Chapter 1; The birth(updated)

'The world we lived in was a fascinating place. It held or bestowed birth to many many creatures including us humans.

We all had our way of seeing this world and everybody had different reflections about it. The same applied to me.

In the past, I always believed that 'The GOD' the Supreme being and the Father of all creation didn't exist in this world. But now, I was proven wrong. Just because there was no scientific proof of him or that I hadn't seen him with my own two eyes didn't mean he doesn't exist.

The misconception I always had was that everything and I mean everything or every phenomenon in this world could be proven by using science and logic.

Every little action that was happening on this planet, had a reason behind it. This way of thinking led me to believe in my thoughts.

Sure, I might not have believed in him in the past but... Now the situation was wholly different.

For one thing, I was "dead" Yes dead! I was 100% sure that I was "killed" and how I could even have survived.

I was beheaded by those "BASTARDS '' so-called friends and colleagues of mine.

No one batted an eye when my head was in the guillotine for the crime I didn't even commit.

Well, it's not like I could change what happened to me but I had so many regrets.'

'Ohh!! Sorry Where are my manners, in this whole talk

I forgot to introduce myself.'

'My name was Aldan and I was a 40 years old middle-aged man before I became a soul.

Yeah So, as I said, I was dead and the place I'm in now, I couldn't even begin to describe, and if you ask why?'

'Well... how should I describe it? Hmm... let's see, for one thing, there's nothing to see. It's so pitch black out here that I can't even see my own body, that is if I have one of course.'

The only thing I was sure of was this warm feeling that I felt in my so-called new form.

I felt no negative emotion that was present in me. I was at peace with my past and unafraid of what my future might have stored for me. It felt like I was being repaired from my previous trauma and scars.'

'I felt like every problem I had was now lost in this nothingness. I didn't feel any sadness. I aimlessly gravitated in this emptiness with feelings of being rebuilt.'

When I was alive, I always had this question in my mind that, if a person died by any means whether it be old age, suicide, accident, or murder.

Where would his soul or consciousness end up after being dead?

Now, I think I might receive an answer to my question.

I hoped I would end up in the so-called "heaven" that I heard so much about from my previous world.

People said this heaven was like a Paradise for the dead souls, where they met the so-called God.

I already knew what hell felt like due to my previous life.

'I know, I know, not everything that had happened to me was this God's fault and I was not even blaming him. How could I even blame him? It's us humans who are the problem here.'

We were the most intelligent beings on this planet. At the same time, we were the stupidest and greediest creatures in the whole universe.

Humankind had always been a terrible emotionally thinking race.

We were the issue for all our problems, we had not only hurt others but we had hurt ourselves by our actions. We made our own and others' lives miserable but… It was truly impossible to define someone as bad as they were. Most of the time the bad guys were simply people who never got a chance to be anything but criminals.

Then there were people like me, whose life had been pushed and pushed until they broke. Not to mention psycho and sociopaths. How could someone that was born bad be sent to hell simply because his head was malfunctioning?

Hence, I had always believed that either there was a place where we repent for mistakes and errors we had made or Death was supposed to be the final spirit level, good or bad, rich or poor the destination had to be the same.

I know it was boring here but it was not like I had something else to do. So, how about reminiscing. That was the only thing I could think of to do to pass the time.

'Well from where should I begin.'

Hmmm...let's see, For one thing, I was born in a monopoly world, Where money was everything.

With parents that work hard like there was going to be no tomorrow.

We were not rich by any means. It was just that we had enough money for a good and stable life.

They both earned a good amount of wealth by doing honest and hard work.

That was when my life turned completely.

After some time when we had made enough money and started having a good and better life, That was when my fate played dirty jokes on me.

So much so, that if you were in my shoes. you feel like you had hit rock bottom and you would think, your life could not get any worse. But for me, my life sank so much, that I thought I didn't even have a bottom to hit.

I know, I know everyone had their fair share of problems and struggles in their life but for me, you could say my life was the worst.

My father left my mother for another woman and left me, and my sister behind, taking all our money and leaving us dirt poor.

From that point onward my life became hell. You could guess what happened next. First, my mother's behavior changed for the worse. I didn't even want to think about that. Whenever I thought about it, I felt my blood boiling.

The second was you could predict what happened next. When you leave a person and strip them from their wealth without leaving a single penny in a selfish and money-based world where wealth was the source of all the answers for all your problems.

I had to survive those terrible times and support my sister. She was only one of the good things that existed in my life.

'Yes! Yes, you might like how I contradict myself.'

'But as you know already, life might give a lot of problems in your journey but it would also give some reason or something for you to keep on living.'

'Now I understand, God was not unfair and he gave equal opportunities for everyone, you just had to be patient and be careful to find it.'

'My sister gave me a reason to live and the circumstances I was put into helped me to build my character and skills to survive.'

'I became one of the greatest minds on the planet Earth.

I was considered a genius in every field you could guess and technology, not only I had mastered every art there was.

I was also a Technology prodigy.'

I was one of the reasons for technical advancements in the world.

But with great success always came a price.

Some became happy and appreciated my success while others became so jealous that they would do anything to put me down from the pedestal of success. They would go to any means or means possible. Just to see my failure.

From that point onward my life had changed again.

This time, it was not in my favor.

'Just like everything comes to an end at some point in their time and that was the same for me but with that, I left with so many regrets.'

Well, I was dead now.

So, it didn't even matter anymore.

'Now all I wished now was that,

I would end up in heaven if there was one and have a peaceful time. Crying over the spilled milk is not a good idea.'

.

.

.

