“Am I wanted now?!” Aiya asks Eric.
“No. They didn’t see you.” Eric chuckles.
“Oh… ok good,” Aiya says as she goes into the cabin.
The rest of the trip is peaceful. Eventually, they get close enough to Logue island that they can see it in the distance. A few seagulls are flying around but a particularly big bird with a hat catches Eric's eye. He whistles and waves and the bird flies over.
It swoops down and drops a stack of papers on the deck. Eric chucks a coin at the bird and it flies away. Eric flips through the stack of wanted posters when he stops on a page. It's a drawing of Eric with his helmet on, with a huge crooked smile covering his face. His bounty is 1 million berries.
“At least they didn’t see my face.” Eric smiles.
Once they reach Logue Town docks and tie their boat up. Eric walks up to Aiya and hands her a few stacks of beli.
“This is where we split up.” Eric smiles and starts walking away.
“Wait!” Aiya yells.
“Hm?” Eric asks raising his eyebrow.
“I wanna keep being your navigator!” Aiya continues screaming “I wanna see the world and become strong! That'll never happen if I go back to Sweetfish island.”
“I'm going to the grand line. You sure you wanna come?” Eric smiles.
AIya gulps but looks at Eric with determination.
“Yes, I'm positive!” Aiya screams.
Eric just sighs and starts walking off.
“Well, you coming?” Eric asks over his shoulder
Aiya runs to catch up with Eric and they start walking through town. They stop at a restaurant and eat some food before asking for directions to the best shipyard.
After walking for a bit they come across a huge building with the words “Shipwright brothers” written across it. Eric walks into the building with Aiya following.

“Hi, there! What can I help you with?” A woman behind a counter asks.
“I need a boat. One preferably with enough room for five or so people. Has room for storage and can fit cannons. Needs to be sturdy. Price doesn't matter.” Eric smiles at the lady.
“Right away, sir” The woman grabs a catalog and shows Eric which boats fit his criteria. None of them stand out until he comes across the “Sailwind”. It's exactly what he wants. And it's a dark silver color, just like his armor.
“I’ll take this one.” Eric points at the boat.
“Alright. That’ll be 750k beli please.” The woman smiles.
Eric throws a few chests at her and lets her count.
“Sir, you’ve given around 50k more than needed.” The woman says.
“Keep it.” He tells her.
“Thank you very much, sir. Your new boat will be ready in about three days.” She smiles at Eric.
Eric thanks her and walks out. They head for a weapon shop first. Eric finds the best-rated one and walks in. There are katanas, clubs, cutlasses, and several other weapons all over the place. Eric grabs a few pistols for Aiya and starts looking around for a weapon.
Yes, Eric can make his arms weapons, Yes, they are cool. But what is cooler than arm swords? Actual swords. And so Eric starts looking for a cool weapon. He looks around for any eye-catching weapons when he sees a Ōdachi hanging on the wall.
He grabs it and walks up to the old man at the counter.
The old man raises his eyebrow at Eric before saying “That weapon is not for a weak user.”
“I can use it fine.” Eric just smiles at the man.
“Do you know how to use it?” The old man asks Eric.

“Yeah, all you gotta do is swing it at the enemy,” Eric says.
The old man scoffs and shakes his head.
“No, you fool. You need technique!” The old man yells at Eric.
“Oh… well, do you know how to use a Ōdachi?” Eric asks the old man.
“Yes. I've won several tournaments with a Ōdachi.” The old man nods to himself.
“Oh cool. You can teach me.” Eric smiles.
“Bah! There's no way an idiot like you can learn.” The old man smirks.
“Oh yeah? let's bet on it. If I can’t learn how to use a Ōdachi then you can have this beli” Eric takes three chests out of his storage and sets them on the counter.
“And if you win?” The old man asks Eric.
“I can pick anything in this store for free.” Eric smiles cheekily at the old man.
The old man glances at Eric then the beli then back at Eric.
“Deal.” The old man shakes Eric's hand.
The old man walks to the front door and locks it, and heads into the back of the store. Eric and Aiya follow him into a small studio where he grabs a katana that is in a chest. The old man walks out another door and into the ally and then up a ladder.
The roof is completely flat.
“This is where you will train.” The old man says as he unsheathes his sword.
Eric pulls out his Ōdachi too. The old man suddenly dashes at Eric, who starts swinging at the old man. The old man deflects Eric's sword, and swings at his neck, stopping his sword just before hitting Eric's neck.
“You gonna give up?” The old man smirks.
Eric just smiles and the old man backs up to attack again.
1 month later…
Eric and Mushimoto (The old man) are standing across from each other on the roof. They both dash at each other and start swinging their swords. Aiya cheering Eric on from the sidelines.
They clash several times, neither budging. Mushimoto lands multiple hits on Eric and just as they’re about to clash Eric speeds up and slips his sword through Mushimotos defense stopping his sword from his neck.
The two fighters step back and bow at each other.
“You’ve learned much in our short time together. You have the most potential I’ve ever seen. Feel free to grab whatever you want from my store. Make sure to remember me when you are the best in the world.” Mushimoto jokes.
“Thank you. I would never dream about forgetting you.” Eric jumps off the roof and heads inside the store.
He looks around before grabbing a barrel full of throwing knives, axes, and stars. He just chucks it into his storage.
Eric and Aiya have been staying at a hotel the whole time they've been in Logue Town. The Sailwind was ready three days after they bought it but left it at the shipwright's warehouse. They head to the warehouse and get their boat.
They put all of their stuff onto their boat and sail out into the ocean.
“Next stop, the grand line!”

