《Jormungandr's calamity》Book 1: Chapter 3 : Bogir

I moved my head in all directions and suddenly said "A fragment of his soul? Let's see what it is. But how do I use it? Let's use the simplest way: I summon you Jormugandr."
After a little wait nothing happen
I blew into a rage "Shit, I have to wait until I'm born before I speak with it Well, that's okay but I think I can ask him how much longer I had to stay in this egg. Dear fragment how much longer before the hatching."
Something speaks in my mind "According to the heat emitted by the individual, you will see the day within 3 weeks."
I was surprised "I have to wait another three weeks before I can be born. But wait, how long have I been in this egg?"
The same voice appears in my mind "beep you have been in this egg for 14 months."
I scream "14 months!! It looks like that time flies fast in this place. I can't wait to see my parents".
But while Bagir was quiet in his egg talking to Jormugandr, his parents were facing a much more dangerous situation. Indeed, in front of them was a group of Borigs.
But that was not the problem, because a hundred Borigs could not do anything to Snar and Pril. After all, if a fight broke out, Snar and Pril would win, but with severe injuries that would take several months to heal.
But in this little tribe, a borig was out of the ordinary. He was much taller than an ordinary Borig.
He was 2. 5 the size of an ordinary Borig. An ordinary Borig was 0. 75m tall and he measured 1. 87m, so he was dangerously close to the limit imposed by his species.
Snar began to whisper to Pril "I think that we have to attack them because even if we come out with serious injuries. We will win and look with all these Borigs and this particular Borig we can become much more powerful. Then you're up to it?"
Snar expected Pril to agree, but she refused.
Author, You probably think that they don't have any chance to win because one of the Borig is near the limit of his species but before someone takes human form, it's the size who gave you power because if you are big, your body will be harder. So the special Borig is a lot stronger than a normal Borig but weaker than Snar and Pril because if the Borig were this powerful, there will be the only race on Urdu.

Pril refused and said "If we would have had to deal with the same situation when we were younger. I probably will have accepted and accompanied you on this mission, but this is impossible now."
Snar was perplexed "Why don't you want to do it?"
After hearing what Snar just said Pril explodes "We have a child! You understand a child, we can't just think of our benefit. If we win this battle, we will come out of it with serious injuries that will take a long time to heal even with all that blood."
Snar began to understand what Pril try to tell him but with his little brain, he could not understand what their injury have to do with their child.
"Yes, but what does our injury have to do with our child? Because I can't find any reason to not fight these little monsters."
Pril (whisper) "What did I do in my life to have a companion with no brain and only muscles?"
Snar moved around her "Did you say something?"
Pril sigh "Nothing I just want to tell you that if we get hurt, we won't be able to defend our child."
"That's right, the kid, I forgot about it" He then started laughing.
"Damn it, you're his father!"
Without meaning to, Pril spoke a little too loudly and caught the Bogirs's attention.
Snar had just noticed what was going on and he saw the Bogirs getting closer to them
He looks at Pril and said, "Pril, please calm down, this not the time to shout."
Pril was too angry to hear what Snar was trying to say "No, I'm fed up, you've been doing this all the time, you only think about yourself and never about the other. Right there is what you just did. You want us to go up against those Bogirs without thinking about the consequences of doing so. All you think about is the present, and I'm sick of it. It's okay, I'm going home."
But as soon as she had started her way home, a group of Bogirs came out of the foliage and pounced on her.
A surprised scream get out of her mouth "What's going on?"
No sooner had she noticed what was happening, her whole body was engulfed in the Bogir wave.

Snar runs in the direction of Pril but when he started crawling towards her he heard a growl that is the fusion of a wolf and rat noise.
Behind the foliage, he could see the leader of the Bogirs.
He was 1. 87m and had grey skin with black spots on his back. He looked down on the other Bogirs with a superior gaze and commanded them.
Chief Bogir "Attack big snake and then a lot of blood. With a lot of blood get more powerful, kill the snake, and drink powerful blood."
Then he started laughing, but while he was busy giving orders to the other Bogirs he could not see Snar coming dangerously close to him.
Pril Pov:
Today we were only gone to look for a new shelter and now I am attacked by these little vermin. But I don't intend to let myself be killed by them what my ancestors would say if they knew that their descendants would have fallen to the Bogirs. They would feel shame that their blood was killed by this species and so would I because it is not death that I want and I do not want to die now I still have a lot of things to accomplish.
With extraordinary willpower, I began to hit my body with my tail. It hurt terribly but it was for a good cause and little by little the number of Bogir on my back went down. Soon I no longer had any Bogir on my back but I also had no scales covering my back and no more energy. But I was still willing to fight, but after looking around I only find corpse and blood there isn't anymore Bogir. I was looking for Snar with my eyes but he had disappeared,
I began to search for Snar but I can't find him "This madman is surely going after them he always liked to fight and face enemies more powerful than him. That's the only way he feels alive. So I'm gonna let him, I'm gonna soak up all this blood to heal my wounds."
But contrary to what Pril thought, Snar hadn't gone after them but he wanted to attack the chief of the tribe and for the first time since his birth he used his head to eliminate little by little all the Bogirs that surrounded the chief. There is no more Bogir on Pril because their leader called them back so that they could defend him but nothing is going the way he wanted.
Chief Bogir growl "Why didn't we find the snake. He then turned to another Bogir, found snake?"
Random Bogir began to shake like if he knows that something is hunting them "Not found, forest too big snake hidden and kills when alone."
Chief Bogir nods his head "Stay together with the others."
Snar pov.
I've been chasing the Bogirs who was alone for 30 minutes, but what a headache it is to think. I'd love to run into the pile but I don't want to die and I know that Pril will be able to summon my ghost just to curse at me.
Let's get back to the hunt, there are only five Bogirs left if I take the leader out. I walked by a tree and armed myself with a branch. But why do you ask? I'll show you. With the branch in my tail, I opened my mouth and dropped a few drops of my venom on it. The branch began to blacken, but it did not break. Now I need prey.
Finally, I saw one of the Bogirs moving away from the group I crawled silently towards him and when he was not paying attention to his surroundings I pierced his throat with the branch and because of the venom, he could not make a sound. I repeated this action four times or I just strangled the other Bogirs and finally, the leader was alone.
The Chief Bogir turned around and saw that he was now alone with a predator that he could not see, and for the first time since he had begun his attack on the two snakes, he became afraid.
Suddenly a huge snake appeared in front of him and jumped on him.

Where did I wake up?
A pretty standard story about a man that gets transferred to a new world, and gains a system to help him survive. This is pretty close to the first draft of this story, so there will be grammar mistakes until I get down to fixing them. Synopsis, genre and tags will also change as I get more writing done. I will try to release two to three short chapters a week. I don't own the cover image; it is just something I found online.

Legends of The Wesh: Lochley
The Universe is held together by something. It is an undisputable truth but nobody knows what that something is. People claim that it is connected by The Path of Legends, where Gods traversed trying to find the meaning of their own existence. In one of the Worlds in it, the arrival of someone signaled great changes. Gods will die, Trees will Rot, Insects will burn. Those at the top had fallen and they will upend the worlds trying to claim what was theirs. Those at the bottom have had enough of scraps and they yearned to devour the fruits of the worlds. Those that were innocent and caught in between had no choice but to persist, lest they get erased by the surging tides. Nobody knows where will they end, but everybody knew where they started.
