《Jormungandr's calamity》Book 1: Chapter 25 : Betrayal

The second race was about to start and I was seriously injured. I didn't have any regenerative powers or anything that could heal me. So I was alone in my bloodbath and the second race could start at any time. Suddenly the famous blue glow appeared again.
Me: "Let's go for the second trial. "
But I was mistaken indeed this one wrapped all my body and healed me.
After I was healed the same voice rang out: "The trial will begin in one hour while you prepare. "
So I had an hour to prepare myself, but while I was preparing my mind, my body started to catch fire. It's not a turn of phrase to say that it was very hot, but no, it was really on fire.
Little by little I could see that I was losing my skin to make a new one appear and finally I got my new skin. But there was something strange about the latter because now there were black lines all over it but the most shocking thing was that I felt something growing out of my head.
Me: "Did that just happen to me has something to do with the blood of Satan?"
But that wasn't the only surprise in store for me. Indeed I heard a second beat in my body so I now had two hearts, but what will this do to me with the tasks that were scattered all over my body.
Me: "If his blood changed my physical appearance and gave me a second heart, it may have changed my heritage and my inner world."
So I closed my eyes to enter my mind and what I saw shocked me. Indeed the river that contained all the knowledge about my species and what Jormungandr knew had now split into two parts. One part was a normal blue, this part was my racial heritage and the second part was now an ocean of lava.
Me: "So now I have the choice between the inheritance of Jormungandr and Satan. "
But I did something that might shock. I set off in the direction of the burning river and as I was about to drink from it. Something came out of the water behind me. It was a snake.

Me: "Jormi, Jormi you can't stop me and how can I trust you when I know you're just using me.
Jormi: I'll use you, but why should I? You're the only member of my family I have to help you.
Me: During my stay in the other world, I found different writing on you.
Jormi: You don't trust me anymore because of simple writing?
Me: These simple writings have shown me the truth about what you are.
Jormi: And I am?
Me: A monster greedy of destruction, if I am not mistaken, you want to take control of my body because yours is out of use, and for that, I must become more powerful. There's also been another flaw in your plan and this one is very simple. When I got my arm torn off you didn't act and you only moved when Satan attacked me.
Jormi: It doesn't make sense I protected you all the same.
Me: Yes, you did indeed protect me but if you would have wanted to protect me you would have acted when Marcel had attacked me but you didn't do anything but I didn't suspect anything at the beginning. It wasn't until you appeared to save me that I began to question myself.
Like why didn't you act before and if you could open a portal to take me back to Urdu why didn't you do it in the first place?
Jormi: It looks like I've been found out, but what can you do? You're not powerful enough to defeat me.
Me: You're right, I'm not powerful enough, but I think he is. And I showed the lava with my tail.
Jormi: Interesting, but what are you going to offer him? You've got nothing to attract him with.
I laughed my head off.
Jormi: What's going on? You realized your plan was doomed to failure.
Me: No, I don't care about your stupidity, you tell me that I have nothing to offer Satan, but what I am going to give him is before me.
These words echoed in his mind.
Jormi: No you don't count. . . but when he saw my smile he tried to stop me. I'll stop you, and he ran towards me.

Me: It's already too late. Satan answers my call. I offer you all the information collected by Jormungandr and my Bloodline but you must eliminate the fragment of Jormungandr in front of me. "
Behind me, a typhoon of lava formed and from it came out Satan.
Satan: "It is with pleasure that I will do business with you. "
Saying this, the lava river began to take over the inheritance given by Jormungandr.
Jormi: I won't let you do it.
Satan caught Jormi: How we find ourselves one more time little snake. Well, it's time for me to go.
Me: Wait!
Satan: What do you want?
Me: I have a question to ask him and one to ask you too. Jormi is it you who possessed me during my fight.
With a look of hatred: No, it's not me. Whatever has taken control of your body is a being from the moon and I don't know why those old monsters have taken an interest in you.
Satan: All right, your question is over and done and it's time for you to go in the box.
Jormi tries to fly at the sight of the box, but he couldn't move. Jormi (panicked): What did you do to me?
Satan: I sealed the little powers you had left and he dipped it into the box. As Jormi was disappearing, the last thing he did before he left for good was cursing me.
Jormi: I curse you and all your descendants.
Satan: What is the question you want to ask me?
Me: I am no longer a Jormungandr now that you have absorbed my bloodline so what am I now?
Satan: A monster from hell or of the burning plains.
Me: From hell?
Satan: Yes, my territory, and thank goodness you reminded me of it. So you're gonna come to hell with me.
Me: What do you mean?
Satan: You now carry the scent of a monster from this place, so if you come out of this tomb, the Creator will kill you.
Me: Why?
Satan: Cause you have the same scent as me, we can say that we are the worst of enemies. So he'll do anything to weaken me. But I did the right thing coming here. I've gained blood and a fragment of the Jormungandr and a monster that's never been born yet so your potential is limitless.
He opened a portal at these feet.
Satan: This portal will take me out of the tomb, and after I come out I will open a portal to the underworld, and there I will lead you.
Me: Will I become stronger by following you?
Satan: You are funny little one because you are obliged to follow me because by staying here you only risk death and yes you will become much more powerful and you are obliged to take me as your master because only I will be able to teach you to use your new powers cause they come from my blood.
But I must also warn you of one thing: by going away with me all your loved ones will become your enemies.
Me: It doesn't matter, they will understand my choice, and only by being more powerful could I protect them.
Satan: It's good to be in that frame of mind. "
So I jumped into the portal and appeared above the tomb.
Kobo: "Look up there, someone's there.
Crull and Cro looked up at the sky and saw two figures.
Cro: Was the first to recognize one of them, Bagir is that you.
Me: Yes, it's me, master.
Cro: Who is the person next to you.
Satan: I am Satan.
Kobo: How dare you ally yourself with evil.
Cro looked at me full of shame.
Me: Master, it's not what you think.
Cro: You no longer have the right to call me master. From this day forward, you and I are no longer connected.
As I was getting sad, we heard thunder rumbling over our heads.
Satan: It seems to me we've been discovered, so let's go. "
He opened the gate and grabbed me by the tail and went inside it. That was how my adventure in hell began.

Saga of the Storm Wizard
Rose Cooper had always been told she has a lot of potential as a wizard cadet. Too much, in fact; her weather magic frequently ran wild when her emotions got the better of her. That was why the mission to uncover a lost magical artifact in the Spratly Islands was perfect for her. They were no man's land, abandoned by both the demonic Grim Horde and the human Anti-Demonic League. All Rose would have to do to do was keep the weather under control. All of that talk of the Spratly Curse was just superstition and nonsense spread by bored sailors. If only. Evil wore many masks, as Rose was about to discover. Warning: This story contains elements that some readers may find disturbing, and minor language. Think of it as a PG-13 rating. This series is a spinoff of the Confessions of the Magpie Wizard series. As such, it contains spoilers for the main series.
