《Jormungandr's calamity》Book 1: Chapter 24 : First Trial

As we had just passed through the entrance of the tomb, everything around me darkened as if I had just appeared in another dimension. At last, the room began to glow blue.
So from the beginning, we are separated but we don't even know what we should do, I don't know but it's certainly not the case for Ann and Serb. As I continued to venture into this place I saw a rocky path ahead of me.
Me: "It's probably the right way, so let's go. "
Finally, I arrived in front of what was an arena.
Me: "Well, this is where the fight is going to be because of what better place than in an arena to compete. "
So I began to crawl towards the center of the stadium when the same voice we had heard before entering the tomb resounded again.
Zed: "The first trial will begin during this one you will face your greatest fear because only by defeating this one will you become more powerful."
As I said this a blue glow that floated around me came closer to me and finally went through my head. I was expecting to feel a monstrous pain for all the times it happened but I didn't feel anything it was rather the opposite indeed I felt even better than before as if I was more relaxed.
The blue glow came out of my head with what seemed to be the enemy that scared me the most. I myself was intrigued by what I was most afraid of, the enemy I was most afraid of. And while my worst enemy was appearing with the help of the surrounding aura. Suddenly the room became colder and I could see a huge shadow forming on the floor and it was getting bigger and more threatening.
Me: "No it's not possible, that's what happened when Satan appeared but he shouldn't be able to appear in this world otherwise he would have already pursued me. "

But no, what I thought really came true.
A man dressed all in black was now standing in front of me. He was looking around as if he was intrigued by what had just happened, and his eyes finally fell on me.
Satan: "As we find ourselves young serpent, it seems to me that we are bound by the thread of destiny for me to appear here.
Zed: Wrong, a real living being appeared, not a spirit. So we will begin its extermination. "
Saying this, the arena turned into a dragon's jaws and I was ejected from it. I didn't know what kind of witchcraft it was, but I was floating in the air as if I had unlocked powers of thought.
The Jaws suddenly closed on Satan. So the noise and the pressure that had invaded the room disappeared. All that was left was me flying and a dragon's jaw.
Me: "So it's all over, but how did he manage to appear by a simple memory this being is really a mystery.
As I was relieved that Satan was gone, I heard a noise coming from the mouth.
Satan: "Don't worry, I am coming, and saying this an octopus tentacle opened the mouth and destroyed the weak consciousness of Zed that had materialized in this room.
Me: It's not possible.
Satan: But if it is possible with the Kiwi card.
Author: Sorry I had to make that joke and for those who don't understand it, it was old French publicity. Now back to Satan's true line.
Satan: Did you really think that a being so weak could have killed me? I want to tell you that even being in this formation and not having access to all my powers I could have killed him when he had all of his power so a fragment of his soul. It's all fun and games for me. So what am I going to do with you?"
So I was at a dead-end because I didn't know what to do about this demon.

Satan began to come closer to me and I could not move because I was still in the air and I had no mobility in this environment. Finally, he grabbed me by the tail and threw me towards the platform on the ground.
At the moment of impact with the help of my mind, I made my whole body hard.
Satan: "Hardening is interesting as a technique, but can you resist this?"
When he said that last time he pulled out what seemed to be a box and I recognized it. Indeed he had locked the soul of the young woodcutter in it.
Satan: "What you see there is what I call my jewel. Thanks to this box I can give powers to all the beings I wish, but they must give me something in exchange. Otherwise, it wouldn't be any fun and I'd lose out. Don't you think? What do you think they should give me? You have 10 seconds to respond. Tick Tock Tick Tock.
Without thinking, I gave the first answer that came to my mind: Soul, they must give you their soul.
Satan: Bingo but they have to do something more important and that is to make my name known to all living beings on their planet. You're probably wondering why. It is very simple my power is proportional to the number of souls I have reaped so if more people come to know of my existence, I will have more pact that says more pact says idiots who think they are smarter than me and once the pact is broken. I can reap the soul of my victim.
That's why I thought you were so kind for what you did to the young lumberjack. "
Everything that is happening to me is because I was too greedy and I went to an area I shouldn't have set foot in.
Satan: "Well, let's stop talking and play a little game. I'm going to give you a shot, and if you can resist it, I'll let you go to the second trial.
I began to think and came to the conclusion that I had no choice.
Me: I accept the challenge.
Satan: Let me get ready. He took a deep breath and began to sing what seemed to be a psalm.
Satan: Monstrosity from another world, calamity from the depths. I invoke you by the sacrifice of this soul. Saying this, he took out the soul of the woodcutter and threw it into the void.
Suddenly a portal appeared and a tentacle came out of it.
Cthulhu: I heard your call. What do you want from me?
Satan: I want you to strike this serpent with your tentacle.
Cthulhu: Is that your wish, are you sure?
Satan: Yes!
Cthulhu: So be it. A tentacle came crashing down on me like a missile I just had time to harden up before I was attacked head-on.
I was on the floor in my blood, but hardening had kept me from dying.
Satan began to walk in my direction: "It seems to me that you are still alive, so I am going to leave you, but before that, I am going to give you a gift.
As he said this he cut off his palm and spilled some of his blood on my wound.
Me: What are you doing?
Satan: I am making you inherit some of my blood. With this one, the creator will want to kill you and maybe you'll become a monster just like me.
Me: A monster?
Satan: Yes, a monster, something cursed and unwanted, and it disappeared."
I was now alone in the middle of this arena.
Me: "If just the first test is so difficult how will the other two be. "

Lone: The Wanderer [Rewrite]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? The Nomad: A Starforged ttrpg Playthrough
Life in The Forge is rarely fun, least of all when you've got an AI that wants to turn you over to the authorities, a stolen ship full of creepy cult shit, and you've pissed off the only guy in the Devil's Helix who doesn't want you dead through sheer incompetence. Unfortunately for Ash, worst courier in the helix, that's his day-to-day. When he gets offered an opportunity to get back into this boss's good graces (and finally get something decent to eat), Ash jumps at the chance, even if that means getting tangled back up with figures he'd rather leave in the past. This is a solo play log of Shawn Tomkin's ttrpg Starforged, as such, even I don't know what's going to happen next! Enjoy the ride!
