《Fallen God decides to live a little》Universal Foundations (Prologue)

It started with a spark.
The universe was created by the hands of the first being.
It was called the Creator, it had no name but had one purpose and it was to create.
With intense purpose, it created the first creatures.
These creatures were more monster-like than creature-like and they contained extreme power and brutality.
These engines of destruction were called the felbeasts for they had no true purpose but to exist and never die.
Utterly undying and devoid of physical weakness, the felbeasts adapted in the void.
Disappointed, the creator continued creating.
Without having the ability to compare his ideas with other intelligent creatures, he simply allowed his unfathomable thoughts to manifest, which resulted in the voidlings.
These creatures had incomprehensible forms and their first act was to try and destroy the felbeasts but these two creatures were too powerful so none of them could be truly erased.
Seeing their seizing bodies and writhing forms, the creator was starting to lose hope but he persisted.
He continued.
The felbeast was the peak of physical capability and the voidling was the peak of mental capability, so this time, the creator would create something within both of them, which is the soul.
Mixing essence from the felbeast and voidling, the creator formed the life hounds.
The life hounds were giant monstrous four legged beings that hungered for souls. It had a physical body capable of standing against the felbeasts and minds capable of clashing with the voidlings but an excruciatingly empty vessel. Unlike the past creatures which acted on instinct, the life hounds were simply mad. They hungered for souls and would do anything to devour them from other creatures. Just like the felbeasts and voidlings, the life hounds also entered in an eternal cycle of fighting.
Utterly distraught, the creator tried to create more but he could not create beautiful and intelligent creatures.
No matter what it did, it kept creating horrible creatures that all resembled the first three.
The first three were the strongest in terms of power and ferocity.
An untold amount of time has passed and the Creator looked at all of its creations.
They were horrendous and pitiful.
It created beasts that had no beauty, no purpose and it felt utterly empty so it stopped creating.
The creator pined for something.
It wanted to create something with meaning, something with life, something that was worth existing for and something with purpose.
It knew that it itself was not enough, so with effort, it started to cut itself into multiple parts so that its parts could create something beautiful that they could share.
With its first action it cut away its mind, giving birth to Branac, whom is presently called the primordial God of Knowledge and Wisdom.
Branac is the head of the gods.
The creator then gouged out its eyes to give life to Elyis, the Primordial Goddess of sight and truth.

Elyis is the omniscient the judge of the gods.
The creator tore his mouth away and it turned to Mountus, the Primordial God of music and lies
Mountos is the shadow of the gods and he took care of the horrible acts that the gods must not do.
With great effort, the Creator then ripped his right and left arm who then respectively turned to Remries and Demries, the Goddess of war and weapons and the Goddess of peace and defense, respectively.
Remries is the greatest weapon of the gods.
Demries is the greatest defense of the gods.
The Creator's heart which did not have a use was split into two opposing but still important parts.
The two parts became Azael, the Demonic God, and Ragos the God of mortals.
Azael gained the aspect of static eternity and order while Ragos gained the everchanging mortality and chaos of the Creator.
These two would then fulfill the Creator's wishes by creating the meaningful and beautiful creatures it long so desired.
Lastly the soul and power of the Creator gave birth to Magnus the Primordial God of magic and power. Magnus was the most similar to the Creator in the way that he wants to create a meaninful existence for him and others.
He would determine the limitations and powers of the universe.
Without the main parts, the Creator finally died and whatever was left of it came to fill the universe.
The torso which didn't have the power to become a primordial god transformed to the home of the gods, called the well of creation.
The Primordial gods used the Creator' bones which held great power to create the most powerful seals which held the first beings created by the Creator within the void.
The many internal organs transformed into the many planes and worlds of existence. Each plane held different rules. These came to be called parallel worlds but they were mostly ignored by the Primordial deities.
The most notable one is the mortal plane which consisted of a massive planet surrounded by one sun and 6 moons.
The Primordial gods used the Creator's skin and transformed it into a veil which separated the well of creation and the mortal plane.
With nothing left from the Creator, the Primordial gods went to work.
With the advice and command of Branac, Magnus fashioned the many laws of the mortal plane, which the other worlds also followed, albeit with some small differences.
The Primordial gods accelerated time and created a beautiful lush world filled with life but had no inhabitants.
Azael went first and created a single but powerful race, the demons.
The demons were similar to Azael. They developed a strict heirarchy birthed from blood and position. They followed strict rules and destroyed those that did not follow or emulate their example. Since Azael only created one race, the demons were absurdly powerful and had innate talent that surpassed most races. It was only stunted by their strictness and crippling order but it was supported by their group effort and their natural immortality.

