《Slayer of Kings》Chapter 7 - Off To Moon Cave City

His hair moved left to right, he looked at the night sky which to him was the only thing that looked similar to his old world.
Leo sighed as he thought about the past.
He had no idea how he ended up in this situation he was in an unknown world he had no idea what he would do from now on as he thought about this something strange happened in his body.
Leo started to feel as if his heart was being ripped out he did not understand what was happening, but it was unbearable, he gripped the clothes near his chest as tightly as he could Leo was never someone who feared pain in his previous life, and he had his high cultivation level to protect him, but now he was nothing more than a mere mortal and the pain he was feeling at this instance was passed the threshold of what a mortal could handle.
Leo thought the pain would go away after some time, but 3 minutes later the pain persisted it was at this moment that something happened which caused Leo even more pain the feeling of pain in his heart started to move.
Yes, it moved from his heart to his shoulder, then onto his right hand the pain paralyzed his right hand, he could not move it even if he wanted to it was as if his right hand was stuck in time forever.
But that did not stop the feeling of pain it moved through his hands until it reached his wrist, it seemed as if the pain had settled down, but Leo was in a terrible condition the pain was now causing blood to flow down from his mouth, his eyes and even his ears it seemed that even though he did not feel the pain in his entire body, his full body was affected by the pain.

The pain came to a stop near his wrist and the area around his wrist started to burn and something that looked similar to a tattoo emerged on his right wrist.
When Leo saw the tattoo even though he was in unimaginable pain it still shocked him and that was because the tattoo that formed on his right wrist was the tattoo of a black dragon with its wings wide open which looked identical to the one he got in his previous life when he first fused with his sword.
He had no idea how the sword from his old world reached this world suddenly Leo thought of something, was it because of the sword he came to this world or was it because of something else?
Leo did not believe his sword was the reason he came to this world because from the moment he started using this sword and up to his death, he had never used or even sensed this power of his sword he believed that he knew everything that there is to his sword, but the sword came into this world with him this meant that there were still things which remained a mystery to him about the sword.
He suspected that it was because his soul was connected to the sword, but dismissed that thought immediately because if that were the case, then the other things connected to his soul should also be here with him, but there were no signs of them only the sword which further strengthens the point that there were things he still did not understand about his sword.
He tried to activate the sword, but it was of no use as he got no response from the sword or the tattoo.
After that tattoo formed in his hand the pain faded away Leo was now surrounded by a puddle of his own blood and his clothes were also ruined.

He decided to remove his clothes and wash them as he did not have any spare with him, and he could not go out with blood in his clothes or without any clothes on.
After he washed the clothes and kept them for drying, he decided that it was time for him to sleep, then after waking up in the morning, he would catch a ride from the village to Moon Cave City.
---
Leo woke up to the light from the sun in the early morning he got up from his bed and wore his dried clothes he stretched for some time to get rid of the drowsiness from his sleep.
He left the inn and went to the shop for breakfast he had the same meal he ate for dinner the previous night which was the chicken soup and roasted boar.
After having his meal at the shop he asked the old lady working there where in the village, he could catch a ride to the city and according to the old lady Leo had to go near the village gate.
And sure enough, when he neared the gate, he saw about 15 wooden carts parked there some of them had people in them, but most of them had various goods. Leo could not determine what type of goods they were as all of them were covered by gray sheets. He guessed that these were the goods that were sent by the village to be sold in Moon Cave City.
He decided that he would approach one of the cart drivers and ask him for a ride and since he had money with him Leo was sure he would get a ride but he had doubts on whether he would get a ride because he thought all the seats have already been taken.
But before he moved, he felt a hand touch his shoulder when he turned around to look at who it was, Leo could see a man in his late 30s his face seemed worn out, and he was skinny for his age.
The man looked at Leo with a bright smile and said "Sir from what I can guess you want a ride to the city right?" Leo did not understand why he would be approached by a random stranger and asked about this matter but nonetheless, he went with it and nodded his head.
The man's smile grew even wider upon hearing this "Ah, my good sir, I have the best ride and can protect you my cart has no one else so you will have a peaceful ride to the city."
After hearing this Leo could guess why the man had stopped him and asked if he wanted to go on the carts it was because he was one of the cart drivers. Leo knew he was lying about the fact he would be able to protect Leo, but since all the other carts were full, he had no other option the only thing that worried Leo was the fact that this man would be an endless talker.
"Before we go how much will this ride cost?" Asked Leo to the man to which he replied "It costs 50 silver."
The price was lesser than what Leo had expected this was a really good offer the only problem was that Leo felt this person in front of him was very talkative and would be annoying, but he decided that he would go on this cart since all the other carts looked full.
He gave the man 50 silver the man took it and said: "Sir, follow me, I will take you to my cart," Leo followed the man to his cart.

Celestial [A Progression Fantasy LitRPG]
Warning!Profanity, unconventional relationships, drug use, descriptive gore and intimacy. Celestial is a slow-paced and action-packed progression fantasy with elements from the LitRPG genre. The story focuses on the protagonist’s personal growth, violence, sex, exploration and adventure. Follow Zelaria as she embarks on her journey of exploration and adventure, seeking ever greater heights of power. With an affinity for the elusive and mysterious Arcane and a preference for the thrill of close combat she nonetheless chooses to walk the path of a mage. A mage may still use weapons but a warrior rarely casts spells as far as she knows. It’s a logical path for her even if others may call it insanity. What do they know? Most people who choose to specialize in wielding mana tend to pick a mage class aligned with their element. Why become a standard mage, average at everything, when you can use your affinity for fire to become a fire mage and cause destruction with ease? The only problem for Zelaria is that no one seems to know how to get a mage class aligned with the arcane. Approaching 17 years of age she’s still at level 0 while her peers have long left her behind, their classes selected at the age of 15 when they became available. Luck is on her side though as she manages to snag employment as a hauler with a party heading on an expedition to a dungeon abandoned centuries ago. They’re looking for riches and danger while she’s still looking for an answer, one she finds at their destination even if not in the way she expected. Nothing is going to stop her from enjoying all that the world has to offer, not the wish of her parents or even her death. I'll be aiming to upload 5 chapters in bulk every week.