This journey seemed to take an eternity; I half expected a choir of children to be singing in an angelic voice, beckoning me towards what I hoped would be heaven.

'Huh... wait a minute I finally could see a light.'

'What the...why do I feel like I am drifting toward it..'

'Finally, I think my destination has arrived. Please God, not hell, please.'

As I passed through the light.

My vision of everything around me had turned into a blur of bright light and sound assaulted my ears.

When I tried to listen to the muffled voice became clear and I made out: "Congratulations!! Salina and James, he's a healthy boy."

'...Wait… WHAT!!'

I guessed normally, I should be thinking along the lines of Shit, was I just born? Am I a baby now?

'What is this crap? Are you making fun of me God? I said heaven, not this again. Why are you playing with me?'

I felt like crying.

'Now, I have to repeat the whole journey....'

After crying on my luck for some time. I tried analyzing my situation in a rational genius-like manner.

I understood one thing.

I was in a place where there was no language barrier between me and the citizens of this world, that was a good sign at least.

After that, slowly and painfully I opened my eyes, my eyes were bombarded with different colors and figures. It took a bit out of time for my infant's eyes to get used to the light.

In front of me (The doctor, or so it seemed was holding me as a baby) was a lady with a face so girly and so pretty that every man in the world, who was reproductively okay, would want to show their carnal desire to mate with her.

A white-skinned face with a small mouth, red lips, big greeny-blue hazy eyes, and long gray hair tied in a ponytail manner.

The strangest thing was that she wasn't wearing a doctor's gown nor had any medical instruments near her.

I guessed that we were not even in a hospital. I think I was born in a village or so it seemed.

Out of nowhere, the doctor Lady slapped my butt.

'Agh… that fucking doctor just hit me on my bottom. It was so painful.'

'You bitch!! Let me tell you if you haven't had a girly face. I would've killed you for what you just did. '

'What am I even saying. I know that's not possible.'

Finally, the lady passed me to a lady who I assumed was my mother.

With tears pouring out of my eyes. I looked at the lady

Taking a few more seconds to see what she looked like I thought.

'Oh boy! She is so beautiful!

I didn't even know anyone someone as prettier as her. '

She was so lovely that I kept on staring at her. I didn't know why?

I might not have been lucky with ladies in my former life, but I didn't know anyone so cute, innocent, kind, and lovely as her. She had distinct blonde hair with blue clear eyes and long eyelashes.

Just by gazing at them, you could feel your heart starting to ache and feel ticklish all over your body.

I couldn't help but notice her long eyelashes and perky nose with white soft skin. And a little black beauty spot at the intersection of her light pink smooth lips to enhance her beauty. She permeated motherly feeling just by looking at her face.

'Was this why babies were attracted to their mothers? Her face made me want to just cling to her. I didn't know how to explain it.'

I forced myself to look away from one of the world's wonders and noticed a man who I guessed was my father.

With tears in his eyes and a smile on his face, his eyes gazed at me with so much happiness. It was like you could find the wealth that you had lost. I couldn't t even portray it.

Immediately with a sweet smile on his face and teary eyes, he said

" Hi! little guy, I am your father, can you say it dada? "

" James... don't be stupid. He's just born." My mother said with a smiling teary face and happy voice.

I took a closer look at my father as I thought, 'man... I am going to be so handsome and a little bit cute due to my mother.'

My father was expecting a newborn to speak ( I had to give him the benefit of doubt and thought he said that out of the joy of becoming a father).

He was a charismatic-looking man with honesty in his black shiny eyes and a cleanly shaved face with a square jawline that complimented his figure.

'His silver-colored long hair seemed to be girly while his eyebrows were strong and fierce, extending in a swords-like manner meeting to v shape. Yet his eyes held a gentle quality, whether it was because of me being born. I don't know.'

" Hmm...Lyla look!

Isn't he the cutest? His skin is like a white cotton ball and soft as a marshmallow." I heard my father's voice.

'So, the doctor lady has the name Lyla, a pretty name for a pretty lady.'

" Yes! For a moment I didn't even believe he is your son, With a face like that. I bet he is going to be a heartbreaker for many ladies in the future.'

'So, what about his name? Have you decided?" Lyla said.

" Yes, his name is going to be Antonio Hale. I think it's a nice name. " My father said.

'Antonio, hmm... it's a nice name better than my last name 'Alden ' at least.'

" No! I don't want that name for my baby." My mother said with a little bit of anger in her voice.

" Why? it's a nice manly name."

" Sorry honey, It's just that I already had a name decided. "

"I like it so much and you already promised me that I will be the one who is going to name him. " My mother said,

"Fine! So what is the name?" My father asked.

" Griffin! Griffin Hale, an Eagle with a Lion body. The name of a mythological creature that shows strength and kindness." My mother said while looking at me.

'Griffin yes!! I like it, that's a good and powerful name. Far better than Aldan.'

"Griffin, hmm… nice choice and also has a nice ring to it. " my father said.

" Okay, now you have to rest Salina, you already have lost so much blood. And you!! , don't talk to her right now. Let her have some rest. Now don't disturb her." Lyla said in a serious tone.

'' Okay, I should go tell others about him. you should get some rest, honey." my father said in a scared voice while leaving the room.

" Take some rest, you will need to feed the baby. And in the meantime, I should go fetch some clean clothes to wear for the baby and you." Lyla said.

' I should also get some rest. I don't know why but I feel sleepy for some reason and I feel tired.

Soon everything would change. There's a long journey ahead of me. I hope my past does not affect me and my future in this journey now and that I don't make the same mistake again….' I thought while closing my eyes.

To be continued…..
