《Slayer of Kings》Chapter 30 - Leo vs Emilia

Emilia activated her water armor. Water rose from the middle of her chest and made its way around her body. When it finished the water covered her entire body. Emilia's water looked different than Leo which made no sense because from what Leo knew the water had the same color as the source from which it was absorbed. So Emilia's armor should have the same color as water from the river, however, it had a darker blue color to it.
Could it be water pressure? Was the first thing that came to Leo's mind. If it was indeed water pressure, he could ask Emilia on how to acquire water pressure to use on his clone.
Emilia charged with her sword towards Leo.
Leo took out the broken Elemental Dagger that had been with him since he came to this world.
Just before Emilia reached him Leo summoned the clone in front of him. This caused Emilia to slow down, however, she increased her speed soon after. Emilia sword was just a few meters away from the clone when Leo made the clone explode.
Emilia expected this to happen as she had seen him training explosion with the clone. That was why when it happened, she moved to the side, however, as she moved to the left side the water that exploded in all direction moved towards her.
This caught Emilia by surprise, but there was still some distance between Leo and the coming water, so she decided to pull back, however, just as she thought this Leo activated his frenzy and rushed through the water explosion and towards Emilia.
Emilia was caught by surprise, she had no idea what to do she could not move backward since Leo would catch up to her and also the distance between them was too less which meant she did not have enough time to cast a spell as Leo was moving towards her rapidly. The only option now was to use her sword.

Emilia slashed her sword towards Leo aiming exactly towards his center, but the sword found no one as Leo moved away by spinning to the right.
Emilia noticing this changed the direction of the sword towards Leo.
Her sword found no one again as Leo moved towards her back before she could turn a dagger touched her neck, however, nothing happened to her skin.
Emilia sighed in defeat 'I thought I won."
"You really have no battle sense as when I charged through the water your mind was in chaos," Commented Leo.
"If you do not experience real battles then it can prove fatal one day because if I was an enemy you would be dead by now," He added.
"My father is the one who taught me everything I know, I guess he always went easy on me," Emilia said looking at her sword.
"Do you want to go another round, Leo?" She suddenly asked.
"Very well, but this time learn from your mistakes and always have control over your mind, no matter what the situation," Leo said as he moved towards his battle location.
Leo had previously activated frenzy for ten seconds, so the fatigue was way less compared to it being active for the full fifty-second, but to Leo, it was as if needles were pierced in his body.
Leo knew he would need to rest after this round as the fatigue placed on his body would be too much for him to bear with his current power, but if he were to increase his power then the fatigue would naturally decrease.
"Ready Leo?" Emilia asked, to which Leo responded by tightening his grip on the dagger.
Emilia closed her eyes as the mistakes she made and the things Leo said all came to her mind. Then her eyes opened.

Emilia used her Pure Element Attack. Water rushed out from her left palm with great speed towards Leo.
Leo managed to easily dodge the attack as she did not manipulate the attack to change its direction. The attack fell back into the river as it failed to find any target.
When Leo looked at Emilia he saw two orbs made of water which had rings around them revolving around Emilia.
"I see since she can't use that attack fully she reduced the number of orbs which will make it easier to control and reduce the change of it failing," Remarked Leo.
Leo knew he had to strike now because he was not sure how powerful the orbs were and also his speed was not up to his standards.
Leo activated his frenzy and rushed towards Emilia who had her eyes closed and sword on her back.
As soon as Leo neared Emilia her eyes opened and the two orbs left her control.
The distance between her and Leo was less, so she was confident that Leo would not be able to dodge the orbs.
But the moment the orbs got near Leo pushed his hand into the river since the water was shallow his hands easily managed to reach the bottom in time. Then Leo used the force and lifted his body using his legs and hand. He then turned so that now he was facing the orb sideways.
The two orbs were not close they were 35 meters apart from each other and because Leo was slim he could easily make it so that the orbs passed him.
That was what exactly happened Emilia was unable to control the orbs after it left her hence she could only watch as the orbs went past Leo.
Leo then used his legs to increase his speed as they touched the river's bottom and propelled himself to Emilia who had no idea how to respond.
Leo's dagger once again found itself near Emilia's neck.
"Always have a backup plan because if I were an enemy you would be dead," He said.
"You really have a lot of experience fighting Leo," Emilia said as she sighed once again "I guess there is still a long way to go for me."
After the two rounds of fighting both of them rested for fifteen minutes before continuing. The training session lasted until the afternoon. It was as if they were both put inside a furnace burning in full force as and were sweating excessively due to the sun.
"Let's head back Leo I'm hungry," Emilia pleaded.
So both went back to the village to have food.
This was a good session for both especially for Emilia as she learned a lot of new things from herself and from Leo. As for Leo even though Emilia' fighting ability was weak she was still better than the clone, so it helped to increase the control over his body, especially in the frenzy state.
While on their way back to the village Leo suddenly remembered something "Emilia how do I increase the pressure in my water?"
