(Josiah): "My apologies for how I conducted myself."
Nebo puffed up her nonexistent chest. She had a smug face on it that was really punchable.
(Nebo): " hmph you better you kid. Back in my days, just a mention of my name would have caused mass fear."
Hard to inspire fear when you look like that, but I digress if I said that I feel like she would get pissed off.
(Sarria): "Alright., let's just go and meet Pharaoh."
(Max): "Where would we even look.?"
Yes, honestly, she was the one person that was with us the least. She sometimes comes here and there, but then she just disappears. , so, it's going to be a pain in the ass.
(Sarrs): "Well I remember that she was near the mountains she was a unique one."
His deep voice vibrated through the air as he put his hands on his chin.
(Josiah): "Hold on I could help with that."
I raised my hands with a confident smile. My black eyes reflected the sun. They all looked at me with a confused gaze. This might be time to impose my knowledge on these ignorant fools.
(Josiah): " Hehehe well gather round my children. So, my skill is controlling the fundamentals of physics."
It took so long that it turned into night. I admit, I took it too far. When I was done with my little summary, they all looked dead-eyed.
(Nebo): "Woah I'm surprised you already know that and yeah all the way in the middle of nowhere are you a genius.?"
(Josiah): "It seemed like you already know this information. how.?"
(Nebo): "It is common sense I would imagine, well I'm a genius, though you controlling it is something entirely different."
(Sarria): "Real question is how do you know this stuff.?"
(max): "Yeah realistically you shouldn't be able to know this stuff unless you studied them."

They all turned their eyes at me. Should I tell them? In the first place, which was my past life, I wanted to start a new one. But then again, it doesn't really matter now, does it.?
(Josiah): "This is not my first life."
Nebo was the first to make a reaction, as she was talking to her about it. The possibilities and such I didn’t really understand.
(Nebo): "Even I hadn't experienced something as bizarre as a reincarnation especially on a mythical being this is new!"
(Sarria): " Even so we still have to find Pharaoh."
>
(Josiah): "Oh her? I already found her location."
Nebo was curious about how I worked, I don't know much about her past, but she did tell me that she knew about skills and such and mine might be ultimate or absolute.
The others was like Woah. Though with a feeling that they were dead inside energetic.
We got up and walked to a location in a desolate portion of the forest. It looked destroyed. The smell of death permeated the air.
I couldn't help but scrunch my nose. There was a being that looked like a buff wolf. Its face was ripped open. Flies were already degrading its body.
Is it me or is it getting hard to, see?
No. It doesn't seem to be my imagination. My senses are getting dulled.
Click,Click,Click
(max): "What was that.?"
(Sarria): "Nebo."
Nebo nodded as she was using air magic. It tried to disperse the fog around us. It went away.
I was starting to calm down, but it then filled in again.
(Sarrs): "Everyone doesn't leave each other sides."
We followed his orders, jumping to each back, turning on our abilities.
skit skat
Blood was feeling in the air. Beings were moving. I tried to use my abilities to sense them, but I saw that these were going really quick, clicking their mouths. The blood from the fog was starting to get bigger.

I could sense the magnets inside them, but my skill with control, the electromagnetic force, wasn't that great at best, I could attract, and repel, but too much could hurt my brain.
I sensed some metallic thing coming our way. it seemed to have been thrown.
(Josiah): "Guys incoming!"
Immediately, Max put up a bubble-like field, slowing down the knife. Sarrs too, quickly went at it using his immense speed, chopped at it, bending the knife.
As he did A being made of blood lunged at him, ripping a piece of the bubble, catching him off guard, but even so, Sarrs reacted quickly enough to land a blow at his abdomen.
As if expecting it, there was another clone in the limelight. Nebo blasted at them, but the clone blew up. Making the air around us harder to see and making Nebo jobs to manipulate the air harder to move.
>
The air became clearer, but Sarrs wasn't there anymore.
(Max): "Oi oi where is he?"
We didn't know what had just hit us.
Click click click.
We kept on hearing these weird noises, like metal hitting each other.
Our senses were getting dulled. The blood in the air was intoxicating. I could taste it.
I should go on top and see what's going on.
>
I jumped up, cracking the ground underneath me. I was getting higher and higher.
shling.
>
I repelled seven knives. I looked around to see if there was any. Thankfully not, I think I can calm down, and focus.
bam, something hit me. It was on top of me. It kept on punching my face. I couldn't focus. I was losing control.
crack
The ground shook. It's like I have been falling a lot.
I tried to get up but jumped back down the creature's face.
It didn't have any eyes or a nose. Its skin was gray skin. The only thing that was present on its face was its mouth. The fangs were on full display as it screeched, clicking its mouth as it went away.
I couldn't be idle, or I would get hurt, so I attracted two of the knives, then grabbed them.
Two clones were formed. One was trying to hurt me in the front while the other tried to hit me from the back. I slashed at the one in the front, then, kicking it, tried to get up. I used gravity to attract it myself. It couldn't control itself as it was going at me.
I jumped the clone and hit the other clone. Then the blood fog got lighter, and it was becoming easier to see and breathe.
That's strange. Why did that happen?
screeeeeech!
There were 4 more clones behind me and the other two were getting up.
I might be getting more than I bargained for ...
I ran to the ones that were getting up. using the back as a propeller.
I aimed my knives at the two that were running towards me. They flew to the clone's legs making them fall.
>
The knives came back to me. I was going to fight the two left, but then ...
The fog grew thicker. My senses were getting overwhelmed.
(Josiah): "Ugh."
The clones punched my stomach, breaking the clothes as they tried to repair themselves.
(Max): "Oh mother of the earth as I stand let every being know that you reign supreme as you drown these sinners in never-ending earth. [Earth magic: burial]."
The earth starting to swim following under the clones couldn't react fast enough. Their bodies were already falling in the endless sandpit. But they weren't physically. It didn't matter. They were not quick enough to get out. They were part of the ground, it solidified.

Of Men and Dragons, Book 1
Book 1 is now available on Kindle, or in paperback/hardcover! You can buy it here! Jack crash-landed on a planet where the natives are seven-foot-tall carnivorous cat-lizards currently somewhere between stone and bronze age. The good news is the natives think the ship that crashed into their mountain is a dragon and are steering clear of it. The bad news is they just left one of their own as a sacrifice to appease the beast. No matter what Jack and his AI co-pilot decide, his life just got a lot more complicated... ATTENTION: This is soft sci-fi rather than hard sci-fi, hence why I chose that tag. For those of you unfamiliar with the distinction, here's what Wikipedia had to say. 1. It explores the "soft" sciences, and especially the social sciences (for example, anthropology, sociology, or psychology), rather than engineering or the "hard" sciences (for example, physics, astronomy, or chemistry). 2. It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.