Ragos who had great passion, went second and created hundreds of races, each one being unique in their own ways.
Ragos created the elves first.
Ragos wanted to make something similar to the demons but he could not, since he was planning on creating multiple races.
The elves had Ragos' passion for life and they were to be the caretakers of the natural world. To help them with this, they were given a very long life span and was blessed with great talent in magic.
He then created the dwarves.
The dwarves were long-lived and stubborn but they inherited Ragos' love for creation and they took it in their own hands to mold the world in their own way, which ironically made them a natural enemy of the elves, who wished to preserve the world.
His last major creation was humanity.
Humans inherited all the chaos and passion Ragos had but because of this they were short-lived. They were ambitious and dreamt to create and surpass all the other races. Because of their chaos, humanity did not stick to one stereotype and followed many kinds. This variety allowed them to conquer much of the known world.
Ragos created more creatures but these three are the most important and influential.
Once the world was filled with creatures, the will to create started to burn inside the other Primordial gods.
Remries and Demries who had great affinity with combat created the many magical metals that fill the world.
Separately they created powerful armaments that every nation would wage war for.
Remries forged powerful and deadly weapons capable of upturning mountains while Demries forged extremely durable and unbreakable artifacts that could catch meteors and leave their user completely unharmed.
Because of this feat, they gained the title of the Goddesses of the forge. Dwarves lovingly call them the sisters of the forge.
Elyis created the laws of morality and immorality which had dictated whether the actions of one was either good or evil.
With Magnus' help, Elyis also created concept magic. Magic that connected one to a concept they firmly believe in.
Mountus on the other hand molded a hellish plane of existence that is the counterpart of the well of creation. While Mountus dealt with the distasteful part of godhood, he did it all for the sake of greater good. This hellish plane was punishment and a prison to those who commited great evil in the mortal plane.
Magnus had a flare for amazing and big things so with his power, he created a race imbued with so much power that they could be called the first mortal gods, the dragons.
Majestic, powerful and flowing with enormous power, the dragons almost wiped out the world and the Primordial gods had to intervene.
Limitations were put on the power of dragons. Their power relied entirely on their age but the growth was slowed down. Their original power was absurd and they continued to grow at an insane rate so the Primordial gods had to limit their power. They also put other limitations and made it easier for the bloodlines of dragons to be diluted by other races so weaker variants would appear. Eventually, they were satisfied.
The Primordial gods created more and more until they felt satisfied. When they were finally done they left the world to its own devices and watched it from the shadows.
Despite the primordial gods being done with the world, Magnus was not yet done and he still wanted to create more.
Realizing his mistake from the dragons, Magnus noticed that the other races were significantly weaker than their stronger counterparts. Demons could kill humans by the dozen with a flick of a finger and dragons could destroy nations with a single breath attack.
To ensure that everyone has a chance of climbing up in the world, Magnus with the help of Remries and Demries created powerful skills that would give them an edge in combat.
With Branch and Ellis' genius, Magnus created magic, alchemy, ritual magic, witchery and concept magic.
But this wasn't enough, Magnus with the help of the other Primordial gods, created powerful beings that governed lesser concepts and almighty dragons that would protect mortals and even create contracts that give strength and power.
When everything was done and well, Magnus felt satisfied and happy for his creations, so like his siblings, he went away to watch the world unfold.
But this happiness didn't last.
Magnus felt jealous.
He didn't feel jealous of his siblings but instead, he felt jealous of his creations.
What else was there to do?
Why did he feel this yet his siblings were not affected.
Did the Creator set this upon him?
Or did he inherit it?
He wanted to feel what It meant to strive for something.
He didn't want everything on a whim or in a snap of his fingers but being a god didn't leave one a lot of options.
Paired with true immortality and a lot of capabilities such as unassailable power, Magnus was truly a part of the strongest beings in the universe.
And this is why he finds the mortals, particularly the weaker ones, endearing. Magnus finds that fighting for something was much more meaningful and beautiful than being born with it.
Despite all his power and anger, Magnus couldn’t do anything about it and for millenniums he continued to be jealous and then angry, then he became absolutely despondent to the point where he lost caring for anything.
What Magnus didn’t know is that in the next millennium, his wish will be granted but with a very horrible price.

My Isekai
For those not familiar with the isekai genera, this story is about a man waking up in an unknown world. The story follows his journey and life in this world, which does not only look different on the surface, but the common norms and values of this world are very alien to the modern western mindset. How will this average western person respond to such a world, and how will it change him. For those familiar with isekai, this is a western take on a predominantly Japanese story format. It draws a lot of inspiration from Japanese isekai, but it also tries to tackle a lot of tropes that might be annoying to the western mindset. The story is not written for young boys as the story tries to take a mature take on some typical clichés and assumptions made by both the typical writer and reader of the genera.
