed. The city has become much crowded than before. The number could be compared only to small cities, but its wall and space make it seem more crowded.

After 2 weeks, the majority of Bali survivor should already be within these 4 safe areas. The Denpasar post is the frontline facing the hordes from south section, the Gilimanuk city will be the post connecting to Java island, the Bay city and Antiga which is only 3 kilometers apart are the army and navy base. The last one is the main base, the Starbase.

Construction wise, most workers mainly still building the main base. There are now 190 warehouses built. 110 more warehouses are underway. The construction division also building the big hall for the education center. The other workers whose place in another post are focusing on turning the city into a defense base. They are mainly building walls, guard post, and the guard tower.

Today, Alex has a small meeting between the managers. The main agenda is foods. with the current population even with the food Alex confiscated from the hotel. it's estimated all the food Alex prepared before, will be gone and emptied by three months. Jane from the farming department report that the first batch of potatoes will be available in 2 months plus the second batch which is the expansion area will be available in three months, it will add 4-5 weeks to the supplies. Devita from supply department estimates her recent findings from the salvage department should also add another few weeks.

There are total 200.000 plus people staying in Bali right now, The food supplies for the next few months should be fine, but with the survivor increases, the consumption rate will also increase.

"How did it go with the animal research? Alex asked Doctor Rachel..."

"Many domesticated animals died from the disease, Cows, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens... you name it. The one which survives become very aggressive. Some type animals have a higher survival rate, like birds and some fishes. There has been quite an increase in rats and cats sightings. Another weird thing is that we can't find any trace of insects at all... this is very disturbing...The animal behavior completely off the chart." we are currently still collecting more sample to get more accurate findings"

Alex already knows all these findings in his previous life... The next few weeks all human survivors will be facing these mutated animals. Rats and cats will be one of the first. But he was hoping this scientist could find the reason, and some idea to better kill them or domesticated them...

"I think we will find a solution to our food shortage from the seas and also hunting this animal."

Jane will recruit a few hundred men with experience to be a fisherman. At first, she wants to take from the farmers, but Alex thought the farmers still need more foods, so better nor multitask and prepare the new fishermen subdivision.

"Other than fishing, in Bali north section there was a chicken farm that breeds the Cemani chicken, it's the black chicken. This type of breed should survive the disease. but they should aggressive. Major Sandi, please prepare some of the guards to help the scavenges units. and Tony should prepare to build steel cages for the chickens... hopefully, we would still able to get eggs for breakfast in the future"

"This mutated animal meat should be popular later on when the supply start coming in, I am hoping the market will start to open, we need to facilitate trade markets for these people"

"What are we trading?" Devita asked

"Food coupons, luxury limited amenities like shampoo, toothpaste, soap anything at all. You can plan the market, its place, pricing, and people. I think by one week we should have enough items and the market can be open already. You should start collecting such item from now. Tony will help to build the market area. It would be better to build one near the storage warehouse.

"How's your luck with the Vehicles," Alex asked Devita

"We only manage to find a few older model vehicles, but with the help of the mechanic we manage to turn 2 more transporter ship."

"Great! hopefully, you can get 2 or 3 more ships"

There is nothing the education division can prepare right now, the school already started. As for the administration department, As almost all people already fill in data, he started to organize it.

When the meetings overs, Alex call on Dr. Rachel. Alex opens up an item from his storage rings. Its the amulet of the sun. After two weeks, the amulet has created another pill. Alex gives the shiny pill to the Doctor, he wishes the pill to be studied and hopefully be able to turn into a medicine serum later on. Alex has a really big hope in this project. Hopefully, the doctor could show some result soon.

The next stop will be the Fighters training. Alex drives to Antiga to check the fighters and also the Navy in the Bay city.