Lost in Love
My name is Alexander Halesworth, sole heir to a prestigious ducal house. Or rather, that’s what my identity is supposed to be now. I still haven’t gotten used to this whole situation yet. Not long ago I was just a humble store clerk. But shortly after getting into an unfortunate road accident, I woke up in the setting of an infamous Otome Game called “Lost in Love: A Heart Throbbing Romance in a Fantasy World~!” Yeah. It’s even trashier than it sounds. Don’t judge me, it was a gift from a friend. *cough* Anyway, this situation wouldn’t be too bad, except I ended up in the body of the worst possible person: the villainess’ older brother. Alexander has great looks, near limitless wealth, and a thoroughly rotten personality. In most of the game’s endings I end up dead or exiled. My family also falls to ruin, and don’t even get me started on what happens to my evil little sister. Well, whatever. If that’s the hand fate dealt me, then I just have to prevent the bad ends, right? And if I have no choice but to deal with this family’s baggage, I may as well enjoy myself while I’m at it. Hope
There were 2 options: Fight the same war for countless more aeons. Shatter the Betrayer's undead legions time and time again until all was ground to dust. Because the endless legions truly never end. A hair's breath of ground in a century is enough if the war takes all of eternity. Or to choose Hope. To cast away his memories, his power, his very life. To wager everything on a chance to prevent their eventual end or to perish trying. Because if he were to return it would be with the power necessary to finally slay what remains of the Betrayer. Of the last Aspect. Only then would all things be right. And so, he chose the latter. Expect:Weak to strong quick-ish.Powerful MC reincarnates, gradually starts regaining memories.MC that is an actual character not a plot device. My original unique magic system discovered along with the MC.My original setting with mythos that have both been living rent free in my head for actual years.Opening arc will be less fast than the following story. Good writing (I think) and grammar. Upload schedulle: 2 chapters a week of 3-4k words each. I want to upscale to 3 in the future. Meant to be read in RR dark mode. For those coming here from my other stories, this is indeed a reimagining of my older story, CotM. I say reimagining because I have changed so much it cannot be called just a rewrite. Among the major changes, MC is fundamentally different in personality and background, I have actually planned the story out and changed it almost completely and I have adjusted my mythos so it no longer has as many holes as swiss cheese.

Tabula Rasa : An Unbound Adventure
It starts as many things do: a clean slate, an empty page. What once was set in stone and wholly writ is gone, and all that's left is the vague notion of absence, a fullness lacking. The feeling of being tetherless, pathless, without direction or responsibility is something many would find terrifying. Others might find it freeing - an opportunity to strike out on new adventures and explore the unknown.Either way, first they have to figure out where they are and how they leave. ====== My first novel on this platform! An avid GameLit/LitRPG fan, I decided to start writing this when I seemed to exhaust all of my options for well reviewed content on the site! Inspiration for the world/general feeling is a mix of Azarinth Healer, Abyssal Road Trip, Winterborn, and the Power of Ten series, with a strong reliance on 3.5 and PF1 frameworks as a scaffold for the world. I see Arc 1 as a Robinson Crusoe style coming to terms scenario, lots of exploration of the System, the MC's options, the island and encounters with the denizens and visitors of the Timeless Isle, with a non-zero amount of introspection around their long term goals. I'll publish as frequently as I'm able but don't have a regular cadence planned at the moment.
