《Apex Legend in Another World [Litrpg/Dungeons]》Chapter 7: Berserk Dungeon?

There was only a ten meters gap between Leon and myself but I couldn't help but slow down my movement. There were still four more orcs left, plus the mage and the raven.
[Why isn't the raven counted as an enemy?]
That's because it's counted as a mount, the orc mage and the raven are pretty much one.
[That's very stupid] I inwardly complained.
I tried to look around the tall grasses to spot any orcs but I couldn't see them, and also it's very windy so even if the orcs made any movement it wouldn't be easily noticeable because the whole area is swaying left and right.
[Damn, if I had any of Bloodhound tracking abilities, finding the enemies would be much easier]
This thought only made me look forward to gaining a free random ability, but all I can do is pray that the enemies don't run away.
[Wait... Don't tell me that they ran away?]
'Die!'
"Fuck!"
- 45 Health
Health: 52/100
I couldn't believe I got hit as I rolled and tumbled forward. I quickly stood up on guard. A tiny orc smirked victoriously with a mocking gaze. I stared in disgust and horror at this moss green-like humanoid.
It punched me point blank in the centre of my back, dealing damage with numbers counting around half my total health. I couldn't help but spit out a mouthful of scarlet red blood.
[Shit, I underestimated them too much!]
I suddenly crouched down just a tiny bit and tried to listen for any other movements. I know that there is an orc right in front of me, but I couldn't count out a sneak attack.
"I'm coming to help!" Leon said with grave concern. The women who saved him and gave him a powerful weapon was in trouble.

I didn't respond to him, I couldn't be distracted; my eyes were glued onto the tiny orc in front while my ears were listening for those that may still be around for a surprise attack.
Suddenly, my ears perked up.
[Above!]
"Boom!'
'Cawwwwww!!!'
'Argggh!!!'
A blooming fire exploded in the air which immensely increased the temperature of the surrounding area. I felt the heat boiling my skin and I opted to run away during the commotion.
"Roar!"
The four orcs bellowed loudly in shock and disbelief.
Their leader died just like that. Its body was wholly doused in flames, its skin turned black, and after a while, its very existence broke up into scattering ashes leaving behind no evidence that it has lived in the first place. It left behind a small sparkling sphere, but that too was destroyed by the flames.
[There goes my thermite grenade]

I heard a lot of beeping noise in my mind but I ignored it all, I couldn't help but hug Leon tightly and fall asleep while he carried me in his arms.
The pain was too much, and there were so many questions that I had swimming in my mind but for now, I have to rest.

Primacy Online
Life on Earth was nearly eradicated in World War III, but using alien technology, the Patriarch of the Church of the Resurrection built a new society from the ashes. He created what he called the Constructed Reality MMORPG, Primacy Online, a world so real that the players could not distinguish it from reality. After outlawing wars between the city-states on Earth, he declared that all wars would be fought inside the world of Primacy Online. Thirteen hundred years later, the release of Primacy Online VI: Legacy of Balor signals the beginning of World War IX. Players from Earth's city-states will be locked in cryogenic capsules and play Primacy Online in War Mode. Their achievements in the game will determine the victory rankings of their city-states, but if they die in the game, they will die for real. Patrick Armagh found flaws in the game mechanics of Primacy Online and exploited them to rise to the peak of the game. But when the Church declared he was cheating, he was perma-banned from the game. Now, the Church has declared that Patrick and all the other perma-banned cheaters will be included in a special Church group for World War IX, where they can earn redemption for their sin of cheating. However, Morgan Danan, Speaker of the City of Mann, and the generally acknowledged number one player of Primacy Online, has a deal for Patrick. With her help and his method of cheating, he has the chance to become a virtual god within Primacy Online, but by taking up her offer, he will become an enemy of the Church. Like a significant percentage of Primacy Online players, Patrick suffers from an ultimately fatal, degenerative nervous system disorder. He has less than five years to live. With death staring him in the face and nothing to live for, he accepts Morgan Danan's offer, and once again, enters Primacy Online as Crom Cruach, a disgraced legend. Will Crom Cruach, once again, become a legend, or will he be destroyed by the Church? What secrets has the Church hidden inside the game?

This fiction won't be updated regularly due to my own circumstances and while I will try to update it often, I won't always be able to. That being said I hope you enjoy this little work of mine. I'm not an experienced, and don't consider myself a good author in any way. But hopefully some people will enjoy this fiction like I do writing it, regardless of that.
